This is the worst supermarket I have ever visited in my entire life, and I know it very very well because unfortunately it's the most convenient to my location. Been going in for almost 3 years now, and disappointed in every single visit. Not even once I have received fair customer service here, and I see now it's a very recurring matter as per reviews. People working there are so disrespectful and not-bothered. Messy and dirty shop floor. Most of the time clearance products are way off or too rotten to be sold. I definitely try to avoid it as much as possible, and would recommend anyone likewise.

This shop is nearly always messy and dirty. Not sure who the manager is but they need to get on top of things. This store gives the co-op a bad name. Sort it out!

I have never experienced the utter lack of consideration, "customer care" and politeness that I have in this store. It is actually unbelievable. The fact that all items seem much more expensive than any other co-op's in Brighton and Hove is beyond justifiable. Completely ridiculous!

Awful co-op, almost as bad as the one in Church Road, Hove.
Terrible queuing system and a constant barrage of homeless people asking for money outside despite this location having a security guard who seems to do nothing.

Compleatley usless, no one ever on customer service, non working self service machines and constant homless people blocking the doorwar, who the staff are more conserned aout conversing with thad doing their job of serving the customers.

Far too many people being let in at a time. Impossible to social distance with such narrow space!! And shouldn't staff be stacking shelves before or after shop is shut?? We are in the middle of a pandemic for God's sake this shop is not safe!!

Staff are mostly nice enough except for one or two that seem pretty grumpy most of the time.
The worst thing is the shortage of stock. Often the don't have any carrots or various other fruit and veg. Usually low on loads of other stuff too. Booze selection is ok though.

I visited today to buy cough mixture for my partner and pain killers for my migraine. The gentleman who served me had the care to ask if I was okay. I explained who the medicine was for. He asked me if I have had a recent eye test. He and the young lady next to him explained their personal experiences of migraines caused by eye strain. As soon as I got home I put on my glasses which was meant for occasional use and straight away my migraine went. No pain killers needed. I've worked in customer service for nearly 30 years and can't express how much the 2 co-op employees put in so much empathy, care and time in their customer of 2 minutes, and how much of an impact it's made to me. Great British customer service at it's best.

The Manger of this store is an ignorant twat who should be removed forthwith. He is rude both to his staff and customers alike and as a shareholder of this company, I feel he can only bring the company into disrepute. I shall advise all I know to avoid this store, as I would not like anyone else to experience this horrible person.

Lived on Brunswick Road and it's literally just a 30 seconds walk away. Used to shop here often - would just pop down when I needed anything as it’s open until 11pm daily. Has a wide range of products as well as a bakery and a free cash machine.

Went in for cigarettes and the guy on till went back to change them and he done the same again,only realised when I walked out of shop and went back then he accused me in the wrong and that he definitely give me the right cigarettes even no he didn’t even no were they were in the rack when his boss came along, thankfully he did
