Just ordered and had delivered a very disappointing meal from Eddie's. My vegetable spring roll and onion rings were burnt and our chips almost inedible. We covered them in our own curry sauce in order to eat them. They were small and like rubber Sorry but won't be ordering again from there

The customer service is poor , as poor as the hygiene standards. The lady who served me with the same glove she has done the fried she handle everything else.
I've ordered chicken and chips, what a mistake!! The chips were mushy, tasteless, clearly old and not fresh as advertised. The chicken was blend, dry and hard to cut. Both, chicken and chips, had something in common: the greasy taste of an old reused frying oil.
I've tried my best to eat it. I could not do even the half of any of them. I had to bin it, and but the rubbish out since the smell of greasy old frying oil infested the room.

We went to the cafe and it was very good,clean friendly surroundings with plenty of choice of meals to choose from. The food was very good and well cooked, good sized portions, good choice of drinks all at reasonable prices. Friendly helpful staff.

Have just had fish and chips delivered from Eddie's fish and chips shop I have to say how good the meal is the fish very good with a light batter and crispy as well as the chips plus the food was hot when delivered so that made the meal even more enjoyable we would recommend Eddie's to anyone also there coffee cafe again good food and service so if your looking for good food and coffee then try Eddie's in boundary road

Very polite and pleasant person at the counter but the chicken and the veggie burgers I ordered, that cost £3.90 each, came with just the buns, no garnish whatsoever nothing !

Went there today for some chips , told me they were cooked fresh but when got home they were brown , tough and absolutley disgusting , ended up putting them in the bin , worst chips I have ever tasted , avoid this place at lunchtime as they were not fresh at all .

One is a always assured a warm welcome in this family diner. Eddie and his wife work a happy kitchen and a lively restaurant alongside regulars who are well used to the variety of cakes and tray bakes available on a daily basis. Robust main courses are also worth a mention, eg grilled salmon served with mash and veg and the ubiquitous all day breakfast, as well as the odd Polish or Albanian dish such as cabbage soup. A simple toasted bacon sandwich was most satisfactory and went down a treat. Roast dinners are served too. The double espresso is a fine compliment to the well roasted coffee bean. There is also a good selection of tea and cold non alcoholic drinks....but by all means do have a double measure of brandy to warm the cockles of your heart.
