Had a problem with the heating/cooling on my car. They discovered a bodged wiring job from the previous owner. Fixed the fault now working perfectly. They spent almost a days labour finding the fault but still did it at very good price.

I first went to this garage after being told by Halfords that it would cost me £3000 to fix my car and if I don’t get it fixed then I shouldn’t drive it at all. I went to performance cars for a second opinion and they fixed the issue within minutes (free of charge)!!! My car has been fine ever since. I came back for my MOT and they were honest and great to talk to.
They say that they treat people how they want to be treated. Simple.

Excellent service. Popped in a week ago after a big chain said they couldn't sort my air con out (didn't even try). I turned up without an appointment and even though they were really busy, Shaun (?) tried a couple of quick fixes to get it working there and then. It didn't work but booked me in for a time and day that suited me and got it sorted pretty quickly. Super friendly, knowledgeable and great value for money. 1000 times better than any chain garage and it's family run so great to support local businesses. Will be going back for any other problems and routine maintenance. Thoroughly recommended.

I called Performance Cars of Loughborough when I was concerned about my car failing due to rust. The owner was really friendly and told me to bring down the car for him to have a look at. He took a look around the car and told me the areas it would fail all for free! I would recommend this company to anyone, brilliant service!

Could not recommend enough
Was stranded in the Loughborough area and every other garage was unwilling to help me with my flat battery. One phone call to Shaun (half an hour before they were due to close) and his response was ... no problem I’ll get the battery ordered and I’ll be out to you ASAP , within 30 minutes I was back on the road to carry on my journey.
It’s hard to find a trust worthy mechanic and person in this day and age but I was lucky to find this rare one

Great service, honest and very knowledgeable.
I took my new faulty Amarok in to see what the issue was, Shaun spent a good few hours checking it out, talking to the vehicles dealer and highlighted all the issues. From this I got a full refund from the dealer and Shaun didn't charge me for any labour at that point.

I first contacted Shaun after a recommendation from another highly rated garage in Loughborough that were already booked up with work. After having the cambelt/water pump replaced elsewhere, I noticed a burning smell from my car, which of course was concerning! The original garage said they couldn't smell/see anything - thought I was going mad, but needed a second opinion!
One call to Shaun and he told me to bring the car in to be seen, no need to book, and he already had thoughts as to what the problem could be. Within minutes of arrival, Shaun had found the problem - a dodgy rocker cover gasket causing an oil leak (hence the awful burning smell).
Although very busy with work, Shaun kindly took my car in and it was ready after just one day. He is clearly very knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. I will definitely be going back for all my car needs in the future and thoroughly recommend for an honest, genuine and reliable service.

Phoned up, explained what it could be and got told to bring it in. They found a very small issue, fixed it free of charge when poteanilly other garages could have made out it was more of an issue than it was. Will be using again, very highly recommended. One of the good guys!
