We have been taking our best pooch, Bruno, here for about 2 years now, and we could not be happier with the service and care.

We've taken our cats here for several years now and nothing but the best care has been taken with them. They have always respected our wishes and have been helpful for us humans as well. We have lost two of our three cats to old age recently and Lien doctors and staff have been very kind and sensitive during the process.

They have gone above and beyond for us for about 16 years. So much appreciation for the care they’ve given our slew of pets over the years! From strange inner ear problem for our inherited black lab to doggy breast cancer in our oldest Shepherd to furry well loved kitty cats and peaceful goodbyes to our dogs. We can’t say thank you enough!!!

We are so fortunate to have found this clinic and will always drive across town for service no matter the inconvenience. They are caring and compassionate to the animals, but also treat the owners with patience and understanding while offering solutions that are often dramatically less expensive than other clinics. We recently said goodbye to our treasured dog and Lein was unbelievably kind and made the experience as “good “ as it could possibly go. They treated us and our dog as though we were a close family member or friend which was a comfort. Highly, highly recommend Lein to any pet owner!

We brought my first cat here in 1978, but my grandmother had been taking our family dogs and cats here long before that. Each and every pet we have ever had comes here. The physicians and staff are kind and courteous. I think there is no better, safer, cleaner, friendlier place in all of Seattle for our fur babies. Needless to say, we are not the only locals feeling this way, and they are busy! It is best to schedule your annual exams and teeth cleanings well in advance.

I LOVE this place! Everyone is super friendly! Dr. Brailie Tweed is a specialist for Bulldogs! She also give reasonable tips and advices for my puppy's health. All in all we had a great experience here.

It was perfect! Given her issues being ushered into the back door and into the exam room adjacent to the back door was exactly what was needed. Thanks so much!

Dr. Seipel did a great job of setting me up a path of care for my two new kittens. I now have a schedule and a plan and the kitten package is reasonable.

Great care. I found them when I moved to Seattle and tried to stay with the same clinics I used in CA (but they were so expensive here). I gave Lien a try and I've been going there since, even though I'm not in the area anymore. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and friendly.

The doctor and staff seemed pleasant enough and got me in even though I missed the appt time due to the cat hiding under the bed. However, I don't know that I got a good diagnosis, and the liquid antibiotics is ridiculously hard to give. I would rather have had pills. And it was $42 for one week. I seriously think I got ripped off. I just google it and I could have bought it OTC for less than half for liquid and only $1.42 for pills. I will be in the market for a new animal hospital for next time.

Our dogs hate going to the vet but Lien makes it a bearable experience for them and shows them the patience that other vets do not.

This place was so friendly. They were able to work in a sick dog that I was watching for friends on short notice. They were super friesnly and helpful, as i had 2 other dogs with me that i was watching too. They have a friendly follow up call to check on Charlie once his meds were finished to make sure all was still good. Great people and service here.

I took my newly adopted adolescent cats in for a well-check and their final set of vaccinations. The staff was friendly, the clinic clean, and they appeared to handle animals well. More on that later. I'm not originally from Seattle, and I experienced some serious sticker shock. Their prices seem to be in line for the area, though. The main reason I'm not giving the clinic five stars is that they did not let me be present or even observe from a distance when they vaccinated the cats. They take animals into a central area to administer vaccinations. OK, I can see that that might be more efficient, make it easier to keep track of medications, keep things clean, or whatever, but when they took the cats out they pulled the exam room door to, leaving me inside. So I re-opened the door and stood, still inside the exam room, to watch. They told me to go back inside and over to the other side of the exam table (out of the line of sight.) At least they didn't close the door again. What's up with that? There shouldn't be anything going on that they aren't OK with me observing. When I remarked on this to my other pet-owning friends, they didn't see anything unusual about it. Well, it was a first for me in 35 years of taking pets for veterinary care in several major US cities. Long story short, I haven't been back.

We've been going to Lien Animal Clinic for 12 years. Dr. Kraabel and the entire staff at Lien deliver excellent care with integrity. They've helped our dog with numerous ailments from extreme allergies to cancer and torn ligaments. We trust their recommendations and patience in explaining diagnoses and treatment options. We also appreciate their willingness to collaborate with specialists and holistic vets.

