I wanted to buy some timber, cut to specific size. I rang and checked, they confirmed they do. After I got there, seems only ply and other sheet material cut to size. Very unhappy.

Yesterday I gave the Chiswick store a 1-Star rating; my experience today at the Acton branch was so completely different I have to give it 5 stars. This is especially for the wonderful member of staff who operates the timber cutting service - thank you so very much!

Called to see when the timber cutting was closing. They said 7.45pm. Showed up at 6 after a long journey for it to be out of order...workers probably couldn't be bothered.

Even though the items I was looking for (it was more than one!!!!) were showing in stock on website, all of the staff working there ( Including store manager!!!) told me it’s not!!!! I had to look for it myself and beg them to pick it from the top shelf!!!!!
Also the information that are shown on display are not matching the reality!!!!
And I have been told if I want to order an item I have to go to the store that has it in stock and order from there! (It was only 10 miles away)
NONE of the staff was even trying to help and they were laughing that I’m looking only for items hard to find!!!!
I won’t recomend it to anyone ever!!
