I had a somewhat unique situation, but the staff were wonderful. They did all they could to be helpful and quick while I was there, and in the end went out of their way to meet my needs. Great experience and a special thanks to the employee who talked with me, and for the enquiries she made.

5 stars for the staff as they have to put up with a lot in a very tight space, cant expect them to laughing with joy all the time but they always help. Give them a pay rise!!

This is perhaps one of the only Co-op stores that I know of that when you walk in you can sense the community spirit about the place. The staff are always friendly and pleasant to deal with.

What a miserable shopping experience! The majority of staff are at best indifferent, and seem happier to chat amongst themselves than engage with customers. Try being professional and maybe even crack a smile, you have a job so be grateful. Trust me there are others out there worse off than you!

The earlier reviews are spot on. Pretty miserable, cramped store. Almost zero respect for social distancing and no measures to avoid COVID spreading (how about some wiping down of the self-service touchscreen every now and then?). Security staff on door is generally always rude too.

Just been...I didn't feel safe too many people allowed in...also the staff working on the shop floor are very pleasant but could be a little more savvy of the 2m rule...all seems a little too relaxed...but I do thank them for all their hard work...

I don't have high standards for grocery stores, but wow this place makes for a truly miserable shopping experience. Unbearably cramped design... impossible to walk down any of the aisles without having to beg someone to let you pass them. If you have claustrophobia, this store will probably induce a panic attack. The other Co-Op down the street is also garbage, but it's still better than this purgatory.

The shelves are always pretty bare, there are big metal trolleys in the way so it's not easily accessible if you've got a buggy or if you're in a wheelchair! The staff are nice but this co op branch has so much work to do to become even ok-ish... They need better shelf stacking strategies, more products to fulfill demand and sort out the accessibility issue...

Obscenely narrow aisles. God help you if you're someone who is "of larger carriage" - one foot wrong and you're going to find yourself lodged in the non-perishables aisle and needing specialist equipment to get yourself removed. There's always a massive queue for the two under-staffed tills, and it's impossible to get past people to the (usually empty) self service tills. If there's such thing as supermarket triple bypass, this place needs it. NOTE: The staff are not at fault for this blight on UK supermarket layouts.

Really rude staff who leave tills unmanned when there is a large queue.

Tiny store with isles that are way too small. Feels really cramped and also a little overpriced.

I like this Co-op because they often run out of things and in other shops I always buy too much stuff. I think this Co-op is good for dieting although I wish they would run out of the Truly Irresistible triple chocolate cookies more often. It's OK when the BHASVIC kids are at college cos they buy them all but sometimes there are some left and I have to buy them. Also, the staff are nice and it's near my house. I don't think I can ever remember a time that this Co-op has ever run out of milk, eggs, flour, sugar and butter etc though. Maybe the impatient sounding people below need to bake themselves cakes next time they feel like complaining about things on the Internet and then they'll be a bit happier.

I only go here when I'm desperate. But there's not much point cause this place brings nothing but disappointment. My corner shop down the road from my house has more stock. It's actually abysmal.

Good staff. The prices are a rip off, go to Aldi, Morrison's or Asda. I only go there when I'm low on milk Self services machine are always littered by brainless morons, who don't take the receipt or put it in the bins provided which is next to the machines. You will always be asked by a guy who hangs around the door, for your spare change.

Wow, just went to this store after reading the reviews thinking 'it can't be that bad!'. The store looked like it had been robbed. I even heard another customer literally asking the security guard 'have you just been robbed?!'. It felt like the store was only 2/3 stocked.

Very small store that cannot cope with local demand. There can be a long queue and only one or two checkouts will be open, whilst staff - who have noticed the situation - continue doing stock checks and other non-urgent tasks.

The Stuff there is great, very convenient location but doesn't have a lot of variety on stuff, good shop for the essentials.

This is possibly the worst shop I've ever had the misfortune to use. The staff are slow and incompetent, there is always a huge queue, there is never any stock on the shelves. Totally useless
