My sofas are still beautiful but after 13 years one base cushion has a worn area . I would like new base cushions or a refill and covers to match would double the life ,but sadly the fabric is no longer available through Duresta ,I have asked for the name of original supplier a porcelain stripe and a dragon design ,fingers crossed it has been a fantastic fabric for me .

Maybe they should spend less time claiming furlough money and more time fulfilling orders they have been paid for. Good luck if you risk buying something from them.

Bought a duresta chair, bad stitching and dent in arm. Assessor came out and reported yes the product is faulty, but I may have done the dent. I was told duresta now manufacture their furniture at Parker knowles which is a less superior product, maybe why a deterioration in quality. In any case there is no quality checks. Duresta appear to be moving from high end quality furniture to less quality affordable furniture. Shame!

A fully packaged sofa without pre-setup left in my house, and it is impossible to set up by myself without professional tools. Never had such a pricey item arrive without set up and no set up tools in the package, and now I need to buy tools and don know which one is it to set up the back wooden legs of the sofa. Even a cheap sofa from sofa.com came with set up services. This sofa arrived supper late and the delivery said it was “doing me a favour” by not just left it by my front door but my living room next to my front door. I waited months for this Duresta 3 seats £2499 sofa and didnt expect it to arrive without pre-set up or set up service. If they expect me to set up the sofa by myself maybe they should price it similar to ikea or eBay.

I've had my brand new Trafalgar suite delivered last week and am extremely happy with the quality and service I've received by Duresta. Only problem is, I don't ever want to get off my sofa now! Highly recommend!

I placed an order for Duresta 4-seater, 3-seater and 1 sofa chair with Furniture Village Reading on 01 NOVEMBER 2019. After almost 3 months, the order was partially fulfilled (4-seater and 3-seater arrived after much follow up) but Duresta informed Furniture Village in early FEBRUARY 2020 that it's run out of fabric to make the sofa chair !! So I have the 4-seater and 3-seater now but there is no delivery gaurantee on the sofa-chair. Furniture Village Reading are clueless on delivery timescale and Duresta is happily taking it's own sweet time in gettng the fabric. I'm now told that it MIGHT arrive in w/c 16th MARCH 2020 but I'm not holding my breath. Appalling example of order management, supply chain and customer relationships failure by Duresta and Furniture Village Reading. It's clear that niether party cares for the customer's hard earned money and treats such situations as 'business as usual'. Buyers be aware !

Furious that this company due to 1 person being sick closed the door to their factory today as I was en route from liverpool. Glad I didnt make the 2 hr journey and give you £8,000 of my hard earned cash. Duresta got my first order wrong. Right sofas , wrong material. Factory error and months of waiting. But I was willing to give you another chance !!! I sent an email early that morning to request the appointment but followed this with a call. I was shocked to hear that it was closing at 10.30am. Due to the key holder being sick. I have my own family run business and I have never closed my doors and we have dealt with devastating issues and we managed to keep things running. Cannot believe such a large company can carry on like this. Very unprofessional. I have had to give this 1 star to get my post out there. But I would give 0 stars for 0 service.

I have just purchased a Duresta sofa, I am not happy with the make up of this sofa at all. I have complained to Duresta and I have not heard back yet. Every time you sit on it it leaves a creased ( which the technician called puddling) mess. The cushions on the back of the sofa need puffing up all the time. It is an absolute nightmare. I telephoned Furniture Village and asked if I could return the sofa and was told no, as it had been especially made. What chance have we got with these companies. You buy in good faith. On the reviews I have read that nothing gets done about this issue as there have been other complaints as well. I am going to wait and see what the outcome is. Ellen Jackson

