The doctors and all staff are AMAZING!! Dr. Kraabel saved our dog's life by diagnosing her rare Myasthenia Gravis disease. She is so much better now and we are 110% thankful for all the staff and care at Lien.

I called around to different vets and got a great feeling from the initial call that my pet would be in good hands. I wasn't disappointed. My cat's first appointment was 100% positive. The staff was super sweet and answered all my questions and treated Prince with so much love. I won't go anywhere else!

I seriously cannot think of a way Lien Animal Clinic could improve my past experiences. They have cared for my cat Suave since birth.

We heard wonderful things about this place by family friends and felt it would be the best place to take our 8 year old Berner who was starting to have health issues. Our appointment went fine with the vet and we were very happy to have someone we could go to when we had questions about next moves with specialists. Long story short... they were supposed to call me back... nothing. Then I called back and was supposed to get an email back from the vet... nothing again. I reached out three separate times and each time I heard nothing back. Very disappointed in service.

As new customers/patients, we've been so impressed with Lien Animal Clinic's services - both in the offerings available for appointments (like TeleVet, parking lot medication pick-up) and in the amazing customer service we've received from everyone (quick response time, super helpful, friendly Vets). Taking our cat to Lien Animal Clinic for annual exam and vaccinations was a great choice for us. Staff is very knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Wootton's and his assistant John's approach to our cat was really nice, I haven't seen my cat that much calm and relaxed with someone else before. They gave us valuable recommendations about our cat's health. From my experience with Lien Animal Clinic I could say that they are not after your money, they are after your lovely pet's health. I would definitely recommend them.

I could not be more thrilled to bring my dogs to Lien. All of the vets are very attentive take the time to get to know each dog and understand all of their different personalities. The care and procedures are always done with extreme care and they take the time to explain it thoroughly. If you live in or around West Seattle, this is where you should bring your pets!

We've been going here for 10 years. They've taken care of six of our animals in that time. My only complaint is it seems as soon as we get a vet we like, they move! Staff is efficient, proficient, and professional. They are able to answer my questions. Front desk is very reliable about returning missed calls.

Our family has been using Lien Animal for many years and we are so grateful for the brilliant and caring doctors and staff. Dr Kraabel spent many years keeping my mom’s beloved but medically complex dogs Gracie and Duffy happy and comfortable. Our cat Banjo aka Catibal Lector had a habit of swallowing birds whole and needed several urgent disimpactions. Dr Wolf has treated my cat Noodles in person and via telemedicine, we are very grateful for the prompt and thorough care even in these circumstances. These animals are our children and we trust this clinic 100%.

My 10yr old pup needed life saving surgery and they really made sure I was well informed and updated during the entire process. I've never trusted a vet with the lives of my pets like I do Lien because It was obvious they really care about the wellbeing of their patients.

This is the best vet I have ever been to. They obviously care, always very kind, polite, sometimes it can be a little hard to get a hold of them due to busy times (especially with covid) but other than that absolutely great. Every doctor/vet there has always been very polite, and understanding. When my dog passed away they did absolutely wonderful by me, even sent me a personal "sorry" card signed by all. I'm moving to Idaho next year, and I'm very sad to be leaving such a great vet clinic behind me.

I love the doctors at this Lien Animal Clinic. I have been taking pets there for the past 20+ years and the care is fantastic and the docs seems to truly care about animals. On the other hand, I have been frustrated with the organizational/business side. Not so much to make me stop going there, but I do go with the knowledge that there may well be confusion. The staff are generally supportive, friendly and thoughtful.

I started coming here after my best friend recommend it. I have brought my dogs and cats here for years and the staff is always very friendly. I would recommend it for anyone in the area looking for great service!

The front office/reception is the biggest reason why I will forever take my pet to Lien. Haily (?) was kind, professional and squeezed me in when I desperately needed an appointment. The vets and technicians are also fabulous! The prices are fair and they don’t try to sell you products or services you don’t need.

Dr Wolf is the best! Always so helpful with our big boy.

