Dr. D was incredibly helpful and thorough in her descriptions of care, as was John the vet tech who gave us the canned pumpkin suggestion. I was also pleasantly surprised to hear a message on my phone from the vet checking in on Miley! I heard good things from a friend who is a patient, and after having a less-than-stellar experience at another clinic, I knew I needed to check y'all out. 12/10 - such help; much awesome :D

Eleven years ago, I was on the search for a Vet we felt comfortable with and who my pets loved. We tried three places before we found Lien. And, we never turned back! They were with us during the loss of three beloved pets and with our current two dogs. They care for our pets as if they were their own.

Very knowledgeable staff. Comfortable atmosphere for pets and their owners. No long waits in waiting room. Very customer service oriented and give you the time you need on the phone. Doctors are kind, courteous and truly care plus they're excellent doctors and keep up with the most current information. I've never felt like I was being rushed through and got all my questions answered.

I can't say enough good things about this clinic. They're always willing to try to squeeze you in last minute and the staff has been so friendly. I saw multiple vets here and was happy with each one. I did one of the hardest things I've ever had to do and put down my cat of 20 years and I couldn't ask for a more supportive environment. They made a house call and helped her pass peacefully. I got a card in the mail signed from all of the doctors who took care of my cat and many of other employees. I can't recommend them enough

We followed our vet to this practice and its truly a great clinic. Its a bit of a drive for us but its worth it for quality care. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. Our pups get very stressed at the vet (like most) and they do everything they can to acclimate themselves with our pups to help ease their anxiety. We love our vet, Dr.Wolf, and the practice as a whole. Thanks for caring! I'd say the only problematic thing can be parking but most of the time we make it work.

When my kitty started drinking more and peeing more, I knew something was up. I hadn't established a new vet since I moved to Burien but had read nothing but great reviews for Lien Animal Clinic, so I scheduled an appointment. Dr. Wolf was kind, personable, and knowledgeable, and I liked the way she spoke to and handled my cat. That stuff's important. The labwork showed hyperthryoidism and Dr. Wolf has us on a treatment plan that we hope will end up being curative. I'm extremely pleased with the service I've received from everyone I've interacted with thus far at Lien. I especially appreciate being emailed my cat's full lab results rather than just being given a diagnosis over the phone. Knowledge is power, and sharing knowledge helps make us better animal caretakers. Thanks, Dr. Wolf!

My friend and companion Jack the friendly dog developed a lack-of-mobility issue in his hindquarters. It gave me a fright - Jack had a serious hip injury at age 1, now 12 years ago. I was concerned he might be done walking much. The vet at Lien worked him over, first lightly and, as Jack expressed no discomfort, fairly aggressively - more than I would have had courage to do - and more than Jack would have tolerated from me. The diagnosis was age and probably a little arthritis. Great relief on my part and great respect for Lien. They have served me well for more than 20 years.

We've been taking our dogs to Lien Animal Clinic for a few years now, three different dogs. Every vet, vet tech, receptionist, and any other employee we interact with there has been fantastic. They truly care about animal health and wellbeing, and it shows. I would highly recommend Lien to anyone!

If you’re looking for compassionate care, you should look elsewhere. My dog of nearly 14 years was being treated here for the past few months. Things took a dramatic downturn a couple weeks ago, and a specific Doctor and I had a conversation about what I was thinking about for her eventual final days. TLDR, communication and facts weren’t properly known, and the house call that was supposed to happen with the vet treating her did not because the vet couldn’t leave the office due to understaffing on the weekend. This despite having a conversation a few days ago where the doctor gave me their work schedule in order to prepare for this difficult time. We even talked about giving as much notice as possible - which I have about 24 hours. Hell, I even suggested maybe a house call could be done after their office closed at 130 so she could leave the earth with someone who knew and treated her. Still a solid “no” from the vet practice and doctor, this time without any answer as to why they couldn’t make this accommodation.
Upset is an understatement. These folks lack basic compassion during the most difficult time. Thankfully the folks at Peaceful Pet Transitions and Resting Waters made up where they fell extremely short.
While I appreciate the care she got from Dr. Baker and the staff being generally compassionate before this awful last experience, please look elsewhere, especially if your furry friend is not doing well.

Dr Tweed & all the staff at Lien are always nothing short of wonderful to my dogs and I. It is apparent that they all have a lot of love for family members of the furry persuasion & it shows. Combine that with their knowledge, expertise, and professionalism and I can't imagine entrusting my babies with any other clinic in the city.
As an update... since my previous main vet moved on from this practice, and some new fur-balls have been introduced into my personal wild animal kingdom home (can anyone say COVID kitty?!?!), I have had the opportunity to see the other vets and techs at Lien and have been absolutely impressed with every single one.
The entire team is always amazing! They have taken the absolute best care of my furry family members. Over the years i have experienced the tragedy and inevitable horror of losing one of my babies and not only did Lien give my dogs and cats the best care imaginable, but they have been so kind and considerate to me as well, sending cards, even flowers once, to show that they truly care. I really could not ask for more. Thank you!

