I read the reviews about this chip shop and was happy to try them but unfortunately ( last Thursday) the chips had black eyes in them and had definitely been refried ( maybe to heat them up) as they were rubberised. The cod was very flat and thin that you couldn't distinguish it from the batter. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but at £18 for 2 x Cod and Chips It was extremely disappointing.!!!

It was OK, just a bit greasy. My Mum said it was nice fish and the chips were good. Just please don't use UberEats to order, they're useless and our delivery took way way longer than it should have, luckily the food was still warm thanks to the shop. Go collect it yourself if you can ????????

Used UberEats for the first time. The order was wrong and the food delivered was greasy. Won’t do that again. Use a different delivery firms and buy from a different chippy. Now have to try and get our money back!!!

Happy to say its my local and new favourite. Freshly cooked, fish was really good. Chips fluffy. The price was really reasonable too. £7 for cod and chips in Brighton is great.
The staff with the long hair was really friendly. Nice customer service, looked clean too.

Fantastic fish & chips, and rated a lot better than most on the sea front. There is no indoor seating but that's not an issue if you need to get a train! However we got on the train to realise he had not put forks in the bag which was a little frustrating!

I bought medium cod and chips. Portion was just right and it was very tasty. Cooked fresh to order. i think it is worth the little wait for freshly cooked fish and chips, much appreciated. Will definitely visit again when I have another fish and chip craving. Thank you.

Excellent haddock and chips, with the fish being cooked to order. Batter was tasty and crispy, and the chips were “proper” chip shop style. Guy serving was really friendly too. Definitely recommend ????

It was 9:02pm, we had to catch a train at 9:08pm. Were we going to catch it? Who knows. Not us. We were ravenous for chips and onion rings. There’s a minimum of £5 on card. Did we have time to go to a cash point? No. Times were hard. It was like diffusing a bomb, but tastier.
These guys are like the Usain Bolts of fish and chips. Speedy service and all round cool dudes who gave us 2 x 10p ketchup sachets 2 for 1. Yes that’s right, 2 for 1.

There's so much to say about this place. The food is great, always. The service is spot on and you always feel welcomed. You smile when you enter, whilst you're eating and after you've left. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I walked up for about 15 minuets from my hotel for fish and chips. Very much worth it. I had the large haddock. Totally delicious!! It really is the best when it comes piping hot. Great, friendly staff. They don’t have much of a seating option except for a couple of chairs but that worked fine for me.

The location right next to the station is very convenient. The large cod is always very good, piping hot and really tasty. The chips are normally very good but I've had a couple of occasions where they were a little cold.

I loved the fish and chips. A must have when visiting Brighton. I had fish and chips before many places and it is usually greasy. But this fish was crispy and they taste very fresh.i will visit anytime I come to Brighton.

Great having this so close to the station. (Was) Great value (£1.60 for chips - Nov 2016 £2.00 - Jun 2018 £2.40 Feb 2021) - and mushy peas for £1.50 is steep. They'll charge you for ketchup though. There is a small cod option which is small enough to eat with your hands. Excellent. However chips were cardboard. Probably better at busy times. Sometimes see the proprietor standing outside smoking - off-putting.

The food is perfect but when I was there the backyard wasn't open so I had no table to eat and had to use one of the seats instead. As my hotel was on the other side of Brighton I couldn't take it home easily.
