A lovely experience. Well stocked and unlike other nurseries peat free soil sold. As an environmentally conscious gardener I no longer use peat and garden organically as much as possible.

Thought the prices might be little heavy, but the plants look to be top quality so it might be better to pay a bit more (John Ruskin said something similar).
There are plenty of helpful assistants so no problems finding what you are looking for.

We went to the Farmers' market. Got some delicious vegetarian food, and super fresh vegetables, but the meat lady was not there and there were very few stalls. They will be open again on the 19th December. Let's hope for more stalls!

Ist time we have been over to Coolings since the start of covid. Really pleasant...plenty of hand sanitising stations...Arthurs didnt fail to please...lovely coffee and fruit scone....always something new. Staff were really helpful

A comprehensive collection of a huge range of plants and trees. Excellent variety of Japanese Acers. Shop full of everything a gardener needs. Didn't have time to sample the cafe as the queue a bit long.

Couldn’t of asked for a better service or cake. I requested the cake last minute and Jenny was able to make my mum an amazing 50th birthday cake. It was rose gold with a lovely horse theme. The cake was chocolate and it tasted lovely and light. I will definitely contact her again for another cake! :)

Really lovely garden centre with loads of flowers. They also have an outside restaurant with seating which was closed due to COVID 19 but I'm sure it'll be lovely when open! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it's quite pricey but it's really lovely!