The Lien Clinic crew is solid! They're thorough, patient and generally good humored. :-) Once, during a health scare, as in my pup was occupying every other thought in the course of the day and nite, I could not have been more grateful for Dr. Woof and her assistant. They know 'fur family values' through and through. You know what I'm talking about. Yep, they know the parents/guardians of their patients would pretty much die for them and they know its not your fault. Its just our job to keep our animal family members alive, comfortable and healthy. Definitely, I could say a bunch of other positive excellent stuff, but this is from the core of my being. Its the Year of the Dog! Be a good guardian and bring your loved ones to the Lien Clinic :-)

Ive been to this clinic twice now with my cat and they've consistently been efficient, friendly and kind. My most recent visit was with Dr. Wolf who was very sweet and though my boy didn't need anything as it was just a check up it was still a great visit. Also shout out to the wonderful front-office staff and vet-tech for doing a great job as well. Overall a fantastic location and I'm happy to bring my cat or any other pets I may have in the future here.

I LOVE Lien Animal Clinic. I have been going there for a couple years now and they are always super accommodating. My dog is very reactive around other dogs so going to the vet is a really challenging experience for us. The staff at Lien always work with me to make sure we get in and out of the office in a manner that works for my dog's training program. I have had nothing but positive interactions with the clinicians, doctors, and staff.

Lein is amazing. The seem to only hire the most knowledgeable staff. They fit us in last minute when our dog ate a bunch of sticks and wasn’t feeling too well. He’s an anxious rescue and gets nervous in unfamiliar situations. Dr. Wooton and the vet assistants were so patient and went above and beyond to make sure Leo was comfortable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

I have been with Lien Animal Clinic for a few years now. My dog has problems particular to her breed (Seizure activity and gastroentitis). Even though lien has referred 'specialists' for her issues because they are not equipped to deal with them, they are now requiring a paid annual visit to continue with routine sickness prevention (routine immunizations, heartguard, etc...) Any clinic that requires a paid annual visit on a schedule determined by the clinic and not that of the pet's or pet owner's need and which would subject the pet to undue stress possibly causing additional seizure activity is a very POOR clinic indeed!! They are NOT the same Lien Clinic that was so caring to me when they were making lots of money off of my pet. Now that I no longer need anything from them other than the occasional nail trim and routine prescriptions and immunizations, they are not so caring unless I pay up for an unnecessary annual 'wellness' exam...They have plenty of sick pets so I'm sure they will not miss me or my little girl or any other pets I may have in the future.
UPDATE: RESPONSE FROM OWNER IN LAYMEN'S TERMS: 'WE DON'T GIVE A F* ABOUT YOU OR YOUR PET'S NEEDS. WE HAVE ALL HER MEDICAL RECORDS AND KNOW YOU'VE PAID FOR OFFICE VISITS AND EXAMS AND TESTS BEFORE, WE KNOW SHE'S AN OLDER DOG (12 YRS OLD) AND CANNOT MAKE ANY MONEY OFF OF PROVIDING LIFE SAVING DISEASE PREVENTION MEDICATION OR RENEWING GABAPENTIN FOR SEIZURE CONTROL AND COMFORT. PAY UP FOR AN UNNECESSARY OFFICE VISIT AND WE DON'T CARE IF SHE GOES INTO A SEIZURE WHILE SHE'S HERE BECAUSE SHE IS SO STRESSED....

Loved Lein Animal Clinic! I made a new patient/problem visit appointment for my cat. I called on Tuesday and there were next day appointments available. At the time of our visit, we were roomed right away, had a veterinary tech greet us within a few minutes of rooming to get a history, and the vet was in a short time later. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, the evaluation and treatment plan for Newman was explained well. Thank you!

We've been bringing our pets there for about a year and a half. We came to them the first time because our rat was very ill. They treated us with nothing but compassion and empathy when we had to put him down. They allowed us to hold him while they gave him the injections. They treated us just as kindly when his brother passed away a few months later.
They've also treated our cats extremely well and listened to our concerns about them, whether it's related to health or behavior. One of our cats actually enjoyed his visit there because of all the friendly attention he got from the vet and the assistants. While our others weren't as thrilled to be there, they were treated with the same compassionate care and attention.
One great thing about the vets at Lien is that they aren't afraid to talk about cost. They're up front with their fees, and they're willing to listen and work with your financial concerns. They don't take payments, but they will advise the best course of action based on your financial situation. They could have pushed us for an expensive treatment for our cat's urinary tract infection, but instead they advised a more cost-effective, conservative course of treatment (which ended up working fine). The clinic's schedule is definitely more convenient than other vets as well. The only quibble I have is that a couple of members of the front desk staff can be a little abrupt when checking out, but that has never spoiled the experience for me.

Long established business privately owned and not a branch of a chain which to me is real plus. I have been taking pets there there since the 60's! The staff has changed many times through the years but the care and professionalism has always been of highest quality. Everyone has always been kind and sweet to my pets and treated them with such care.

I love the doctors and vet assistants at Lien!! The online appointment system is great. They get right back to us by email and/or phone. We live on Vashon and they do their best to accommodate our scheduling needs. I also like that they print us itemized estimates/costs for care BEFORE treating our animals so that we are not surprised by how much we will have to pay. And, I am happy that they are a less expensive option than the clinic on Vashon. The only downsides to Lien are the size of their parking lot and that their only payment plan option is Care Credit. Otherwise, I am so grateful for all they have done for our 4 pets! Oh...and I love their extended/evening hours. Thank you Lien doctors and staff!

Great with rabbits! It can be hard to find a vet that knows rabbits well, but both of the vets we visited knew rabbits very well. Not to mention, the staff was very friendly and professional, you could tell they genuinely cared for our pets.
