The worst fish and chips I've ever tasted in my life - and what makes it worse is that the food is really overpriced. It's a shame that places like this exist and especially with the rude staff. To get a small portion of fish and ships it cost us £8 and you had to pay 50p for ketchup and other additions. I will let you decide whether dealing with terrible staff, overpriced, bland food is worth £8.50. If you don't want this (or even the same for cheaper - rare in Brighton), simply go down the road or elsewhere. Avoid this place.

I had battered sausage and chips and it was fine. Chips were very good but i saw him put some fresh ones in. The only downside was that the tomato sauce was not heinz and i can tell the difference! But they did come free :)

Worst fish and chips I've ever had. Wanted a simple, fast lunch during BrightonSEO. Fish was full of bones, the skin was disgusting and we had to wait 30 minutes because, apprently, people taking away have priority even if we paid extra 3 pounds for eating in. Just, skip this place, poor service, poor food...

AVOID. Went to this walk-in restaurant yesterday with family, 11 of us in all, ordered 3 x cod & chips to takeaway sit outside £21, tasted nice at the tme but unfortunately a short while later was sick 5 times and this was the only thing I ate. Some of my family were charged £3 extra for their food to be served on a plate as they didnt state they were eating it outside and they asked for refund of their food, which was refused as they found it disgusting.

Disgusting food over cooked burnt Member of staff who called himself a manager was rude and arrogant. So we complained as you do and he said I have many customers who come in just for food here even though the place was empty now you can see why... a pigeon came through the door so the MAnager threw a calculator at the pigeon and all he could say was they are dirty creatures so I told him maybe close the doors and apparently wasn't allowed... then tried charging me £1 per sachet of sauce even though there is no mention of sauce in menu WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!!!! Wouldn't even rate a one star ????????

AWFUL EXPERIENCE NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!! Food was disgusting! Cold saveloy, weird taste to the pie, frozen rubbish chips. Hardly ate any of the food, literally a few chips, 1/4 of the pie and one mouthful of saveloy. Cost £16, asked for a refund and they refused, finally said they would refund the saveloy! Ha! £2 refund! Then they proceeded to laugh at us! Asked for a manager, told no manager on site. WORST FISH AND CHIP IN MY LIFE!!!

Terrible food. The prices are higher than the prices on the menu board outside. The man who made and served our food clearly had no training and he had no idea what he was doing.

Worst fish and chips I've ever had. Our food took extremely long to arrive and when it did I wish they hadn't bothered. Staff were rude - when we asked if our table could be cleaned the miserable waitress rubbed the table with her hands and stormed off. Go here for bottom rate fish and oven chips. Avoid like the plague.

Awful service. The woman in charge kept shouting at her staff, ordered them to stop talking and not to stop working. Food took so long to came and was extremely over priced. Woman in charge slapped the back of the waitress head when she got an order mixed up and kept talking to other people while we were trying to order. Would never recommend this place in a million years. Heard rumours or drug usages/dealing on site. Absolutely disgusting.

We had the cod and southern fried chicken. Both were very poor quality. The chips were not much better. Sadly most of the meal went in the bin. Would not recommend.

This was the worst fish and chips ever anywhere.
The chips were stale and the so called filleted fish still had bones in it.
The tins of pepsi was warm and was served with three minute pieces of ice, and they was very very reluctant to give us mire ice.
Fish and chips at this place came to £25, and for what ?
Never go here.

Was her 12/8/2012 with family and kid's i had been up since 5:30am an when we order our food it was around 3 half in afternoon so i was starving and not eaten. I ordered 2 regular chips and 2 sausages was charged like £12 for it they brang it on 2 plates the chips where dry and the sausage was minty. You get more chips from Mc ds. They charged me £3 to eat in after 1 bit into the sausage i took it back and complained the lady said to me because i have touched it she cant tKe it back as she cant reserve it to anyone else DISGUSTING. In the end i said i want a refund she said she cant do that and said she will give the the sit it charge of £3 so i just took it I paid for food i didn't even eat . Wasnt even propper chips way over priced and was disgusting. The next day found out a family member had got sick on the way home think it was the dodgy fish she ate AVOID AVOID AVOID .

Would give 0 stars if I could. Oven chips. Stone cold fish and uncooked saveloy. Waitress cleaned the tables with the same cloth we saw her drying drinking glasses with. Absolutely disgusting. Avoid avoid avoid!
