Lots of space, gift shop, cafe with views of tennis courts, activities for kids, lots of staff on hand to answer questions, really cool super-sized lift - we enjoyed spending a couple of hours as a family and all free!

The Towner is a really lovely space and generally has excellent exhibitions and often lots of activities for younger people to enjoy too. The cafe is also very good.

It always was an ugly building but now they've painted it, it is awful. Inside it seems soulless, the café is it's only redeeming feature.
