GSF provide a fantastic service, at a reasonable price. They are helpful and knowledgeable, and provide excellent customer service. We have been taking our cars there for around four years, and they have always done their best to keep us informed and get the job done as fast as possible. I recently had an incident where I needed my car repaired urgently. My bumpers broke into a few pieces and everywhere I went there was a waiting list/couldn’t get the car in immediately or they couldn’t get the parts in time.
GSF managed to get my car in ASAP and get to work on it straight away. Having looked at the car pictures (couldn’t physically get the car in straight away) they gave me an estimate that beat everyone else by a minimum of £300.
whilst the works were being done, and managed to get everything completed within 2 days. Having had nasty surprises and unclear prices in the past, I was expecting a nasty bill/more than the quote. Not here, they actually saved me £800 on parts that weren’t actually required and the finish was very good and the same standard as an Audi garage.
The car was an Audi A8L, whereas I’m reluctant to give this car to the hands of any other garage that isn’t Audi, I must say GSF did a very good job and I was very impressed.
Vip and the team – keep up the good work. Highly recommended.

Very good overall experience. Would definitely recommend.
I had my car in for a general inspection and MOT. After inspection I got a very thorough review of all points. They were not trying to sell me anything and I felt under no pressure to chose any of the repairs they recommended.
Not cheap but less pricey than a dealership and I felt in competent hands.

Several visits in 2018 and 2019 (MoT, service, one breakdown) with a Mercedes and a BMW. Very good attention to detail and they only spend what is necessary, and keep me updated with progress as to repairs. Highly recommended.

We have been taking our car there for quite a few years now. The service from Janus, Michelle and the car team is always friendly and they keep us up to date with the status. They always try and get the car sorted out in a day and if not they sort something out for us. Their prices seem fair and they are so reliable - can't recommend them enough.

Wonderful experience.
I was recommended this by my brother in law who is a real car nut.
My Audi S5 sport back was hit twice, rear near side and drivers front wing which needed a complete replacement. They picked the car up, and did the job in under a week and it was less than Audi UK wanted just for the rear damage.
Will definitely use them again.

From start to finish, GSF provided an excellent experience. Comment relates to service/ MOT of Audi A3. All the staff (including initial call, car pick-up and servicing) were courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. As well as this excellent customer service, the price was reasonable and the turnaround quick.

Found this garage to be very helpful and also extremely professional.
They did a great job on my Range Rover from a simple service to diagnosing a fault with my alternator.
But the best bit of it all is the price competitive and also the labour charge is alot less than any main stream garages plus the work is 100% bang on ,so will be using them again for my wife's Mercedes.

I love those guys. I know and trust GSF for many many years now with numerous cars old and new from old SLs and middle aged Range Rovers (that are a nightmare of reliability) to newer machines! They have all modern diagnostics and their body shop is excellent at half the official dealers’ pricing. Yannis and team are a top notch crowd! They are super flexible with time, money and space. I have repeatedly stored car parts like hard tops and tyres with them as well ask them to find me parts or contacts for older cars. Thumbs up!

I had a very bad experience with this lot last year. They replaced the fuel sump and serviced another couple of bits. In the process they messed up the fuel injection, then causing me to break down a week later. I sent the garage a diagnostic report and notes from the AA and local Peugeot dealer (who fixed it really easily), but they never acknowledged they had anything to do with the fault (which was not the AA or Peugeot mechanics’ opinion). I found the owner, Ioannis, whom I called and emailed a few times to rectify the situation to be unhelpful and glib.
I had used them before and found then too that the hourly labour rates were bracingly expensive and that they quote for work you have not even asked for. The one positive is that they generally turn work around quickly.

Very unpleasant experience. Took a GL for complete check and some small fixes. They fixed the items so poorly that we had to take it to Mercedes garage to fix what they fixed. Would not even provide refund for their mess job. Stay away from this garage unless its small stuff like tyres etc. Don't let them touch the engine.

I had taken the car to a VW main dealer in Wimbledon and they'd come up with a list of things and an estimate of £1600+vat. Way too much in my opinion. So I took it to GSF. Within a half day they got back to me and said it was the PSV vacuum.
Sure enough it was. They got the part and the next day it was ready and the bill was £257!
Makes me wonder how much I have been being ripped-off by my previous garage. So much for VW main dealers.
And then, to truly cap everything I ever experienced from a garage before in my life, GSF drove me back to my front door and then collected me! And for that I am truly grateful.
Truly exceptional service. Needless to say I heartily recommend them.

Avoid at all costs.
Got quoted different prices every time. When I agreed to a very expensive service (check up, oil replacement and filters), the quality of the work was shockingly bad.
Car had some fresh damage on the front left fender when I picked the car up. This was denied by the garage and they even called me a fraud and a liar. Now a few months later (I hardly used the car the last few months), the bottom engine cover came off while driving on the motorway.
They told me the turbo vacuum pump gasket was leaking oil, even though I only started smelling oil after I picked up the car. I didn't let them repair this fortunately. It turned out they overfilled the oil according to another garage..

If you want someone that can turn wrenches ...go for it.. i called for a vanos oil pressure test on a bmw m5 which is a very easy procedure requiring a £150 gauge and NO dissembling(15 minutes job) and i have been told by their workshop people "you need to go to BMW dealer for this".... people in UK expect so little from garages... they proclaim themselves "the best independent garage in south and cetral london".. what a joke

????Warning???? Rip off merchants.
I took my XC90 in for a major service and they managed to find things to charge me close to £3K. They kept the car for nearly a week, delivered it back and then next time we went to drive it the previously perfect battery was completely flat. We then realised that there was a diesel leak after a pipe was cracked while being reassembled at the garage. Both of these problems cost money from my pocket to fix after paying a fortune for the 'work' they did. Don't touch these guys with a barge pole. I very much doubt all the positive reviews are real.

I went to GSF after moving to South Kensington to service my BMW 3-series. The staff were friendly and car-literate. Best of all they tell you when you can have your car back and actually stick to it. Previous experiences with other garages promising it will be ready in one more day etc are just a nightmare. I am going to make GSF my regular garage.

Avoid at all costs. Very expensive!
Received two different quotes for a full service. Then after a failed mot they tried to find as many things wrong only to provide an expensive quote to fix the problems. This place is very expensive especially the cost of labour. Unless you have money to throw away then go for it. But I recommend you search around first.
They would charge around £95 an hour plus VAT to Fix an item for labour and thats not even including the price of the item. So you have been warned, it does matter how friendly the service may be but when the figures start to mount up and your having to payout.

I dropped off my car to have the tracking reset and asked Roberto at GSF to also look at a couple of other issues that were affecting our car. They did all the work efficiently and fixed all the problems. The great news was that they only charged me for the tracking job, which was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them and would use GSF again.
