Tasty food and great coffee, which unfortunately didn't arrive until after I'd finished the food.

This used to be one of mine and my partners favourite coffee shops in Brighton but since the addition of table service it feels a bit uncomfortable. Staff are lovely and food and coffees are great but don’t know if we’ll be frequenting here as much any more. Shame.

Not a great experience at the Flour Pot's seafront location. Service was chaotic and unprofessional. Ordered a salad with a 'hard boiled' egg, which came out with the white still raw in places. The rest of our table ordered pre-made items, which came out about 15 minutes apart. With the variety of choices available in Brighton and Hove, I wouldn't choose to eat here again. Update: Two of our group of four were ill after this meal.

Excellent seafront bakery-come-coffee-shop. Delicious snacks and fantastic staff. Grab one of the snug corner tables if you can.

Great place. Family enjoyed a selection of tasty pizzas with strange names (reliably told by son they are skateboarders) and a few of the sides - all excellent. Really friendly service, contemporary and comfortable - a very welcome addition to the area.

Thrilled to find this place. I'm a regular visitor to Brighton for work and always enjoy walking along the beach but found there was a dearth of good casual food on offer until now!. Location, food and service are terrific. Will be back every time I'm in town for sure!

Stopped here for a quick coffee takeaway, which was anything but quick. 2 coffees took about 15 minutes to get made. They were not even that busy. Owner needs to take a look at the staff organisation here. The barista was making the coffees and then disapearing off to deliver them to the tables. The coffee was good once we eventually got it. It's a nicely decorated and clean unit with beach front seating. If you are not in a hurry then its fine park yourself at a table an you can while away a couple of hours in the sun with a light lunch. Get there quick though as the poor organisation is likely to bring them down

Can get busy, then orders get delayed and things forgotten. However, nice outdoor seating area and service friendly enough, a lot better from the woman who looks in charge - best service !

I went there with my friends a bit late 15:00, asked for food first the waitress said no, the the chief said yes. After we paid our order, she told us to sit at a table. We satand then she told us that the kitchen was closed and we couldn't have the food that we ordered!!!!! Such a disappointment!!! Fortunately she refunded us. Why saying yes when it no !!!!

Great Brighton gem, we had breakfast just this morning, attentive service from the staff, perfect food, definitely recommend the 'Lost Bread' with bacon as an extra and the 'Shalka Beans' - made even better with a touch from the natural environment- the sun and sea ????

I recently bought sourdough loaves from there and froze them. They should have normally lasted for at least two months in the freezer. Within just two weeks or so though, most of the slices went mouldy (slices came out white as shown in evidence which is the way sourdough goes mouldy). This does not happen with sourdough or german bread from M&S or Infinity Foods. So, I would say buy sourdough from M&S or Infinity which never goes mouldy in my fridge or freezer. I won't be buying bread from there again (sorry!) - unless you want free penicillin (lol)... I also sent them an email on this and I was ignored... Nice! (digging one's head in the sand always work). also nice pastries *but* SUPER-EXPENSIVE (doughnut for £2.50 eat out? though hardly any difference from Greggs on that one. Sorry!- let alone Krispy Kreme). I would not mind visiting for their other products (other than bread, as per the above), but prices are a bit of a burn out... Also the pastries, bread and sandwiches, etc. are fully exposed to environmental pollution by way of laying around uncovered so that all the dust, viruses and bacteria (also including the lovely flies)- you name it, sit freely on them... yummy! CONCLUSION Highly overpriced for what it is. It's brand relies more on marketing and less on substance.

What can I say, we stumbled across this hidden gem in the summer and enjoyed many evenings eating artistan pizzas and drinking red wine. If you have a sweet tooth they have an amazing selection of freshly baked cakes, pastries, oh and delicious bread. It has a really friendly vibe about it. This is definetly my happy place! Lovely staff and excellent service.. Rachida and Ollie lead an amazing and talented team! Well done guys.

The location is amazing but their coffee is quite mediocore and the food is a little bit expensive. Still, I would highly recommend this place, since they are the best option around that area

Australian manager rudely tells me not to stay so long next time after drinking two over priced coffees for a couple of hours as they want food people in. Should have stated this from the start. Employing people with manners is generally a good idea when dealing with humans.

The Kings Road Arches branch is very small and was very busy and noisy. Would suggest going to another of their branches if you want a quiet coffee and cake!
