[Farnborough/Ash branch] Helpful service during lockdown period. Very communicative. Identified source of ingress problem and proposed a simple fix I could do myself (not mechanical ☺️). Also identified a separate mechanical issue and fixed it under extended warranty. Great.

Tracy in the body shop was her usual lovely self. Car re-sprayed perfectly, as you would expect from a main dealer who quoted 3 times the price of anywhere else and gives a 10yr guarantee. But if someone else's insurance is paying, I'm afraid it will only go to BMW.

I really don't rate this dealership... I wouldn't used them again.. I had to find the car online, then I had convenience them to take deposit on the phone to secure the car, then I had to call to request a viewing for the car. On top I believe they did mess up my application for the finance, even though I have TOP credit rating, so I did finance with another company at 4% lower. The only person I would rate highly is the driver that drop my car to me, what a great guy..

Appalling service. Incompetence with attitude. 1 series BMW, wipers failed. Local garage took a look and told me the motor was fine - they'd connected power to it and it was working fine) - but the controller' had failed because water was getting into the car through a failed seal (a known problem with this model). Told to go to a 'main dealer' for new controller (and by the way, MOT expired that very day). So I take it to Barron's, Hindhead (where I bought my X1, and had it serviced at great cost). I spend time explaining the problem, the other garage's findings, that an MOT is also required, and the seals need sorting because of water ingress. I deliver it to them and go away. A couple of days later they call and tell me how much the new wiper motor will cost, and do I want to go ahead? NO!! The chap is indignant when I tell him that I had already told them the motor was fine and that they were to replace the controller. Another couple of days pass and they say it's ready -- THEY HAVEN'T DONE THE MOT NOR THE SEALS. I try to contact the MD. He's away on holiday. They try again. The car needs a new part to pass the MOT - it can be collected next week - Monday afternoon is agreed. Ten days have passed; it's Monday afternoon; I am sitting in Barron's - I have been waiting for the invoice to be prepared - FOR AN HOUR!! Eventually the invoice was presented; I questioned the £ 130 to establish it wasn't the wiper motor. After much argument the service chap spoke to his boss - who kindly took the £ 130 off the bill. I paid the remaining £ 1,100 odd.

A car dealer, coffee good but why does it take 10mins to drop off car and keys, and wait for paperwork to be printed so it can be signed!
