These guys just re-covered my Edwardian chaise longue, and I can't recommend them highly enough. After several months of failing to find anyone to do the work - because quotes were too high, or the time slots offered were way too far in the future - I happened to call Kennington Upholstery, where Muthana quickly gave me a decent price and then arranged a pick-up for the same day. Three weeks later, the job was done. The renewed fabric looks and feels great, and they also seem (at no extra cost) to have waxed the wooden frame. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment before trusting them with something else; nor should you. Thanks!

Kennington Uplholstery restored my rare Danish mid-century teak rocking chair by Ole Wanscher which was missing the back cushion and required reupholstered sprung seat and frame fittings.To be honest I was a little nervous but left photographs of how the finished product should look. I collected the chair yesterday and was amazed at the quality of the finished job, totally faithful to the original in every detail. The team at Kennington Upholstery are extremely courteous, highly professional and very competitively priced compared to other quotes I had received. I did supply my own fabric and even got back the pieces they didn’t use! I would highly recommend them and I certainly won’t hesitate using their services again in the future, especially now I know they handle rare items with great care and respect!

Absolutely brilliant. We are delighted with the quality of our upholstered 3 piece leather suite. Muthana was very helpful and supportive during the process. We went to visit his workshop near Goodge Street, where he talked us through the process and showed us examples of work. He recommended a vinyl and sent us samples, collection and return of the suite was all very professional and he sent us photos during the process. The price we believe was good value considering the result. The suite was with them about a week longer than we expected as they needed more time to pay attention to detail. I think the only downside is, that it was sometimes difficult to get hold of company and replies to phone calls and emails could take a bit of time. Nevertheless I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

I can't recommend Montana and his team enough, they reupholstered 30 antique chairs (armchairs and mixture of mid century and art deco dining chairs) in a very short space amount of time for me. Montana was extremely patient and a pleasure to deal with. Best prices in the area by a long mile. I will never look elsewhere for my upholstery needs!

It is not very often that one needs an upholsterer, so where do you go the one time you need one? And whom do you trust your precious furniture to, in the hope that the result will be worth it? After all, it is not as though you are going to do this every year, so you need to think carefully.
I wanted to uplift my living room. I invested 10 years ago in a beautiful cream Italian leather sofa that was now showing its age. It is large, leather and a bit of a risk as it was probably too costly. I thought I would also upholster four bulky armchairs to fit under a round table. Add to this the timing (needed to be done in 6 days before I went on holiday) and I knew I had a massive challenge ahead.
So, I looked around and got various quotes, ranging from the ridiculous price wise to the "we will take a month" ones. And then I stumbled upon Muthana. From the outset he was friendly, polite, professional and confidence inspiring (even though he promised to deliver in the tight timeframes which was pretty much unbelievable).
He offered the best price, helped tremendously with the provision of samples from various companies, came to collect the furniture as promised AND DELIVERED AN OUTSTANDING RESULT ON TIME.
Not only that, but he also did the cushions, I could not have been happier with the result. The sofa and chairs look better than they ever did and I am so proud we keep inviting people over !
It is outstanding craftsmanship and customer service like Muthana's that we all need to support with our custom. His business is small but I guarantee the results will be above and beyond your expectation. I wish I had more furniture to leave it in his able hands as the transformation is truly impressive.