Very friendly, understanding staff that have been a joy to work with. I have a little blind dog that is aggressive toward strangers in order to "protect" me (she's adopted - slowly changing these behaviors), but they understand that and calmly guide her to the back of the building where she will be more timid (out of my presence) instead of immediately slapping a muzzle on her (which would make things so much worse!). They were also who I turned to when I had to put down my childhood dog, and they were absolutely wonderful and kind during that emotional process. I still plan on coming here even after I move out of West Seattle.

If you are looking for a new vet, look no further. After many years of looking for for a quality, fairly-priced vet in Seattle....I have found them. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I never felt like I was getting swindled for extra cash or feeling as though they weren't listening to me regarding the issues about my pet. The facility was clean (the last one i went to was filthy with mysterious pills on the floor for any animal to swallow) Highly recommended!

Dr. Nick Paulson has been an excellent vet to our dogs. We were very loyal to our previous vet of 15 years in the Southwest. After moving to the Seattle area a while back, we have been fortunate enough to find him. He is very caring, takes the time to answer all of our questions, and our dogs like him!

We have brought two generations of our feline family to Lien Animal Clinic. They are open 7 days a week so it is easy to get an appointment and they are always on time. They care for you animal family like they would for your human family. And in worst case scenario, when it is time to say good bye no one could be more sensitive. They light a candle in the waiting room letting people know someone is saying goodbye to a dearly loved pet. They do this to ask those in the waiting room to please be quiet out of respect. Then everyone at the clinic sends a condolence card that they all sign. Very moving.

I felt like Chuy and I received wonderful care from the moment I arrived...at a reasonable price. I chose to look elsewhere for Chuys care when, after repeated attempts to be seen at my previous vet of nearly 12 years, they could not make the effort to find time to see him for a time-sensitive condition - leaving me to deal with it on my ow . Somehow you were able to find time within 48 hours. For a new unseen patient. That spoke volumes to me. I realize that a long-term relationship is built upon a foundation of many stones. But this 1st one was very well placed. Thank you, Steve

They have been our go-to vet clinic for over 3 years now and are one of the best we've ever had (I've grown up with animals my whole life and have seen my fair share of vets). Our furbabies include rats and cats and the clinic has always treated both with the same amount of care and love. I've never encountered an unfriendly vet or staff member here and I'm personally gratful to them for all the work they've done. I recommended them to a friend who now also swears by their services. Unfortunately, we will be moving soon, but our next vet clinic will have big shoes to fill.

We visited Lien on the recommendation of our old vet that was just a little too far away after a move. Setting up an appointment for our two pups was easy, and Lien is in a great location w/ their own parking lot. Once we got into the actual Vet stuff though, the service was sub-par, and a bit troubling. The vet that helped us was overly 'mushy' for lack of a better description. She spoke in that cooing voice that you'd use when talking to a baby, and taking 10x as long as it should to explain everything. She would halfway listen to us while we asked a question and then launch into a long winded explanation that had nothing to do with our question. Tedious at best. She was really good at up-selling us on products and services throughout, though. The actual area where they administer procedures is directly outside of the exam room you wait in, and you can hear EVERYTHING. They tried to take my little Pomeranians blood from his neck, and had four people holding him down while he screamed and struggled. Someone came into our exam room from this area when it was happening, and we got a full view of this scene... Super traumatic to hear, let alone see. They said the vein in his leg was too small to use. A good friend is a vet tech for a reputable emergency animal hospital and after taking a look, confirmed his leg vein was extremely visible and accessible and should have been used 100%. The Lien vet said we should drug my dog to take his blood, or have me hold him while they do it. Again, my vet tech friend thought this was ridiculous and completely inappropriate. Next, they MIXED UP MY DOGS VACCINES. Luckily I caught this before they administered them... The response - Oh gosh, you're right! Sorry about that. It was just an all around bad experience. This could have just been an off-day, but with one thing after another, I've arrived at the conclusion that there are some major short comings at Lien. We have moved on to another vet who drew blood from my Poms leg with no problem, gave us straight forward answers to our questions, and left us feeling like our pups were in good hands.
