This is my second visit in 12 months. I wasn’t a fan of the constant upselling bombardment from the team when I first visited for a simple checkup, but decided to return despite living an hour away as I couldn’t find any NHS dentist accepting new patients. I couldn’t find the place this time around as it’s all covered up due to construction work and looks as though it is closed, I ended up 12mins late and went to the receptionist who told me to wait outside (yes you read that right, the waiting room is the pavement). She came out 8mins later to inform me in a rather rude tone that I was very late and that I’ll have to reschedule, before blaming me for not reading the ridiculously small piece of paper plastered on the wooden board that mentions the place behind the board is indeed Marylebone House Dental. The professional thing to do would have been to send an email or text stating the place was under renovation, I would have also appreciated a heads up regarding the lack of waiting room as I’m sure many patients would. I told the receptionist that I will call to reschedule as I do not like conflict, but it’s safe to say I most certainly will not, and I advise you all to look elsewhere.

Doctor, Dentist Paras Malde of Marylebone Dental Surgery, was called to provide solution to my toothless upper jaw. The mandibular bone and the gums appeared with bumps and the lower jaw was slightly protruded forward. He did work tirelessly, offered me several appointments, his work was sabotaged as the first dental mold returned from the lab broken and had to take second measurements, despite all these challenges, he did an exceptional, great, brilliant, dental work, where he did made a full arc upper jaw denture, beautiful to look at, comfortable and very functional. Apart of being such a professional, great Dentist, he is a very nice person with polite manners, kindness and humanity. Congratulations Doctor Paras Malde, wishing you all the best with your career.

This is Wi-Fi one of the worst dental practices running in London. Do not waste your money on this practice. The worst customer service specially the lady who is in charge of Administration was incredibly rude. From what I gather reading a lot of the reviews the dentist I’ll just as incompetent as the reception staff. Do not waste your money!

I’ve been coming to Marylebone House Dental Practice for over 9 years and have always been happy with the service. Easy to book an appointment (even during Covid, there has been a quick response to email enquiry), with an almost immediately available appointment, with all safety precautions followed. Particularly positive experience with the same dentist that I have had for the past two years - she has been very professional and explains exactly what is being done.

It’s been over a month and I’m still really disappointed with my experience. A few years ago they were good but they’ve become quite negligent with their patients. Particularly the receptionist/front of house. I showed up a bit early for my appt to be told I had to stay outside due to Covid — Not a problem except a warning by email would have been standard. My appt was at 2pm and I waited in the freezing cold til 2.30pm right in front of the practice, then when I went to ask how much longer, turns out the incompetent receptionist “forgot” to book me in. Hard to believe when she registered my name and could see me standing outside. When I finally saw my dentist, it was like a rush job. I did not get a proper clean which I pointed out to him and he said I should return another time. When I headed out to the lobby they had patients waiting INSIDE. I’ve lost faith in this practice on so many levels and would encourage others to look elsewhere.

We use this practice as a backup (as foreigners we tend to "go home" for the dentist, don't you?) Always correct, extremely clean, professional team. I cannot review the "important" e.g.: I don't know how they would react if a root canal/ crown is needed. but for the small and emergencies, they are fantastic. Also, regarding the Covid measures, they are really cautious (communications are clear, the protocols are well deployed, hand sanitizer and masks) Overall, a "nice" experience (and I say "nice" because it is the dentist, let's be clear that it would never be the best plan on earth :D )

Excellent service and very understanding, patient staff from reception to dentists who listen to your requirements. My elderly dad who needed his dentures repaired felt very safe and looked after by everyone we met. Turnaround time was less than half a week for the repair. Thank you for your friendly and very efficient service.

A few years ago it was a great dental practice but now some of it's dentists are more focused on money than the patient's health and try to upsell (like a dodgy used car sales person) on treatment when you have an emergency condition e.g infection, subsequently steering a patient onto expensive treatments whilst deliberating in leaving them with infections for a long period of time. Negligent and untrustworthy prognosis and disorganised practice. Should be reported.

Very grateful to the team for seeing me at short notice to correct a painful permanent retainer wire issue. The first appointment was offered within a few days of my call, and the follow up appointment was able to be booked for the following week. During treatment the practice felt very safe and Covid-ready, and they conveniently allowed for payment over the phone to avoid unnecessary waiting.

