I had two sofas re-covered by Kennington Upholstery. They were beautifully done. I thought price to quality was excellent.
I liked having our contractual obligations to each other set out clearly before the start of the process.
Muthana was very quick to answer my emails and he phoned to clear up a few points just before they started work.
Dealing with one person who knew exactly what was happening in his workrooms was reassuring.
I am happy to recommend Kennington Upholstery.

Had an armchair repaired (arm reattached) and the seat recovered with new fabric - the service was excellent, fast, and the result is a beautiful looking chair which has been fully restored, including polished. The staff are friendly and helpful and have clearly put a lot of effort into restoring the chair and overall it's a super service for a good price which I can highly recommend.

I made contact with this business to upholster a couple of tub chairs, and to revamp a sentimental single dinning chair.
I instantly had a response when I made contact and I sent over photos of my chairs and had a quote and they collected them. I looked at many fabrics from the websites they recommend and i had sample fabrics delivered. I also went to the workshop to look at fabrics. They were patient as it did take me quite a few weeks to decide on what i wanted.
The work was completed really quickly and they were very professional and did a fantastic job and gave some good advice for the shape of my chairs. They gave updates as to what was happening. The chairs were delivered back to me. It was great as collection and delivery was flexible. The chairs were extremely well made and look brilliant. I've been showing them off and everyone has been so impressed and cant believe the change.
The fabrics vary in price and can be expensive but i wanted a good quality fabric. It was really nice being able to choose the fabrics that I wanted from the wide range which made it personal and individual. I thought money well spent in the end, so thank you.

I am beyond thrilled with the job Muthana and his team have done in reupholstering my footstool. Her was very responsive, gave a perfect estimate on how much material was needed with very little going to waste. The corners are done perfectly and the stool looks fantastic - even better than I had hoped for! Excellent value too, especially compared to some ludicrous quotes I received from other London reupholsters. I highly recommend this business and will definitely be using them again myself!

Fantastic service start to finish and what a great way to restore 2 Edwardian armchairs and a small sofa. We could have sent them to the tip - the springs were popping out and the seats deflated. Muthana said he would fix them and he and the team did a great job. I ordered some lovely fabric from Houles with a contrast Andrew Martin herringbone. Hopefully they will put photos on the website.
Muthana was a pleasure to deal with and I will be recommending them to my friends. It was such a joy to save this furniture for another 30 years rather than buying cheap new products made in China.
I felt their prices were fair and reasonable and they liaised via their business whatsapp promptly keeping me informed and checking things if unclear. The chairs came back within 2-3 weeks. I was so surprised and pleased. Anyhow expectations were exceeded and I thoroughly recommend Kennington Uphostery.

Kennington Upholstery delivered an excellent service reupholstering a Heals sofa and footstool. On initial inquiry, the team were quick to arrange an appointment to view fabrics. They had a great range and I was able to choose a selection in case of supply chain issues. Collection was on time, as was delivery of the finished product. I am delighted with the end result, it is akin to new furniture for much less than replacing the items would have been, and saved a bulky delivery to landfill. I would highly recommend this company based on quality of workmanship, prompt appointments and professionalism and friendliness through the whole process.

Kennington Upholstry re-upholstered two vintage sofas for us. From the start, they communicated quickly and clearly. They listened carefully to our needs with the use of the sofa -- and thus advised how it should be reinforced, re-upholstered, and what fabric would be suitable -- because they listened attentively, they made excellent suggestions. When the work was done, it was done promptly - and most of all, the workmanship was outstanding. Sofas were collected and returned afterward: handled carefully, meeting agreed times. Lovely people. I won't go anywhere else.

Thanks to Muthana and team for a swift and professional service. Had a small armchair reupholstered in a fortnight, which including them ordering in the fabric, and had very personal service on the phone, by email and in person.
The chair looks fantastic - the seat had completely collapsed and the fabric was torn and beyond repair, but they matched the material spot-on for a like-for-like refurbishment.
Wouldn’t hesitate to use again, and have already requested a quote on another chair.
