On Sunday my car glass broken and my bag was stolen at Griffith observatory parking. It contained important documents which are most valuable to us and takes months thousands of dollars to get them back and also one of us lost his wallet full of cards.
When we went to report this incident, cops there said "It happens all the time in area.". While filing the report, transactions happened from stolen cards in near by gas station less than 3 miles. Cops had no reaction, instead they they informed case will go to detectives on Wednesday. They even made jokes about it saying now you guys refer each other as victim #1, #2 and #3. We were casually told that we might not get the items back at all.
1. If Incidents such as this should not be happening all the time.
2. documents have more value that items that are stolen, sometimes lives depend on it(as in my case).
3. If they have reacted immediately went to the gas station. They could have caught the criminal and retrieved the stolen items.
Its been 2 days and detective department doesn't even bother to answer a simple phone call or respond to voice mail.
I hope police department could take my review as opportunity view their short-comings and improve themselves instead of taking negatively.
I am seriously upset because of lost documents and reaction of police department in this tragic time.

Every time I've had contact with LAPD they have been helpful and courteous. Even when I was getting a well deserved ticket. That almost never happens for me. But these men and women...at least the ones I've met...gave me the sense that they were there for all the right reasons. Didn't feel the power trip vibe I gotten especially from FL police. This is MY experience. Yours may differ. But more often than not it's the civilians attitude that rackets things. Be cool. Be calm. Tell the truth. And more often than not... they will listen.

Great place to waste your time with lazy officers who try to pawn you off to other stations only to be told to to come back here. If you have a traffic incident to report, you're better off not reporting it.

On 6/20/17.a man came through my moms back door & assaulted her in her kitchen. The man tried to get into other houses & then jumped off a roof & disappeared. LAPD n/e div. Responded immediately . The air ship was first.they set up a perimeter & caught the suspect. I am impressed with the lightning response of these well trained, organized officers. I watched them put their lives in danger for the safety of the community & work together with the residents. Their training shows in their professionalism. THANK YOU ! G0D BLESS ! This LAPD NE is a beautiful facility and well deserved for our Law Enforcement. Officer Gonzales was the consummate Professional when we went to make a complaint about suspected criminals in our neighborhood. They are investigating this problem before it worsens and possible fatalities ensue. Thank You LAPD NE for your service.

Called in to report 4 crashed vehicles in front of a business. They said that if nobody was hurt (hit and run on 3 abandoned cars... called about them a month ago) then nobody would respond. Also said if I wasn't the owner of any of them then they couldn't do anything either. Now, instead of 4 abandoned vehicles in front of our business there are 4 wrecked and abandoned cars here nobody will do anything about. Parking enforcement has passed them twice while writing this.

Officer Locke is so nice and humble. So was the other officer at the front desk (didn't catch his name). First time I've come across police that aren't rude or arrogant who seem to really want to help the people in their community. Keep up the positive attitude and the good work. This will now be my go to station. You guys rock. Wish all cops could be more like them!

I was a potential victim of a scam by my property management company and the officers from this division stopped them from doing anything illegal. These are excellent officers. Their pain is they have to cover such a large area. The officers respond to the most important calls first. Acts of violence, personal injury etc. Loud noise, petty theft, are not at the top of the list. The officers from this division are focused on the immediate needs of the citizens under their jurisdiction.
Notoriety of their integrity is a great means of recruiting more LAPD Officers. Originally I was applying for LA County Sheriff Deputy Reservist, but now I want to be an LA Police Reserve Officer and work at this Division.

Called for loud music/noise disturbance after 1:00 am. One and a half hours later the music was till going strong and LA's finest (definite sarcasm) were nowhere to be found. Whether they ever showed up or the party simply ended at almost 3:00 am is unknown. Hope they had fun.

You're doing a great job - with limited City resources.
Before making unfounded, blanket criticisms of LAPD (and law enforcement) I suggest would-be critics turn off the "social" media and go for a ride-along with an officer; work as a police volunteer; speak with crime victims; visit a 9-1-1 call center and see what dispatchers go through every day.

Officer Andrews is the most unprofessional officer I have ever spoken to at this department I called the station and was asked if I could be placed on hold 32 minutes later He hangs up on me. I called again same officer (Andrews) answers and puts me straight on hold if this is what my tax dollars are paying for how the hell do I become exempt. I cannot believe miserable officers are allowed to serve our communities with such disregard to those they swear to protect and serve. Why become an officer if you are going to hate your job and half ass it. This guy needs to be replaced as soon as possible what a waste of money.

I call noise complaint everytime next door neighbours have their tv on at full blast after a certain hour. City ordinance states that if noise level can be heard by house next to you, it is reportable and you can file a complaint. Only once did the police come to my house. By that time, noise stopped. Since then, even when I call for a noise complaint, I'm told that an officer will come by and check it out. Really? Yeah, I end up falling asleep and they never show. Why do I have to suffer at the hands of noisy inconsiderate people living next door with a screaming child all the time? I thought police motto is to protect and serve?

Calling the station is useless. No one picks up and you end up just leaving a message that never gets answered. I called about a dog attack. Will call Animal Control tomorrow instead, North East station is useless.

I called and called and no one answered. I decided to drive there to report the theft of my laptop. I gave them all the information needed to catch the person. They responded by saying you will have to wait two days to get an investigator and that they can not do much. I asked if I could please use their computer, since I lost mine. They said no.
What is the point of having the police if they can not even do their job? They wrote a report as if they were filling out a hamburger order. I don't think that they feel that they are there to serve/help us anymore.

I called them to report an occurrence at a laundromat. After many rings someone picked up the phone. Then hung it up. I was able to hear people talking and laughing in backround. (Total waste of tax dollars).

The officers in this police station are the best !!! i've gotten the chance to work hand on hand with them and its been the best experience ever !!!! Attempted to reach the NE Police Station several times and got the same recording that they were unavailable. A lot of help that is. We need more visibility in our neighborhoods especially now with the illegal fireworks being set off.

I called to ask for help/info for finding/locating a friend that got arrested. The person who answered the phone was SO rude. Just kept saying "I don't know dude" or "I don't know where she's at" and "Maybe she's in jail". NOT HELPFUL AT ALL.