I've been here for almost 10 years and recently customer service has deteriorated. I was running 8 mins late and upon arrival was told I had to reschedule. They usually had a 10 minute grace period, but this doesn't seem to be in effect anymore. It could've been better communicated during the time of booking. Receptionist taking the booking over the phone also didn't sound welcoming, she barked that card payment had to be taken over the phone and sounded bored / angry that she had to take a phone call. At present the general atmosphere in the practice seemed tense and very sterile. Nobody working there seemed happy to be there; it doesn't put a patient at ease. I had been going for the past 10 years as some dentists are generally kind but hygienists are hit and miss - you don't get to see the same person more than twice. It is very much run as a business in numbers as opposed to a service people need.

Appalling experience with this practice. My first appointment was rescheduled as the dentist was not available. Half an hour before the re-arranged appointment, I receive a call telling me it won't be an NHS appointment as originally booked. Instead they want to me to go private. Seems like an absolute sham in such trying times! Plus to be messed around like this shows a complete disrespect for other peoples times.

Dentist A was very friendly to start with but when it comes to acutal treatment, he does not seem to care much about the quality. I had a crown but the colour was totally different to my actual teeth and the side of the crown was really rough. As a dentest, he should make sure that the crown fits properly but he does not like to spend time to make sure that the patients are happy. Now I have an issue with this crown and I have to have a new crown. . I dont recommend this dentist, you simply waste your money and time.

The dentist and the reception staff who looked after me were amazing!!! I had a broken wisdom tooth, which has been causing intermittent but severe pain, radiating to the cheek and is causing bad headaches. I initially called 111 and they referred me to a private hospital in Kentish Town. They did an xray (which showed that my wisdom tooth was close to the nerve) and gave me two options (to have the molar extraction done in NHS or with them costing £250). I explored my options and found out about Marylebone House Dental Practice. With the same amount that I paid with the other clinic, I was treated with utmost care and respect. Even when I first registered with them, they explained everything to me, including the costs, the processes, and other possible options. They showed empathy and arranged the soonest appointment possible, although I knew they also had lots of other patients to attend to. When I finally had my appointment earlier today, the dentist examined my dental condition, did another X-ray (which was more focused on the affected tooth), cleaned it, and placed a temporary filling (as an emergency treatment for the severe pain). Not only that, I was told that he will write a referral letter to have the molar tooth removed in an NHS Hospital by a specialist, considering the anatomy and the possible complications if the nerve was damaged during the extraction. He prescribed antibiotics and also wrote down other options if my condition gets worse, such as going to the emergency dental service in Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital. All of this amazing service and patient care was done for me for £22.70!!! I would like to especially thank DR. KOONER for his outstanding and compassionate service (and the receptionists who talked with me and allayed my anxieties over the phone and in person - sorry I didn’t get your names). THANK YOU and I wish you all the best!!! ????

Registered myself and son with this dentist as it was close to my son's nursery. Regular check ups seemed fine, considering they lasted less than 5 minutes. I had a cracked tooth and needed a crown. Not long after, the crown cracked and came out - an amateur repair if I must say. I continued to use this practice as me and my son shared the same dentist (Ali) and it was convenient. He was always friendly and polite and the main thing was my son liked him. There has never been a time where we were seen on time. We always had to wait and have had more than one appointment cancelled last minute. So when we was running 8 minutes late for my son's appointment - road closures and traffic in the area. They refused to see him knowing I had to take time off work and pull him out of school early. I was disgusted by the lack of empathy the glorified secretary had let alone the two faced dentist, who would happily smile in your face then refuse to see a 4 year old for 5 minutes, after all we have waited numerous times for him. I can't stress how much I don't recommend this denral practice. Find a more competent dentist who has staff that actually wanna be there. There are plenty in the area.

Great practice! Picked them up as it's close to work, the website is really easy to use for bookings and now I can ad, that the team is great! Starting from the lovely receptionists who are eager to help, assist and explain and continuing with the professional job done by Dr Paras. I'm really grateful and appreciate their professionalism and will continue visiting them when and if needed.

