I always visit there and pick up the items order on line. The staff are very friendly, always willing to assist me. I remember that I need find some small screws but only have a sample on hand, the staffs are very helpful and search the category to find the screws for me. Finally they can find it for me. I can says that the items provided by them are value for money and you can also pick a handy category and read it at home before you make the purchase. This category is very helpful for a DIY or tradesmen.

Walked in today at around 11am, was very tidy and clean, books laid out well, supplied with pens as well. The members or staff behind the counter very knowledgeable and friendly, definitely recommend to anyone. Also the prices are very good, always worth grabbing thier catalogue, it's like an adults version of Argos! Well done.

Toolstation in general is very convenient from their opening times to locations down to the vast range of materials and tools they keep. The staff is well behaved and they always go the extra mile to help customers, big thanks to Stu at Portland road branch who always remember customers by their names.

I live in shoreham but prefer to drive to this one as service is far better than the Southwick shop. Nice staff always very helpful and knowledgeable. The guys asked me to give them a review on here and after all there help when I went in, I am happy to do it.

I hadn't tried 'click & collect' before, so l gave it a go, not having been out for weeks. I found it excellent. I had confirmation my order was ready to collect in less than 5 minutes. Their charming staff were very helpful and friendly when l picked it up. The collection arrangements were well thought through. First class!

I have been a customer of Toolstation for many years, however after my visit to the store this evening this will be my last visit. I went into the store or maybe I should say nightclub going by the extremely loud music that was playing, I was stood at the till area for 5 minutes with no one in sight. I could hear the young lady and young man messing about around the corner swearing constantly and talking very unkindly about one of their work colleagues. I had to shout out to make myself known to them, eventually the young man came to the till and I have never been spoken to so rudely by someone in my life. I asked for some advice about door locks and the man serving with ginger hair said very rudely its not my job to help customers with door locks and shoved a catalogue across the counter and said there look for it yourself. He clearly had no interest in being there and certainly had no interest serving or helping a customer, i have never experienced such atrocious customer service or a complete lack of respect for paying customers. I will not be returning and I shall be informing toolstaion's head office of my experience.

I have recently used the Click Collect service. The girl was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. She even told me if there was anything I’d forgotten I could also purchase at the door using my card. Given the circumstances Great job

Toolstation have implemented an excellent system during lockdown, allowing users to order online, receive a text when it is ready to be collected and an almost drive-through experience when picking up the goods - no hassle, no queuing. Bonus: two happy and friendly staff on hand to make the process perfect.

During the lockdown it has been really easy to purchase DIY products from my local store.
The click and collect service in place is excellent..
Both times I didnt need to queue, and within a matter of a few seconds I had collected my items and was on my way.
Staff were very polite and efficient.
