OK so this place is tucked away so they don't get much through traffic. There is a lot of parking and it never gets too busy so you're always in and out. It's quite a reasonable sized tool station and really well stocked. I went here for a sander which I couldn't get at screwfix.. This will be my first port of call next time. Really helpful friendly members of staff always make the difference too.

I normally shop at the Rustington branch of Toolstation but due to varying stock levels had to go to the Southwick branch instead. I was served by a young man called Dan who was friendly and helpful. Although they didn't have exactly what I wanted, I was recommended an alternative and it's done the job!

Having visited Toolstation - Southwick and Wickes my experience at each could not be more different. In the early days of the government lockdown I wanted to get a few things fixed around the house so I did a Click and Collect for Toolstation - Southwick and Wickes - Hove. At Wickes I was honestly frightened for the staff there, who were bringing out orders and handing them direct to customers, sometimes they were practically hugging due to the bulky / heavy item. Toolstation - Southwick was so much better, staff really on it, great system set up to ensure at least 2 meters distance between staff and customers. Really well thought through and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I haven't ordered again from Wickes, I have however continued to use Toolstation -