The entire staff and doctors of Lien Animal Clinic are Great, very professional, will answer any question you have about your pet and what you can do to help your pet feel better.

My pet became very sick and couldn't eat. Covid-19's necessary safety restrictions have overwhelmed animal clinics. However, Lien did everything they could to schedule the surgery asap, despite full schedules. Every person, from intake to surgeon, that we interacted with demonstrated professional competence and extreme compassion. Our pet is doing great. We've been taking our pets to Lien since they were first established due to an excellent reputation from our family of pet parents. Lien is a truly compassionate vet with competitive prices.

I have taken my dog to Lien since she was a pup and we just experienced an older dog health crisis. They were deeply compassionate and immediately responsive to my concerns. The vet was warm, compassionate, professional and diagnosed the problem swiftly and accurately. I am deeply grateful for Lien and everyone on staff. They are special, dedicated professionals.

My dog does not do well with strangers but she's always happy to see Dr. Wolf and team. They take great care of her even though she's very shy and not the best with other dogs on-leash - they're very good with her specific needs.

So thankful to have found Lien! We moved to Seattle from out of state and we're so anxious to find a great vet for our Siberian Husky Maverick. We were fortunate Lien was the first place we decided to try because we have had nothing but great experiences. Within the last six or so months our dog has had multiple issues. Varying from a case of conjunctivitis to a possible auto immune disease, the continuous symptoms had left me extremely worried. But no matter what, every single person that I interacted with at Lien has done nothing but comforted me while trying to get to the bottom of his issues. They have made sure they made time for Maverick every time I've requested an appointment, answered all of my calls and frequent emails (I'm talking at least 3 a week) about symptoms and progress, and above all else they are so thorough with their diagnoses and treatment plans. They have been adamant about doing what is best for him while making sure his treatments are done in the most cost effective way. I am so grateful that they care about him as much as I do. Thank you Dr. Wolf and all of the Lien staff!!! HIGHLY recommend.

They made the no contact vet experience amazingly easy and comfortable. Nothing but praise for the staff and the doctors there after today's experience. Phone calls to check in on next steps before proceeding were exactly what I expected.

Everyone is super nice and helpful. They always answer all of my questions and give really good advice. I've never felt pressured to buy anything and they are not overly expensive.

They are caring, compassionate and practical. They use all kinds of resources to give your pet the best care possible. Honest and straightforward in a way that makes taking the information easy and helps you better understand what is going on with your pet. I work in the animal industry and I have never worked with a vet better than these guys. They take care of all four of my aging dogs well.

We have been going to this clinic for a little over a year now and trust them greatly with our two cats. We also appreciate the way the clinic is handling business during the pandemic. The system they are using feels safe for both the employees and us. We will definitely continue going to Lien for a long time.

They have taken great care of our animals for almost 20 years now, all the way through death. We love the care they provide, they are top notch and very caring. They've also always made room for us when one of our pets has reached the end of their life - it's not something you can really plan for or schedule.

These guys used to be my go-to vet. Treated all my animals well and were exceptionally kind when it came time to let them go. We were living abroad from 2018-2020 and when we returned noticed some unfortunate changes: * Calls for important test results (e.g. does my dog have cancer?) were not returned for days on end. * Early morning drop-off appt. Called at 2:30 for status and found that my girl was left sitting in a kennel for most of the day without having eaten, and was "next in line" to be treated. * I lost a prescription (for incontinence) and called to grab a couple of pills until we could order a refill/replacement. The tech said we'd have to wait 24-48 hours to fill the request. Anyway, it's not the place that it once was. The front office seems badly understaffed, stifled by bureaucracy, and I'm sure are not having an easy time of it - which shows through on their customer interactions.

Caring, friendly staff who know what they're doing. Wonderful vets and techs. Even now, during Covid, they're able to see pets and social distance all at once. They'll sometimes suggest very pricey tests and procedures that...some...may say are overkill, but they do not pressure or push.

They are very kind, knowledgeable and treat your animals as their own.

