Very positive experience. I'd highly recommend this garage. Diagnosed my audis problem (egr valve), ordered the part and fixed it, my car drives perfectly now. What more can I say?

Avoid at all costs they are top drawer scam artists. Went there to replace a cigarette lighter fuse, simple job but they charged me £30 just to tell me it needed replacing which I already knew and another 40 for replacement. They dont tell you that even the simplest check on your car is an instant minimum £25 cost but instead have it written in small print in their office. Generally rude and unfriendly staff who don't seem to care at all and charge extortionate prices.

High Charge for just looking at the vehicle around £61, ridiculous charge which they failed to mention before when booking car in, small sign on paper mentions this charge but the desk was full of paper work on the day I took it in, so the sign was covered. They charged me to tell me what I already told them was wrong with the car. I've worked in a garage myself previously and this place is a scam avoid entirely.

Modern high street EXTORTION at its finest. Only use them if you have a bulging wallet. The garage offered to price what was clearly a leaky coolant bottle that needed replacing. Upon receiving a call quoting £207 and warned it could INCREASE further if they hit any issues I decided not have them carry out the work. £207 is the part made of GOLD! Upon picking up my car I was CHARGED initially £36 just for them telling me what was wrong! I knew what was wrong with it. How can I be charged for them telling me what it would cost. I managed to negotiate down to £20.88 for something I was NEVER told would cost me. AVOID this garage at all cost, just a local GANG SCAMMING innocent people

Do not use this garage. Day after we had the car back, had to get the AA out as car was leaking diesel. They hadn't fixed the injector properly. There is now also a crack in the windscreen that was 100% not there when we took the car in. The garage will not accept responsibility. Avoid this garage

The best independent VAG mechanics in the area. Tom and the team offer dealership level servicing at independent prices. They also offer air conditioning service and electrical repairs including Mot's, servicing a collection service and a courtesy car when booked in advance.

A really friendly team of mechanics offering a really friendly reliable service. I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring car repairs, I am a bit of a girly girl and I feel like in the past some other garages have tried to rip me off because of this! But these guys are great! They take the time to explain things to me and I do feel that they genuinely give me the best possible price on repairs.

Very impressed. Popped by with a dashboard light and dodgy acceleration, they diagnosed and reset some electronics within 10 minutes for free. A while later, the problem reoccurred. They looked at it again for free and ordered a part. It turned out that whilst looking at it again, the problem had gone away. They advised me not to have the part replaced. Trustworthy and reliable.

I took my Audi A6 into leicester Audi and paid £120.00 diagnostic charge to find out my front braking loom need changing I told them not to bother and went away. Couple of weeks later I booked in at lion garage and was told on first inspection it was not the loom but pads and discs were need at a cost of £295.00 inc Vat. I said ok he went away and started the work while I waited in the waiting room a short time later he walked back into the waiting room and said please follow me to your/ Audi on arriving at the car which was still on the ramps with the brakes in bites he said that some how ? the brake sensor had got to the front of the pad and was wearing on the disc and the pads were ok and only thing that need changing was the sensor at a cost of £36. He could of just carried on with the original price quoted I would have been no wiser. So Mr Leicester Audi brake loom indeed we will be speaking very soon re compensation of my £120 diagnostic charge. I would like to say a big thank you to lion garage in putting back a bite of faith in a honest garage my future business is coming your way now on.

Standard pedal box replacement for my VW Polo. Now don't get me wrong the quality of work completed for this job I can't fault, but it's what followed after that has prompted me to write this review. Later that day once I left work and got to my car I can't unlock my driver door due to a magically broken locking mechanism, now I realise why my car was left unlocked at the garage upon collection! Rung the garage the next morning with the conclusion that accidents happen and this damage occurred while the repairs were being carried out. After requesting for it be looked and fixed free of charge, their only response was to state "We wouldn't have gone near that" and that I’ll need to pay for repairs even though I locked my car before handing them the keys... So they were the last people to successfully unlock the car. 10 miles later my clutch bite point drops to the floor, and I later find they haven't even refitted the clutch cable properly! Misunderstanding the use of flexible rubber spaces and incorrectly sized washers! A very dangerous mistake, which could of stopped me from being able to disengage my clutch which could of cause an accident! Now these guys have done great work in the past, but £300 later and I find myself fixing mistakes and things they’ve done wrong and buying and fitting parts they’ve broken… Safe to say I won’t be going back!

Good friendly and helpful garage. Great for owners of older VAG cars. Used them for elderly parents MoT and was very happy with costs. Just used them again today for parents Passat. They rang to list issues found and said it probably wasn't worth fixing. They helped me with managing my parent's (he has dementia) expectations. I couldn't have asked for better help with a difficult sitation. Thanks.

I use this garage for my VW all the time. They have always been very good, on time and to quote. If they quote for a major job (ie radiator) and it turns out to be something smaller (ie hose) they will just replace the small bit and save you the money. I would give them the full 5 stars but I sometimes find them a tiny bit pricey for my tight pocket but at the end of the day you get what you pay for and the work is always to a high standard that you may not get at a cheaper garage.

I took my Audi TT here last year which was using too much oil and had the engine management light on, they told me the car was misfiring and said it needed a new coil pack. They charged me around £400 for this, I picked the car up all seemed ok. When I started it the following morning, I drove it down the road and it cut out, the car had to go back again, this time they changed the start plugs, I was ringing them constantly to find out when my car was ready both times my car was in there. After they finally changed the start plugs they rung and said the car was still misfiring so I'll have to take it to Audi as they don't have the right equipment to do anything else to it. When I picked the car up they tried to charge me for the plugs they changed which didn't even sort my car, I refused to pay for it. When I actually took the car to Audi one fault that shown up was that the plugs where now genuine Audi ones so they had to be replaced again. I find this absolutely disgusting considering the ones they took off were Audi ones and put new cheap ones on and tried charging me full wack for them. I would never take my car here again.
