Typical Waitrose, with only the odd bargain to be had, sometimes cheese. Most products cheaper elsewhere and the free coffee is awful. Only use it on Saturday to get a free newspaper. Have even seen strawberries within the sell by date with mold on them.

very conveniently located large supermarket for the Old St crowd, lot's of nice fresh choices, clean, nice staff, easy and quick till service. I like to grab something for lunch and then take it to the nearby Barbican to eat in the sunshine next to the ponds.

It's a Waitrose. After refurbishment it appears to be aiming for a takeaway food market with a sushi counter and a breakfast bar; unfortunately this has diminished the fish counter, the cheese / deli counter seems to have vanished, and the small counter service for cakes has also gone, leaving just the items on the shelves.

serves hot food plus roast chicken.
roast chickens are moist and tasty you just need to buy a bottle of sauce.
stocks lactose free milk.

It's a Watrose with friendly staff, so it's pretty easy to know what to expect from this place.
It has a surprisingly large selection of fruit and veg, so I would recommend getting your 5 a day here and taking them home if you can as the quality of the produce tends to be at least one standard deviation above the norm.