Was so impressed with our "virtual" appointment the other day for our cat Chewy! We sat out in the parking lot on the phone with the vet while he narrated the whole examination! He was so wonderful, and all the staff were so kind. It was very apparent that they take safety to the highest level. I would recommend Lien Animal Clinic to anyone!

I recently adopted a dog and as new patient the wait is long (if your pet doesn’t have a medical condition that needs immediate attention) but they do a great job to triage and make appointments as soon as posible, everyone is super attentive they have great communication and during the checkup they address all questions and symptoms over the phone providing great information.

We have been a client of Lien for 10 years. They walk this perfect line of professional/warm and caring. We are so happy with them. They pivoted nicely with Covid 19 concerns, and are providing their always attentive care of your pet, with curbside service and extra measures.

I've been going here for 10 years now, and the staff are fabulous! I've also never had any kind of unnecessary procedures added on to my bill, like I've experienced at other places. A great place overall for cats and dogs both.

From adopting a new kitten, to end of life care for our pug, Lien has taken amazing care of our pets. Every vet is thorough and cares passionately about every animal. They have helped us find the right food for an intolerant cat, walked us through caring for issues of senior pets, and supported us when the time finally came to say good bye to our pug. I cannot say enough good things about Lien Animal Clinic.

My husband and I took our very unpredictably and fear based aggressive 1 year old blue heeler in for a wellness exam and the Lien Animal Clinic team did great at working around my puppy’s temperament. Prince needs a basket muzzle for any handler’s protection and a prong collar and I appreciated the non bias, non judgement from the vet techs. Lien Animal clinic’s covid 19 protocols worked well and the veterinarian called my husband and I to come pick up Prince and debrief. Our dog refused to let any handler or the veterinarian touch him without becoming spicy so unfortunately all the DVM was able to do was listen to his heart rate. However my husband and I were still charged $95 as if he had gotten a full wellness exam although the only service that occurred was listening to his heart-so that was a bit discouraging. But needless to say the staff is very friendly, understanding of our dog’s needs and adapts well to his behavioral outbursts while at the clinic.

Really appreciate my first visit with Reggie. Thank you for making it a great experience, despite COVID. You guys rock!

So great and easy to trust with my pets.

My dog, Zoe, is a rescue and extremely leery of going to the veterinarian for anything. She panics and becomes defensive if she’s forced into doing something too quickly, or separated from me. After trying several local veterinarians, I decided that Lien Animal Clinic was the most accommodating. Dr. Wolf was always extremely patient with Zoe and administered vaccines in the exam room, never separating Zoe from me. Zoe was appreciative and while she still didn’t enjoy the experience, the defensiveness was a non-issue. Dr. Wolf knew exactly how to handle the situation. Recently, it came time for Zoe’s annual wellness exam and vaccines. I was reminded via email and phone numerous times. I called and spoke to a staff member about what this looks like mid-pandemic and was nervous to find out that owners are not allowed to accompany their pets inside the clinic. I explained the situation and asked about the possibility of Dr. Wolf administering the vaccines outside, but I was told that wasn’t an option. The staff member wanted me to schedule a visit for that Friday, but I told them that I wasn’t sure and was going to have to think it over. After thinking about it over the weekend, I decided that I was going to trust the staff and Dr. Wolf, so I requested an appointment online for the coming week. The next day I received a text message from a staff member named Danielle, that read, “This is your care team at Lien Animal Clinic. Your appt. request was received. We remain limited in our capacity to deliver wellness services at this time. Do you have any concerns you need addressed or are you ok with being added to the wait list? Please know vaccines have at least a 3 month window of effectiveness past the due dates listed. We are working diligently to triage patient due dates and get everyone on the list scheduled. Thank you for understanding!” I decided to call for clarification, no answer, so I left a voicemail. They called me back later that day and told me that they were unable to schedule an appointment for Zoe at this time, they couldn’t even put anything on the calendar for several months out. I explained what had happened the week before, but I was told things had changed. I even explained that Zoe has a prescription issued by them for Apoquel (allergies / she’ll lick her paws until they’re bleeding) that was recently refilled, but due to expire within the month, and they won’t issue a refill until she has had an annual exam. The person I was speaking to seemed unconcerned and told me there was nothing they could do, and that they were sorry for the inconvenience. Getting Zoe’s allergies under control has been a five year battle and starting over isn’t an option. I told them that if they couldn’t help me I’d need Zoe’s medical records, so I could go elsewhere. They promptly sent the records over and I scheduled an appointment at Lake Union Veterinary Clinic. They said that they were busy, but they could definitely see Zoe within two weeks. They also commented that it was odd that Lien wouldn't refill Zoe’s prescription without an annual exam, but refuse to schedule one. I’ve brought multiple dogs to Lien Animal Clinic for six years. Now it seems that they don’t value my loyalty, or the well-being of my dogs. A once exemplary practice has gone downhill and I’m voting with my feet. I recently adopted another dog, for whom I purchased the Lien “puppy package” for, which I’m regretting now. After she’s spayed we’ll be taking her elsewhere as well. And to top it all off, I’m still receiving reminder emails daily about Zoe’s upcoming needs (can’t seem to unsubscribe). All around disappointing.