My sofa cost £2800 in Dec 2017 For the first year it was perfect . After 12 months it developed a strange musty smell. This drove me mad! I couldn’t work our initially where it was coming from and but my room was smelling fusty. I contacted Duresta and on initial contact spoke to a women who told me that sometimes feathers in the cushions can on occasions although, rare start to smell. I was advised to have the sofa professionally cleaned and then if the smell didn’t go then I should contact them again with a view to them replacing the filling. Basically a feather being of a natural nature can sometimes if its not cleaned or dried correctly during processing can develop a smell ( i’m presuming its a bacterial growth on the feather stems ). A few weeks later once the cleaning liquid smell had gone i could once again smell this awful fusty smell. I contacted Duresta and spoke to another lady who literally denied that the feathers could smell and told me there was nothing they could do and I should speak to the store where I bought it from . Eventually someone from the store where i bought it from was sent out to look at it . Perfect he said beautiful sofa ! However he admitted that his sense of smell was poor so he couldn’t advise on the smell issue. I contacted Duresta again and spoke to a gentleman, who was so rude it made me feel angry and to be honest, It got my back up. I called the shop where I bought it from again and they suggested as someone had looked at it and couldn’t “SEE” anything wrong with it i could pay 75 pounds and get an independent opinion. They would subsequently reimburse the amount If it showed to be faulty ( basically if it smelled ). By this time I’m going insane with the smell and the lack of support . I’m 130 pounds down from the cleaning and my sofa still stinks . Finally in despair I ask for the manager of the company that I bought it from to come out from the retail shop. The manager came out ! He recognised the smell straight away. It’s the feathers !!!! Yay finally phew I’m not going mad. The manager said it was unusual however in his many years in the industry he’d seen it a few times but not many. He said he would speak to Duresta and hopefully get my cushions replaced with non feather fillings . My opinion …..Duresta’s customer service is non existent . It’s a huge chunk of money to spend on a sofa I thought i was buying the best . I expected them to deal with their customers complaints professionally and politely. Neither of which they did. Also get their story straight as I was initially told they’d help me then it was denied to me. I honestly wouldn’t buy another Duresta product again . It’s too much hassle. End note Its now End of January 3 months later and i still haven’t received any cushion replacements. However i have been advised they have been ordered . So my living room still smells bad especially when you sit down on the sofa. It comes right up to offend your nose. Sally Bennett ....Awful.....

I had one about 20 years ago and loved it till the day it worn out completely, so 2015 I needed 2 sofas so I thought I'll push the boat out and get 2 duresta sofas, as the last lasted about 14 years there not cheap but well worth every penny, OH! not quite so good anymore! had a small issue with one of the seat cushions but they fixed that no problem, where my disappointment with it is, is the back cushion goes as flat as a pancake every time you sit in the dam thing, you don't have to fluff up the cushions everyday, it's every time you sit in the sofa! not so happy this time.

Terrible service, terrible outcome, very unsatisfactory experience. Untrustworthy company with no integrity. I escalated my complaint to the M.D. who refused to call me back and left his secretary to deal with the problem. They couldn’t fulfil my order and broke promises. I will never ever use duresta again or recommend them to anybody.

1 Month on from the original Post I left below & Duresta have failed to deliver the Sofa to Furniture Village by 07/10 as they said they would. The Sofa hasn't even been finished as they have ran out of fabric. I dread to think what the Sofa is going to look like now. Do not purchase from this company. Original post below; We ordered a Duresta sofa on 01/06/2018 from Furniture Village (FV) Croydon. I paid a deposit and it was confirmed that our sofa would arrive within 7 weeks. We were pleased to learn this as we had been advised that they could take as long as 10 weeks to be ready. On 05/06 my partner called the store as we realised we hadn't been asked whether we wanted the piping & cushions on the sofa to be a different fabric as offered on Duresta's own website. At this point, we had been told that FV had not yet submitted our order which was placed 5 days before. Following his call, Chris emailed the team to confirm their conversation and to ensure they had our updated requirements in writing as agreed on the phone. The sales man had agreed to confirm receipt of the email as evidence that the order had been updated. On 18/06, having become increasingly frustrated that we had still not received confirmation that our changes had been submitted by FV to Duresta, I called the store again and they finally sent the email. At this time, they confirmed that the sofa was actually going to take 10weeks to make. Had I not asked them to confirm delivery date, they would not have communicated this. Again, demonstrating a lack of customer service competency. On 24/07 I contacted furniture village as we were fast approaching August and based on FVs guidance I would be receiving the sofa w/c 13th August. Based on the history outlined above I wasn't expecting them to contact me. I received the bellow email in response. 'Your order is due to arrive in our warehouse week commencing 1st October, if you do have any queries please do not hesitate to contact xxx at the Croydon store.' I could not believe this! FV had not communicated this to me despite having known about the issue for weeks. I called Croydon who were exceptionally unhelpful and said they would not accept blame for any delays. This is something I would expect to be highlighted to when ordering the sofa. When they tried to get an answer as to why there was a delay from Duresta themselves, they learned that their factory was closed until 06/08 for the summer. Again, I should have been made aware of this when ordering the sofa. I was told they would let me know what they could do by way of compensation ... still nothing! I was also assured that FV would get in touch with me on 06/08 once they had finally spoken to Duresta. No call/email has been received. At this point, I tried to contact Duresta themselves who refused to speak to me as my contract was with Furniture Village. The worst example of customer services by companies working together to sell products B2C that I have EVER received. If this sofa ever turns up, I will have been waiting 17 weeks for it. Though that's me being optimistic. Last week, Duresta confirmed that the Sofa's fabric had not even left the mill yet 12 weeks on. They have also been telling me that this issue has been sent to their head of customer relations but I've received no communication from this person yet. Both organisations are pointing the finger at each other. Avoid if you want a quality customer service experience
