Bought a car from Acton in September and have had nothing but excellent service. Super friendly staff and great customer service made the whole experience a pleasure. A fault with the car was sorted without any problems despite lockdown, they couldn't have been more helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Acton Motors to anyone looking to buy a used car.

What a super car sales place for a change. Did not feel pushed into buying a car (even though I did buy one ???? )
The car I bought was a great car at a good reasonable price too.
The gentleman Aaron, gave us space to look at car and talk without being in our skin. Made us coffee and gave our children drink too. Was treated as a family and not as a SALE!
After care is good. Also replaced front tyres as they were a advisory on mot at no extra cost to us. Great communication on when cat was ready for collection and so helpful.

From my own personal experience
Within 3 months of owning the car had the engine malfunction warning up.
Had to return 5 times for air conditioning repair. Although covered by warranty its a 45 min drive to drop it off. Then getting a train home.
Unreliable, either losing parts or some excuse why they couldn't fix it.
Had 1 job which fell outside warranty because of covid but got messed about and was rude to me.
Now warranty is expired I don't have to deal with these people again. What a relief.
Never , ever buy here again.

In reply to there aggressive and made up reply. Shows the lengths they will go to to to ensure customers are not satisfied.
How about dont sell a car over 100k miles if you can't handle it.
You WONT bully me I will not tolerate it.
Buyers beware... this is fair warning of what these cowboys can do.

My son bought a Megane from Arron, a fair price for a fair car.
He also helped him tax and insure the car so that he could drive it away.
Just at the start of lock down there was a problem, Arron kept in touch and as soon as possible arranged collection and repair.
A very, very good service, I can't thank him enough.

It was a pleasure to buy a new second-hand car from Steve at Actons. Initially I was advised against a purchase of a vehicle that really wasn't suitable to my needs - for me that was a good start! Consequently the car I had fixed on - a reliable Ford Focus - happened to be available and the price was right (as they say). Then of course the first night home and I left the lights on, and my plea for help was immediately answered with Steve and his jump leads. Great to have a local service...and then, two weeks later someone stole the tyre cap and ...did they let the tyre down or was it a slow puncture? we shall see, but always at the ready - Actons sorted me out...and I am now fully pumped and functional and rather glad of genial expertise.

I was contacted the first working day after I showed an interest in a car through Car Gurus, booked a test drive and put a deposit down to secure the car.
It was the biggest purchase I have ever made by myself without any guidance and I've got to say, I was made to feel very comfortable, no pressure, and the deal I got was fantastic. Being a woman on her own in a male environment, this is very important to me.

No pressure sales, nice car which came with a full 4 wheel refurbishment and 12 month warranty as a part of the deal.
Aaron called me at home after initially enquiring about the car online and he was very helpful and talked me through the car history and condition before we decided to travel from Milton Keynes to view so quite a trek. The sales experience on the day of viewing was good no pressure and we finalised a good deal and bought the car.
It took a while to sort out getting the warranty paperwork sorted due to email address issues but we got there in the end.

Im really pleased with my new (used) car. Actons have been excellent to deal with so far and i feel really confident about the purchase. Both Aaron and Steve were straightforward to deal with- and importantly i felt i could trust them both from the off. They were both very patient as well with my many questions about boot size! The car itself was immaculate and came with a fresh mot and service. The Actons premises is in a great spot and easy to find. Loads of choice as well for all budgets. It felt as the website said like a family run firm. Both the guys were friendly and approachable and both had great manner and were not pushy at all. I highly recommend this company. Steve was extremely helpful and made the whole process very easy, as we didn't know anything about cars: from leaving us to take our time to have a look at the car to explaining everything we needed to know to make an informed decision. All their cars are sourced with skill and a lot of knowledge, meaning that they only sell very good quality and great value secondhand vehicles. After spending a few weeks looking for a new car and having a bad experience at another dealership I was very discouraged with the whole ordeal of buying a car. Until a friend took me to Acton Motor Co, Steve was already at the entrance as we pulled up and within 5 minutes a cup of tea was in hand, then followed a very relaxed, none pushy chat about the car I had came to see, I was left to spend as much time as I required to look the car over, Steve was in the background to answer any questions I had. After a good test drive a deal ‘that I was very happy with’ was made, Steve helped me through all the paper work/insurance/tax ect to get me on the road straight away and then payment was made. The customer service from Steve and Acton Motor Co was excellent; I highly recommend this family run business to anyone who like myself find the whole car industry daunting, who has a limited knowledge of cars and want a friendly, understanding and caring approach when it comes to parting with thousands of pounds. I can honestly say as I was driving home “what a great car” and not “what have I just done”. I bought a Toyota Yaris from Aaron for my daughter two months ago. It is a first class car for its age and price and both my daughter and I are delighted with it. Apart from the car being a good buy, the reason I felt comfortable buying from Aaron was that the minute I walked into the showroom I could see that the stock and the premises were all in good order. The Honda Jazz was sold to me with a fresh MOT but the car had no locking nuts and a nail in one of the tyres so I asked Acton to put normal nuts on the wheels. New tyre needed. New CAT and exhaust system needed 3 days after buying as all rusted through. A week later it needed new pads and discs and a new trailing arm. One of the wheel nuts put on by Acton was not a Honda part and had been forced on to the stud spoiling the thread. New wheel stud needed. The car is very clean and in good condition as far as the engine goes with all bells and whistles working fine and the mileage is genuine–shame about the rest.

I brought my vauxhall astra 2 days before Christmas from actons and all I can say is the car is still going great. Absolutely love the car and have not had 1 problem with it at all.
customer service from these guys were great and no pressure selling from these guys either. My overall experience I would go back in a heartbeat to buy another car. I was a bit cautious buying from another used car dealer due to the fact my previous car was brought from one and it lasted 7 months before having to get rid of it but actons have restored my faith in buying second hand car's.
Thanks guy's I'll be back when I want to upgrade!