We just took our cat here for the first time after moving into the area. Very pleased with the COVID precautions, and found the entire team extremely kind, professional, and efficient! We appreciated Dr. Larsonberg’s thorough and helpful explanation about treatment options for our little girl, and we got expert advice while not feeling pressure to make any particular decisions. Will certainly be taking both our cats back for their checkups & treatment here!

I’ve been taking my dog here since I brought him home, and have received great care from the facility. They are friendly, have great COVID policies, and most of the practitioners will call DURING the exam and walk you through it. It would be great to do a FaceTime call to see the doctor and assistant and your dog as they exam them, but maybe something to work toward and look forward to. I bought the puppy package, and have only paid for one exam fee-which I thought was strange. So get clarification on what is included in the puppy package prior to purchase to know what you are receiving. I thought Dr. Wolf to be rather cold and impersonal compared to her colleagues, Dr. D and Dr. Siepel. I had concerns about paw chewing-everything else regarding his behavior is normal. And she insisted on addressing his non-issue potty training “because it works so much better, and her dogs do it.” As a health care professional, I understand offering advice and a variety of solutions when a behavior is concerning. But I felt that her comments were rather insulting and insinuating that the routine I have set up for my dog was “less than.” Impeccable bedside manner can make or break an experience with a patient and their families, and I was disappointed with her communication. Dr. D and Dr. Siepel are absolutely incredible. Both have called while performing the exam, answered all my questions and have met me personally while retrieving my pup. I so appreciate their dedication to all of the animals, quality care, and exceptional customer service. I always feel very comfortable leaving my little guy in their hands!

Really caring staff and no BS. Check in process is easy and wait time is less than 5 min on a normal day . I really liked that the vet explained the issue my dog was having in bit more details rather than just prescribing a medicine . Everyone was super kind to Bella and showed so much love ????! There are limited parking spots at the clinic but plenty of street parking available . Lastly I appreciated the follow up call to check how’s her ear infection :) Bella was back to being a happy dog after few days of treatment ????

My dog Natasha and I have been coming to Lien Animal Clinic since I first adopted her five years ago. She's a reactive dog with issues, but they accommodate her so well, and with a great sense of humor and gentle care (including calling her muzzle a "party hat", which I love). Recently, she had to have a few teeth and an eye tumor removed, and even with restrictions from COVID-19, they were so fast and responsive throughout the entire process and took extra care at discharge, including answering any follow up questions I had and checking in on her recovery the week after. We absolutely love Dr. Seipel too. I couldn't recommend a better veterinary facility than Lien Animal Clinic.

Excellent as usual. They have instituted a protocol for maintaining social distance and it worked great! Same excellent medical care but doing a great job of keeping everyone safe!

This Vet is awesome, and I must admit to never giving 5 star ratings - I always think there is room for improvement... BUT Lien Animal Clinic is the real deal. They are filled with know how and compassion.