Totally useless My husband came in with tooth ache, they said his tooth was fine. Pain wasn't going away, we went to another dentist. Actually tooth was cracked!! And had to be removed! I also went in with my little one. First they had no trace of my appointment that took ages to book, just my LO's. Then they found it, but were running late and 40 minutes later dentist saw us both, total 5 minutes!!!! RIDICULOUS. Said tooth were fine, didn't even bother to put a paste as they usually do, and not even a basic clean. Don't go there, they are useless and not interested, just want to take your money.

I started invisalign in November 2018 and completed treatment in August 2019. I am extremely happy with the results! For the first time in my adult life I have teeth that are straight and white. Every time I brush them I am ecstatic with what I see. Dr Ghomeshi ensured my final result was to a very high standard. He has been extremely knowledgeable, approachable, pleasant and friendly throughout. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking treatment of any kind. My experience here has relinquished my fear of dentists.

If I could put 0 i would. Absolutely terrible service. My dissatisfaction with the service I received today. I had booked a hygienist appointment weeks back. I attended the appointment and informed you that I was running a little late, no one told me that this would affect my appointment. I went into the room, the Dentist spent about 15 seconds looking at my teeth, then decided that I needed X-rays (completely unnecessary) I booked a hygienist appointment and that's all I wanted done as I have a dentist that I am due to see in the next few weeks, the reason I used your guys was because you had a hygienist appointment available and mine didn't for a few weeks. Online you say threes no need for a consultation for a hygienist appointment. She then said I needed a filling and all this stuff done when I have not complained of any pain or anything regarding this, i simply wanted a hygienist app. this was completely time wasting and not needed as I never informed you of any issues with my teeth and like I said I have a check up with my dentist in a few weeks. after all of this, she then told me she didn't have time to do my hygienist session. I then had to pay £25 for something i didn't ask for. Really unimpressed with the service you guys provided, very misleading and a complete fob off. I will be looking to take this further as I wouldn't want other people being treated so poorly.

I had an appointment here on the 9th March and I would like to thank the team. The service was very very good, helpful and informative. The Dentist who helped me was very helpful, I was in some pain and he gave me immediate relief. Even though he had to refer me to a hospital appointment, he was able to give me relief and comfort with temporary dental assistance to the extent that I have had no pain or discomfort since. I had attended a hygienist appointment as was advised the day before that I wouldn't be charged as it was the same treatment. Once the treatment was finished I was then told i had to pay, I had explained to the receptionist the conversation I'd had with a receptionist the day before. I waited 15 minutes for the practice manager to speak to me but never did so I left and went back to work. Once I've arrived to work I get a call from a manager called Amanda who honestly has no compassion or understanding and insisted that the conversation I had with the receptionist the day before "couldn't have happened" which really isn't professional because the conversation DID happen, with that she said she'd do an investigation and get back to me. Not even 2 minutes later I get a call from the same manager and she is now accompanied by the lady I had spoke with the day before who incorrectly advised me. She disputed everything which was the truth, kept speaking over me, had no professionalism and it then turned into an interrogation session with both the practice manager and the receptionist trying to bully me into believing their version of events. Also the practice manager Amanda threatened to send a bailiff letter to recover the funds which is absolutely disgusting, I have been wrongly advised and instead of you investigating the phone-call and hearing me out you want to threaten me with legal action????? I UNFORTUNATELY have an appointment at this practice next week and frankly I wish not to come back. I've had such a great experience at this practice from registering in early January, but I guess I spoke too soon. -.-

