Restaurant was awful. You have to order on line or wait half a day for someone to take your order. Then wait the other half a day for food which is below par and expensive. It used to be really nice and now it's awful. People working there so slow as well. Never again

Large garden centre with extensive range of plants and related garden products. Good aquatic centre too though more expensive than others. Has a decent restaurant too.

Amazing as a garden centre was not impressed with cafe by having to wait 25 minutes having to ask staff to serve our table the meet and greet was OK chips were cold staff very interested in their own plans for the evening was going to leave but grandson was hungry

We purchased the Alton Manor bench on the 26th July and was told it would take four to five weeks to be delivered. It arrive yesterday (31st July), yes surprised, it had to be put together, that when we hit an issue, the instructions weren't clear and there were no holes guidance for where the screws should go.
I phoned the garden centre and was put through to Josh, what a star you have Polhill. He and colleague have come out today, to put it together. Even they struggled a bit.
Also I would like to say how safe my wife and myself feel in the garden centre when visiting.

A huge and extremely comprehensive garden centre. Abundance of free parking, two internal restaurants, a large butchers, grocery store, indoor plants section, huge outdoor selection of plants, trees & ornaments etc. An aquatic centre. A huge range of gardening tools, BBQ section, garden furniture, clothing, shoes etc etc. Everything is well priced. By far the largest and best we have visited to date.

Lovely family place to go. Fantastic childrens area and not bad prices. £2 a go on each activity. Theres aqua boats, go- karts , crazy golf and also a climbing area that's free.
Lovely plants, fresh food produce to buy and a lovely restaurant to eat in either inside or outside.

So much to see. Not just buy. Tropical fish area offers incredible array of fish. If you cannot find the plant you are looking for, it probably doesn't exist. In the UK at least. Two areas to eat good food. The food shop has everything you may need for any visitors. Fresh or frozen. Frozen fruit and pies are really good. Children enjoy the visit if you can keep up with them not wanting to miss anything. Christmas themes on display. Very tempting.

The systems in place due to the pandemic are confusing and not clearly signposted . Food section completed blocked off with long walk around from entrance to get to it. Apart from that good selection of items. Restaurant trace and track worked OK if staff assisted a lot of the confused queue

Somethings can be expensive just be aware of what you buy. Great kids area golf quad bikes boats and small park. Food quite good. Fairly good selection of plants. Mostly covered so good if raining. Staff today at till had no customer service. This is unusual though. Staff in flower area outside are always helpful. Parking can be a bit difficult at times although there is loads of parking spaces. Food shop OK. Butcher's always friendly and helpful. Prices appear to be quite competitive. Meat good quality.

Have massively improved their stock range. Do have good covid measures in place and one of the rare shops taking cash atm. Only knocked a star off as it was busy at times and meant it felt unsafe

This place is blinding it's got loads of easy parking as it gets very busy at weekends I went mid week and another on a very busy Sunday it's got car wash outside and a sea food stall inside pot plants,fruit and veg,sweets,cakes,cheese,flour,tea,coffee,tins and jars,then there's the butchers wow amazing range of meats and poultry they also have a restaurant and separate coffee bar if you just want tea/coffee with a cake,then they also sell clothes,shoes,outdoor wear,and other bits and pieces then outside undercover plants trees,shrubs etc,toilets and disabled toilets on site you need lots of time to look around as it is huge.its got everything you need for your garden

Love shopping here, great selection of fresh and frozen foods, plus some interesting things imported from the U.S. (especially the Arizona canned drinks)
They have adapted to the social distancing guidelines well and you can safely shop here.

Ordered some plants and compost to be delivered during Covid 19 lockdown. Website was really easy to use and clear. Delivered 2 days later and plants were lovely. My small garden looks beautiful now. Fabulous service and fabulous value for money. Would highly recommend this service.
