Great shop. Always find something new to try out. I would strongly encourage anyone of any age to pop in and you are guaranteed to find something that you can be creative with and boost your mental wellbeing.
I have not had much interaction with staff in the store but they are always available and ready to assist.
Not sure if it is an effect if the COVID-19 crisis but recently some of the shelves are empty.

I went today for some water colour supplies. I appreciate they had an arts material sale but there wasn't much on sale. Not much selection of watercolour paper and some seemed as if they had been on display in a garden shed. Not that impressed. Unfortunately I will result to buying materials on line. I just wanted to support the actual store ????

I have no problem with the physical stores but my experience of ordering online has been atrocious. Delayed delivery, mixed communication and when the delivery was made there were missing items with no explanation. I won't be using their online service again.

Their google page states they are open for in store visitors when you get there you see a massive sign stating click and collect only.
They could update this, couldn’t they?! (if small businesses can do it big shops could do too).

Amazing shop for anything art. Everything can be found easily as the isles are labelled and if not then the staff are super kind and helpful. There are also sets of pens which can be tried out before you buy new ones separately on pieces of paper which is handy, and they sell from cheap to the top of the range art equipment.

Vast availability of craft tools for so many differeny hobbies. Lots of parking if you visit mid week. Avoid on the weekend as the Nugent is very busy. Not much staff around to help on the shop floor but everything is quite clearly sign posted. I visited this trip for a glue gun and glue dots for candle making. The lady on the till kindly advised me that I picked up the wrong glue sticks for my purchase, advise which was much appreciated.
