I can generally get my DIY needs here and the staff are very helpful. This is one of B&Qs older stores so it must be popular to still be open. It also seems to retain its staff. So the staff that work there, that have been there a while, will have gained a lot of experience and knowledge about the different tools and materials that they sell. They can often advise you how to go about doing different jobs. It would be very helpful if they could cut timber like the superstores do. It would save us travelling to Leicester or Coventry.

Not the biggest B&Q but just about gets most jobs catered for. Staff are friendly and happy to help. Often the rear of the store is set out for seasonal stuff but it seems to be early well stocked.

Want to give more stars but as I was sighed at by the man serving me on the checkout because I accidentally removed my card from the machine to early. He also started to serve other people whilst he was still dealing with my honest mistake, then he had the audacity to ask me to do a feedback survey and rate his performance. On a plus a the gentleman I asked for help was really helpful.

I like B&Q Hinckley. They have a small selection of border flowers and plants. They have a good selection of diy products , from interior doors and lighting , to cement and power tools.

Large diy store. Very pleasant staff. But stuff is here there and everywhere. Very high shelves and seems to me to be more suited to trades people. Not many plants for sale and not very well cared for. Many are wilted through lack of light or water.
This store seems more like a warehouse than a store.

I have a trade account with these which like many builders, think is a waste of time. There are no benefits what so ever. Unlike Wickes, who give 10% discount and better access to stock and delivery options. Also B&Q rarely have what you need in stock unless you're prepared to travel for miles.

Great store friendly staff but be careful if your looking for something specific, 1 in every 3 journeys i make to Hinckley B&Q requires me to go to the BIGGER store at BINLEY WOODS (Coventry M69). I manage a business and so use B&Q 5-6 times a month, on one occasion the B&Q web site showed 6 Power Jet Washes in stock at Hinckley, on arrival... ZERO another trip to Coventry.. Great Staff limited stock...

Not the range I was expecting to see, particularly when it came to any kind of paint that wasn't interior. Queues tend to build up very quickly and some members of staff were a little slow on the "till staff please respond" call.
