Had a relaxation massage here and it was fantastic, a very relaxing experience. The staff asked if I wanted them to focus on any particular areas and they made every effort to make me feel relaxed and enjoy my experience. As I was visiting Brighton for the weekend, they also gave me advice on what to do/ see during my stay.

I had nail extensions done today by Olivia and I can't describe how happy I am with the result! They are just what I was hoping for- they look very natural and Olivia didn't rush at all and took her time to make sure they were done perfectly. Olivia was really welcoming, professional and made me feel completely at ease. I recommend everyone to have your nails done here! Thank you xx

It’s rare to be able to say the word enjoyable in the same sentence as ‘Hollywood wax’ but I had Olivia today and in the last 15 years of waxes in Brighton and London it was my best experience. Olivia was so lovely and I didn’t feel a thing, can’t wait to go back again! Many thanks Olivia!

Great treatment, wonderful service

Going to Turn Beautiful is like going to see old friends. A truly professional salon with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, right in the heart of the Brighton Lanes. I have had numerous treatments with both Jen and Liv and the consistent quality and professionalism is second to none. Plus, we have a really good laugh, and I always leave the place smiling! I wouldn't trust anywhere else with my treatments now.

My girlfriend came here to her her eyebrows done. Staff was super nice, they done the job fairly quickly but also very professional. Only bad thing was the location. It was fairly difficult to find as it is in an apartment above a restaurant. Other than that I would highly recommend it!

I can only recommend this place! Jen did my lashes and even though I was booked for only an hour she managed to fit a full set on! Really professional,lashes last ages and look stunning! My left eye stung a bit during the treatment and Jen assured me that , even though she was fully booked on the next day, she will immediately take my lashes off should I have allergic reaction. Best place to go to for lash extention in Brighton .

Exceptional service by all staff members, always felt welcome. I have environ treatments to reduce pigmentation marks, inflammation and clear the skin, also waxing and can assure you, you won't regret booking an appointment.

I moved to Brighton summer last year and since then, I see Jen twice a month for spray tans and waxing. I can honestly say she's AMAZING at what she does. She's a complete perfectionist, and I have never felt disappointed leaving Turn Beautiful. Other places I've been to seem to just want to get the job over and done with and rush it, but Jen always takes the time and makes sure you're happy with the end result. She's lovely and bubbly, and makes you feel completely comfortable. The prices are very affordable at Turn Beautiful but quality products are used, which is rare! I have recommended Jen to many friends and they have all raved over her work - and gone back. :)

The BEST place to go for a wax in Brighton 100%... I'm so happy with the results, really thorough job done by Liv. She is a lovely lovely person, really easy to chat to and puts you right at ease. Best wax i've ever had! Also - cheapest in Brighton by far...

Jennie delivers an excellent deep tissue massage. Firm, relaxing and straight to the problem areas. Dance injuries are feeling significantly relieved today and not even feeling that sore. Very impressed. The studio was a great environment: friendly and chilled. Highly recommended and will definitely be back for more

If you have any kind of anxiety about going to a beautician, I wouldn't recommend this place. I was pushed into a manicure that I didn't want, that the person I was with was meant to have but had gifted to me. After saying several times that I didn't want a manicure especially a gel manicure, (firstly due to work as I can only have natural colour nails and secondly because it makes my skin crawl to have any kind of fake plastic on my body, I don't need that to be happy) I was uncomfortably ushered towards a chair for the treatment to begin. I had to grit my teeth through the whole process as the person that gifted it to me was watching the whole time and when I timidly pointed out extremely, politely, bumps on the nails that I didn't like I was shut down instantly and told it has to be like that. Once the manicure was complete I smiled and said thank you but as soon as I left the beautician I burst into tears. I felt so uncomfortable and crawling in my own skin, not a feeling you want 4 days before your wedding. To make matters worse, 2 hours later I spoke to the person who gifted it to me, who contacted the beautician and told them I was very upset and they asked me to come back to remove it but within those 2 hours I had pulled the zip up on my coat and the side of one nail wasn't smooth and got caught on a thread and ripped not only the fake extension but also part of my actual nail off meaning I could either glue it back down or have a horrible half missing nail on my wedding. So I couldn't remove them. It's a huge shame because the staff as a whole are lovely and I'm sure they do great treatments but being quite a nervous person anyway I was completely traumatised by the whole appointment and still burst into tears every time I think of it. I'm sorry to write this review, but it's for anyone else who is apprehensive with new beauticians and treatments. I encourage whole heartedly that the staff need to listen to the customers voice whether they agree or not. I also encourage people to just love themselves as they are, you don't need to Turn beautiful, you are beautiful.

