They show different arts on different floors. There is also a cafe on the 2nd floor, which you can access by a massive lift. There is a small shop on the ground floor.

I attended an event here on the ground floor and we all found the acoustics in the conference room really awful. The auditorium was comfortable but I found that just one toilet for the ground floor was also a real oversight in the building's design

Great for getting children into art. Opens their mind about the various concepts. Have a children's activity room and runs classes especially for them. Lovely little shop and cafe too.

I've been to the Towner on countless occasions, they have an excellent diary and often include community based work. If you are with kids don't forget to try the workshop room upstairs where kids can get involved with free materials on offer for creative purposes.

A beautifully designed gallery by Rick Mather. A great place to visit when you have a couple of hours to spare and need an art fix. The café is also well worth a try
