Overall the food was good. The batter on the fish was very greasy and stuck to the greaseproof (!) paper it was wrapped in!! The batter fell apart during eating. Definitely one of the greasier fish in Brighton. Tasted good though. £1.90 for small chips (Feb 2019). The curry sauce was a little less sweet than the standard around Brighton - didn't include the bits you often get. I would rate this better than the usual curry sauce. Not worth going out of your way for but a solid option in the area.

Completely incredible, unbelievable fish and chips, I live by a different fish and chip shop and used to go there all the time, but I can’t now, nor now I’ve tasted the gloriousness on offer here, it’s an hour away from me, but I’ll happily wait untouched l can go here again. I don’t know what witchcraft they use to get such perfect fish, chips, and curry sauce, and I don’t care. BEST FISH AND CHIPS EVER. And I have tried a lot of them!

definately not the best chip shop but for the area there not much else around unless you drive. i wouldnt recommend it unless your starving and have no other option but theres always fiveways grill around the corner if your willing to sacrifice the fish for chicken or a burger.

Went here because the ratings were so good I was salivating just reading them! I drove the 5 mins instead of walking as I didn't want the lack of heat to compromise the deliciousness I thought my family and I were about to embark upon. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.
The chips were mostly flacid apart from those lovely crunchy bits you get and wolf down quickly while dishing up. The jumbo sausage was half the size of a standard size, my daughter liked the savaloy but she is 13 and clearly has undeveloped taste buds. The fish was like a myth you hear tell of only in legend, non existant. The batter was so greasy I gave up pretending to be satisfied by the meal as the oil ran down my fingers. The only saving grace was the curry sauce hence my mediocre rating of 3 stars. It was also very cheap, I now know why.