Jen is the best at eyelash extensions! Everywhere I go I get compliments on my lashes and people ask what mascara I use - I have to point out that they are fake because they are so natural looking. Jen is an absolute perfectionist and will not let you walk out of her salon with anything less than the perfect finish. Plus she is so bubbly and friendly she will completely put you at ease and your appointment will pass in a flash!

I am absolutely thrilled with my eye lash lift! I had previous eye lash lift treatments that were unfortunately ineffective for me so I was so pleased with the lash bomb working wonderfully. Jen was my therapist and as always she was very informative and professional before and after. It's never going to be a particularly pleasant treatment, however she was so gentle and made me feel relaxed through the entire process. I followed the after care advice and have not had any problems. I have seen a bad review about this treatment posted recently and I think I may have been present whilst this customer was being patch tested as we were both being informed by Jen about the same treatment - if this is the case it's not a true reflection on what actually happened. I go to Turn Beautiful for all my treatments as it's such a lovely salon and all the girls are fantastic!

I started getting going to Turn Beautiful during the build up to my wedding day and was so impressed that I booked all of my treatments there for the day before my wedding.On the morning before my wedding I had the complete eye package, threading, a body wrap and classic eyelash extensions. I was made to feel very comfortable and was so happy with each and every one of my treatments. Each treatment was performed with professionalism and not once did I feel that the therapist was in any rush to get finished their main aim was to do the best job possible and make me feel completely at ease which they achieved with flying colours. Thank you to Jen and all of the team I will be seeing u all very soon .

Hands down my favorite salon in Brighton, if not in the whole UK! Beautiful natural atmosphere coupled with a friendly face! I have been to so many salons all over Brighton & Hove and have never found anyone I would go back to. Every time I have been to Jen she has been so welcoming and friendly and I can't fault her treatments at all. I would definitely recommend to everyone to have eyelashes done with Jen - She is literally the best! I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else now!

I have been using Jen at Turn Beautiful for over a year now and would not dare go anywhere else! I have had both classic and russian lashes, both of which are done at a really a high standard and much better quality than any other salon I have been to. Jen is amazing at what she does and is friendly and professional. 5 stars all round and a definite recommendation to anyone in search of a new lash tech.

I had a lovely relaxing massage here a few weeks ago, my masseuse was very professional in respecting my privacy and made me feel comfortable to have a nice chat during the massage as well as not feel feeling awkward to stay silent. Definitely recommend

As a treat for my partner, I booked in a full body massage and face pamper session. It was hard to find but that was due to a larch umbrella over the tables for the cafe below covering the 'signage' but found it promptly after a quick phone call. the session with Jennifer turned out to be an amazing success with the missus and so much so. she has booked in for another session next month. Can';t recommend a visit enough... well worth it and can't be bad if we are travelling from Southsea (again) for more of the same. It's cozy and welcoming and, once you're upstairs, a break away from the hustle of the city. Thanks again ... and... well recommended!!!

I've been using Turn Beautiful since Jen first opened up and the services they offer is the best in Brighton. Jen and her team are lovely who always go above and beyond. The Lyon hot wax is amazing, I have curly hair and I've never experienced any ingrown hair since they switched to this wax. Not only do they provide excellent waxing services, Turn Beautiful also do gel nails using a Bio Sculpture Gel, which is vegan friendly and strengthens the nails. Gosia has excellent attention to detail and always knows how I want my nails shaped and the perfect colour for my skin tone. Olivia has recently joined and still maintained that high standard that I alway receive at Turn Beautiful. I can't wait to go back and see Olivia to progress. I'm sure under Jen's supervision she'll continue her amazing journey as a beautician - I had so many compliments when Olivia did my nails for the first time. I've yet to get my eyelashes done, but I've seen other clients and the result are amazing. I love coming to Turn Beautiful and I'm treated like a close friend/family member. If your looking for amazing service, this is the place to go to in Brighton.

Jen is the best. I discovered her amazing lash skills when I lived in the midlands and I used to travel down to get them done when I could. Now I've moved down to Brighton (not just for the lashes haha!) I can get them done all the time, result! In addition, Jen is also a lovely person so a trip to her salon is always a treat.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Jen and Liv went above and beyond for me the day before my wedding day; they even worked through their lunch breaks to make sure everything was just perfect. I literally cannot thank them enough. They literally saved the day after I was given some awful lashes by another company 2 days before my wedding day. Jen did everything she possibly could to squeeze me in to make sure it was sorted and made me feel 100% better. The lashes I got were absolutley incredible and everybody commented on how stunning and natural they looked. Will definitely be back! xxx

I have been going to Jennifer at Turn Beautiful for many years and have followed her through three locations. Why? Because every time I take a treatment I leave feeling wonderful, I look so much better according to friends and family and I know my money has been well spent. If I could afford it, I would go every day!

