Homebase was wonderful good variety of plants etc if there is anything the ladies toilets shared by sainsburys are in a disgusting state toilet seats off toilet paper everywhere and staining in the bowl of the toilets if I hadn't been desperate wouldn't have used them

Very well laid out store. Some beautiful plants at the front door. Great selection of paints including dulux almost the full range.i got the glitter paint and tile paint that I had been hanging my nose over for months. Good selection of tiles and wallpaper too. Spend far more than I intended on some other bits and bobs too, which I am very pleased with. Next to sainsbury's and also the petrol station

Chose what I wanted within 2 minutes of walking through the door. 50 minutes after walking in I got to leave, after somebody picking both items wrong first time. One of them wrong a second time, then having to accept an alternative product even though the one I wanted was showing as 2 in stock. Got back to my my car in an almost empty car park to find somebody parked into the back of my car (not Homebase fault I know) Great way to spend Sunday morning!

Ok for basic DIY but very disappointed this store closes at 6:00 pm. I got there too late last night but saw 4 other people do the same in short space of time I was checking opening hours. Seems they don't want the trade.

Went here for some roller blinds that were showing in stock. However, we couldn't find them and asked an assistant, Penny, who went out of her way to help along with her colleague Maria. Unfortunately, they didn't find them anywhere but it certainly wasn't for the lack of trying. Thanks ladies

Very limited stock onsite, and the shelves were not kept in a manner that made it easy to find anything. Mislabeled goods didn't help, so we were forced to move on to elsewhere.

Disaster, the whole site became a lobster pot at around 13:00. It took over an hour to clear the retail park. Need to carefully choose the time you visit and the website is no help in that regard.

Shocking Customer Service. Visited 27th October and was disgusted at the level of customer service that numerous customers received by Rachel to be honest I receive better service from a self checkout as at least they say hello & thankyou. After asking Rachel to display a little more kindness and respect we were confronted by Greg the operations manager and after explaining the situation with his rude and arrogant staff member his answer was " oh she's not usually like that and it is her first day back " . Yes he apologized for what happened but obviously she doesn't want the job. I am sure with the situation that everybody is in with the pandemic it is difficult but there are hundreds of people crying out for jobs and I can guarantee everyone of them has better customer service skills than Rachel that was on the service counter till 27/10/2020 am. Its not difficult to find decent respectful staff but somehow Homebase you have excelled yourself with this one. WELL DONE!

Visited today to purchase additional Tropical solar string lights that I'd had the year previous. These had been reduced to £5.00 in the clearance and the website showed there were 5 in stock, however I was unable to find them. A very helpful, and polite, member of staff 'Kay' located these for me. She even went back to the entrance to get me a basket - as I'd seen some extra items I couldn't resist.
All in all an extremely pleasant shopping experience - despite it being during the covid-19 pandemic. The staff are doing an amazing job and I for one am very grateful to them.

We went to get some paint to replace some that we disliked before. The decorator was at home so we had to get the paint quickly. We couldnt make a decision so found a member of staff. Kay assisted us and helped us alot, which then resulted in getting a new pot of paint. Kay was very helpful and patient with us throughout. Thanks Kay!

Kingsway Home Base is excellent as compared to the one at the wyvern, because the staff and it's service has no no limits and the staff can't do enough for you. Whereas there is a lot to be desired at the wyvern where i found the staff unhelpful and also quite arrogant.

Very good store and pleasant staff just wish they update there stock went online to check if they had the paint I required it said they had to two tins in stock so I went today from other side of derby to find there was no paint very annoying

The houseplant department is dilapidated. Orchids and other dead plants are sold at full price. Someone should really start looking after them. I also visit Leicester Homebase where everything is pristine and looked after you actually want to buy a plants instead of leaving the store angry at lack of plant care. Sort it out.
