Staff member told me they were out of stock of glue gun sticks. Went home, checked online stock to find greenwich has plenty. Drove all the way back to find that they had loads in stock., I mean a WHOLE 5 SHELVES of stock. If you go in there DON'T ask for assistance from the middle aged guy with long scraggy hair.

My favourite craft store to shop. Sometimes its easier to get things store ordered as they tend to get sold out in store. They hold free events, so it's a good idea to check online and see what's taking place in a store near you.

Great for when you have a vague idea, and look at all the tools and pieces — and put a contraption together in your mind.
The staff are helpful, but not hassling you. Go walk down the aisles, contemplate, retrace your steps, compare plan A and plan B, it's like a library really.

The stock is of average quality and is poorly organised. It is somewhat chaotic. Staff are helpful and are really needed to find anything you're after. Parking is abundant.

I think Hobbycraft must be one of the finest shops for Crafters. I needed some card to back a small book. Hey presto, there it was in several sizes and colours. I bought a pack of multi colours because I have no end of uses for them. Book covers, book backing, colouring, collage, cutting shapes, lanterns etc. The list is endless.

Really big store with a huge range of crafts. Staff were friendly and happy to help and find items for you. Nice shop to just have a walk around in too. Four stars as I felt it was a little crowded and tight but still great.

Not many of these stores around, but an absolute gem.
If you're a creative type or looking for some inspiration, there's plenty to pick up from here.
It's a shame there aren't more branches around. I had to travel over an hour to get to this one (my local).
It was worth the trip.

Disappointed. If you have an actual craft hobby like knitting or sewing you will find an extensive range here. However if you are into drawing like myself the stock is limited at this branch and you are better off ordering from an online store.