Turn Beautiful is an absolute gem of a salon. The gel manicures and pedicures are the best around and Jen has managed to turn my marathon-ruined feet (fellow long-distance runners will know what I mean!) into a pair fit for the ball. Definitely recommend.

Can't praise Jen enough - total life changer/saver! I went in a month or so ago with fresh, prominent chicken pox scars and with only three treatments she has made them go away and my skin has honestly never looked so clean and healthy. Thank you so much - I can now go back to not having to wear foundation to cover up nasty scars! I didn't think the peels would be as effective as they were, but thanks to Jen I am super happy and she is now the only person I am trusting with my skin. God send!!! x

I had my first appointment with Gosia today for a wax and an eyebrow tint and shape. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again as I was really happy with the treatments and the prices were reasonable. The added bonus was the experience, Gosia was really friendly and made me feel comfortable. She asked for my input and checked I was happy with the results before I left. Highly recommend and will be going back!

Great gel manicure and facials :)

No matter what I have done at Turn Beautiful, Jennifer always does an excellent job and now Las Vegas also thinks so... A few weeks ago I was in Vegas and had to have an emergency set of lashes done (ruined my set and take full responsibility for that). After refusing to pay $334 in the big hotels for infills, I went to a local beauty salon. The lady was lovely and did a pretty good job at my lashes which only cost $75. She did ask me to pass a message on to "the lady that usually does your lashes" aka Jennifer, quote "These are the best lashes I have ever seen. You can see she is excellent at what she does." And I totally agree! Thanks for always keeping my lashes looking fab x

Massive regrets with my decision to get a lash lift and tint. I went in for a patch test, I had never had any eyelash treatment before, in earnest I asked “what could go wrong?” and the girl shook her head and said “nothing”.. I think we all know there can be risks, so it would’ve been helpful to have this explained. I briefly spoke with a different lady who was going to do my treatment 3 days later and she did not ask any questions or take a look at the lashes (I.e consultation). She also was very persistent that I try a new product, I said several times I’d rather stick with the one that was tried and tested over time, especially as I’d never had anything done before. It actually felt uncomfortable that she kept insisting. I should have walked away then. I got patch tested for both, no problems. The day of the appointment she again insisted that I try the new product, despite me saying that I couldn’t find much online in terms of reviews of the new one and wanting to stick with the existing one etc, then she tried to “blind me with science” as to why the new product was the one to use. I showed her some photos of where the new product had been used (taken from social media) and said I wasn’t impressed. She said neither was she but it’s to do with the technician and hers would not look like that. Again, I felt very pressured, she told me she had used it 4 or 5 times and was going to be teaching the trainers (hence why she needed to get her numbers up). I relented in the end. In discussing how I wanted it to look I said that I had seen some generic reviews online where they had curled too much back into a “C”, and that I did not want this but to achieve a dramatic a look as possible without it going that far. I asked her for her opinion and said I don’t really know what’s best, but to do what she thinks would look the best. Procedure itself- this was really uncomfortable and it felt very rough. I did ask “is it supposed to sting?” and said my right eye was particularly bad, and she blamed me for scrunching eyes up (which I had not) and she then wiped it (which felt like eye was being sliced). It felt like she was pulling and tugging at my eye lashes quite hard, but I was not sure if that was normal or not. She asked if it felt better after wiping and I said um not really. Afterwards with the final look, I thought they looked a bit over curled, she said that next time she would do less lift, and she also said it was good they used the new product as the old one may have been too strong, and I have very fine lashes (good observation to make post treatment)!! I asked her if she was happy and she said she was. As quite a non-assertive person I said they were nice. As I was about to leave she wiped some dermologica nourishing serum over my eye and then instructed me to do it as well, the lashes on the inner left eye were clumped together and bending back. I said they were clumped and she said “oh remember, that was from where your eye was watering wasn’t it” (it was the right eye that had been stinging, but ok). I left the place, thinking I could perhaps comb them through and separate, I just wanted to get out of there! All evening my eyes have been stinging especially the right one, I took an anti-histamine to see if it would help. Now on the morning after both eye lids are swollen, but especially the right one. The lashes look teeny tiny and have shrunk to less than they were before treatment. The inner lashes which are the most delicate are absolutely ruined. I’m very concerned the product was not removed properly. Unfortunately they are closed for 2 days now for bank holiday so I cannot speak to them about this. Overall, I’m absolutely gutted. I highly regret getting it done. Always follow your gut instincts, I wish I had.

i have very sensitive skin that easily flushes and turns red - Jen gave me a wonderful facial massage that really helped to sooth my angry skin - she also recommended products that have been working brilliantly - i would highly recommend a visit to Jen for whatever your beauty or skin care needs are - she is rather great

Dermalogica ionactive facial from Jen was simply the best ever facial I've ever had. The hand and arm massage was sumptuous. My son told me I look 15 years younger! highly recommend .