PROS: Dr Malde is amazing dentist, great care provided. CONS: Lack of transparency prior to the 1st appointment regarding conditions and payment. Client should be informed to decide if they want to proceed with the procedure. I had my appointment in May 2019 with Dr. Paras Malde for an extraction of a broken tooth. Dr. Malde was amazing! Very professional and assertive, provided all the information pre and post procedure and kept reassuring me during the procedure. Even thou he had a small time frame to see me, he took the time to answer all my questions. Couldn't had a better dentist to take care of me. And I wasn't expecting for the tooth be removed on the same day, which was very positive for me. Thank you! On the negative side: My appointment was made under NHS and I was charged under NHS quotes, which is great. It was one of the reasons I choose the practice. What I wasn't informed before the procedure and I couldn't find in the website either, was that after the NHS appointment I had to pre book (mandatory) a new appointment on the clinic for review, and that appointment would be with private quotes and I had to pay up front part of the appointment (I don't recall how much, I think 25%). I was completely caught of guard after the procedure and I couldn't refused since I already had the appointment. There was no transparency in this. I understand the reason but it shouldn't be kept hidden from the client, shouldn't be thrown to us at last minute and the client should be able to decide if he wants to proceed under those conditions. The receptionist was aware it was my first appointment and we had time prior to the procedure to be clarified. I was really unhappy with this lack of transparency. I was quiet happy to come back and I am going to keep going to Marylebone for the excellent care, but the conditions and information regarding these formalities and payment should be discussed before, not been thrown last minute.

I do not recommend this place at all. My usual dental surgery is not open on Saturdays and I couldn’t see my hygienist for a while, so I decided to book an appointment with this place. I’ve been given an appointment and charged in advance for the treatment. I even received a confirmation text message too. On appointment day I got there early and when I told the receptionist why I’m there he said I can’t see your name. I told him I have the confirmation text and I have also been charged in advance, he said I can see the transaction been made but for some reason you’re not booked for today. I got upset and asked for the hygienist to talk to, but even she wasn’t helpful. Finally I said okay I don’t want the treatment just refund my money. I was more shocked when I came to know that they only refund the money via cheques. They’re taking cash or card payments but refunding you only via cheque. (An absolute Rip off) The worst experience ever.

Got an appointment straight away! When I arrived I was met with a friendly smile and my appointment was on time. The dentist Charlie was great! I needed a couple of fillings that he performed there and then. They didn’t hurt a bit and they didn’t hurt my back pocket either. Much more reasonable than other dentists in London. Would happily reccomend them to anyone.

I booked an emergency appointment today due to severe pain from an impacted wisdom tooth. A hefty cost of £60 for a 5 minute consultation that felt rushed with a prescription for antibiotics at the end of it. Based on a previous emergency appointment at another dental practice where x-rays were taken immediately with a plan in place to remove the molars due to the repeated infections and results from the x rays - I was surprised no such investigations took place today nor plans made to investigate this problem any further. The pain has only worsened and with no plan in place I have had to seek help from the NHS emergency services this evening. I was obviously more than willing to pay the emergency rate at the time of booking but totally unimpressed with the level of care received. The dentist also failed to introduce his colleague (dental nurse/assistant) whilst I was being seen. As a clinician myself that works for the NHS I felt that there were some fundamental errors made in the care that I have received today. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this practice based on my experience. However, I felt it was important to raise my concerns so that the service can be improved for others. Please take the time to introduce the team to the patient and thoroughly investigate the patient's presenting symptoms and history especially when the appointment has been booked as a matter of urgency.

I wish to say a massive thank you to the wonderful team at Marylebone House Dental Practice. After years of neglecting my dental health I developed teeth issues. When I visited the Practice I was in pain and my teeth were in a bad state. I was warmly welcomed and after several appointments my teeth are now pain free, healed and yes, I am keeping them clean. Dr Paras is an excellent intelligent caring dentist. He successfully performed complex procedures on my teeth which had exceptional difficult issues. Thank you so much. I am deeply grateful. Booked an 8am so i could get to work after. At 10 past I asked how long it would be and got told the dentist hadn't arrived. When I asked why I wasn't told that when I arrived I was told it 'isn't our fault'. When finally called in after dentist arrived there wasn't even an attempt at an apology. I've been coming for years but staff are really letting this place down.

My wife and I have used this surgery for five years and have different dentists. Both are highly skilled as well as personable. They are also straightforward and honest about procedures and their likely cost. There used to be a high staff turnover in this practice - which may be the root cause of some of the negativity of other reviews. I think this may be a historic issue.

Have been looking at a few practices in the area but as soon as I walked in to Marylebone house I knew this was the place for me. Friendly and polite welcome upon arrival, Charlie made me feel at ease as sometimes when sitting in the chair I get a little nervous. The pricing was clear and I’ve already recommended Charlie to a couple of friends, fantastic dentist.
