Decent out of town location on London Road. Stocking a wide variety of TV, Home Cinema, HiFi and accessories. As with all Richer Sounds stores there are huge discounts to be found. On street parking is available but can be a problem. The staff are extremely helpful and go the extra mile. Worth a visit if you are looking for a new TV.

Jason efficiently arranged payment (not just price match, but price beat) and next day delivery. TV is awesome.
I would highly recommend Panasonic OLED and if you re in the market for a new TV, make Richer Sounds Leicester your first call. Excellent product, excellent customer service.

I came here a couple of weeks back as the lockdown in Leicester started to ease.
I booked an appointment over the phone, as requested on their website, so they can limit the number of people in the store.
I spoke with Richard over the phone and he was really helpful with looking for the type of AV receiver I wanted. He managed to squeeze me in for an appointment later that day.
It was a 1 in, 1 out queue as I arrived. But the service was really good, and quick.
Richer sounds generally have the lowest prices if they stock the equipment you need, and are always helpful in recommending products to your requirements.
If they have what you need in stock, no reason not to get it from there to be honest!

We came in to the store day before the Fury fight as we wanted to purchase some surround sound and the AV receiver.
The amazing service provided by Jason was excellent from start to finish!
Jason did not pressure and listened to what kind of surround sound and AV receiver, we wanted and gave advice and knowledge. Also he had a lot of patience and understanding.
James and Levi was excellent too as they were helping with stripping the wires. Thank you for helping too!
Everyone in the store went out of their way to provide a first class service. To be honest you don’t get that nowadays!
Also would like to say thank you to Gary for helping us out too over the phone!
I would highly recommend everyone to pop into the Leicester branch as they are an amazing bunch of people.

Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly staff is what I expected, and exactly what I got. Pricing isn't so exceptional these days - I think margins for all AV retailers are very small, but they are always among the cheapest available. Parking isn't so easy, but I drove past, turned left and found on-street parking at £1 for 3 hours... Plenty of time. There was loading space outside the shop when we picked up the TV. Excellent.

Having just moved house, I wanted to show off the new lounge with a new TV! I know 'a bit' about TV's but I called Richer Sounds in Leicester for advice. I spoke to Jason, who quickly established what it was I was after in terms of size and budget. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and even after I told him I wanted a Samsung, and there would be know persuading me otherwise! After deciding what I wanted, he sold me a great ex-display Samsung QLED, I can not believe the quality of this TV for the price! I've now just got to decide what soundbar to get, but I have a feeling I'll be calling Jason for help once I decide to buy.
If you're in the market for a new TV or Hifi, or anything home entertainment based, I would definitely recommend giving Jason a call!

I bought my tv and sound package from the Leicester store last year and was really impressed with their product knowledge and competitive prices. The system was installed by their specialists and has been absolutely superb. The after sales service I have received, particularly from Devon has been outstanding. Would highly recommend them - they put their competitors to shame!

Some time ago I bought a PVR from Richer Sounds and was persuaded to buy 'Supercare' to cover the product beyond its usual warranty.
Two weeks ago the PVR developed a fault and I returned it as instructed. The turn around time was an impressive 7 days so I was quite pleased.
Unfortunately when I connected the unit to my system I found it had the same fault it had gone away with. I called again but was told that as it was a Saturday I would have to wait for their decision as to what to do next.
Four days later a courier arrived expecting to collect a package, I hadn't been informed that it was to be disconnected and packed up again so he left without it.
I called RS yet again only to be told that they would rearrange collection sometime.
I haven't sent the unit off again as the most useful function, recording, still works.
I would have expected better from RS in that they would have either repaired it first time or offered a replacement. What would be the point in sending it back to potentially have the same result. I will think twice in future about bothering to send anything else to them for repair and I certainly will never be persuaded to take out their 'Supercare.

I phoned on Saturday 14/12/2019 and was answered by Gary, he was very informative and polite. I had a UHD player put aside for collection next day, when I collected he was serving another customer but spoke to me at the till. The guy who served me was also excellent, sorry I did not note his name, but he had a beard (this is a joke, I think they were having a beat Santas beard competition) I do like Richer Sounds but have only experienced Sheffield and Hull before, I would now go to any store with confidence, well done guys, have a great Christmas.

Staff are the epitome of courteous and considerate. I haven't received this level of customer service from anywhere before! Price match guarantee means I'll only ever be purchasing AV from Richer Sounds going forward.
Definitely worth a visit if considering buying new kit, or even if you just need advise! They know what they're talking about. Their experience far outshines major retailers knowledge and "training". You will not walk out dissatisfied, or being oversold.
They stock a wide range of AV equipment, from TVs, soundbar, home amplifiers and speakers, etc etc.

Very limited parking outside the store on the main road but there is a car park 2 minutes walk around the corner at Victoria Park. £2 for an hour or so. Free Sundays

I have had wonderful experience in the store when i bought the smart tv, i was given very partial advice and the option available. They have damn good customer service, very polite and friendly. I highly recommend it. However i will advise to find suitable place to park if you driving as its hard to find driving space due to its being on the main road.

The shop is set out lovely. The staff are friendly and leave you to look around.
