Worst B&Q I've ever been to. I bought soil improver, which suppose to be in 3 for £10.00 offer. In the trade counter the discount does not work. I've been directed to the customer service counter. It take 45 minutes to buy few bags of compost. Well done B&Q!

Awful. Queuing system yet the guy on the door let's people just walk in. Website shows stick.levelsnof items over 8p yet staff say 'we'll put it on shelves in 2 days'. One way system makes no sense and doesn't work. Shambles. Left the whole order in the end to go elsewhere.

I don't know what is happening with B&Q or actually what is going on with the staff in each B&Q I visited during a last couple of months. Do it yourself is accurately describes this chain because if you expecting a help from a staff, then you expecting too much. First of all, you have to find someone who is willing and able to help you (you know, a lunch, mobile or colleague's headache is more important than a customer) and then, if you are lucky, this person will help you to find what you need BUT, please never, really NEVER ask anything about this particular product, because this person is probably 40% from different department, 50% it's his/her first day here or 10% it's new product, or if you are really lucky, then this person will read everything from the box or pack including a country where this product was made. So I wish you good luck and don't forget before you walk in this shop, you have to Do It Yourself!!!!
