It's a urine smelly carpark, happy to park there! £22 for 4 hours, pricey but very central. Really really smelled of urine!

Unbelieveably overpriced, unmanned and poorly maintained. NCP deserve to be driven out of business.

Dirty, smells, very small spaces, difficult to navigate and £22 for 4 hours. Appalling car park!

Worst ripoff ever suffered in the UK. Parked for 4 1/2 hours and was charged 32 pounds! Signs at the entrance only talk about the early bid flat rate, totally misleading. Stay far off.

Not only in this car park horrendously overpriced but I nearly fell over two injecting drug users, midday, midweek in the south stair well. Car park is unmanned - not even a call button anywhere. It is well known for this so if you don't mind stepping over used needles to pay your £25 parking charge then carry on.

NCP is just a massive rip off parlor. Anywhere you go, I assure you, they'll rip you off. Avoid at all costs for the sake of your wallet.

I feel so mugged off. £32 for being a minute over 4 hours! Should’ve parked on a double yellow line and faced the fine - it would’ve been cheaper!!

Very run down and very very expensive £6 an hour. I live in London and I'm used to high parking charges, £6 is West End level of charging. On the plus side very good location to park for the sea front or the Lanes.

Only park there if you have money to waste. For five hours it costs £35 which is defiantly not worth it. The building is also really dirty and disgusting and the elevators smelled like urine which wasn't pleasant. No car park should be £35 especially this one. This car park is literally daylight robbery and I would strongly recommend parking elsewhere.

I just want to say a very big thank you to the lovely guy working here this morning, his name is Lewis and he helped keep myself and a small child calm and safe, by reassurance, walking us to our car and making sure the unsavoury individual that was following us had gone. It may have been a lot worse had you not been there and I thank you so much for what you did, you are a credit to NCP car park Brighton. Xxxx

Doesn't even deserve 1 star, filthy & a complete rip off. Download the JustPark app, you can park for £12 for 6 hours in the Lanes compared to £32 in the NCP for going over 4 hours

If you go to Brighton by car you need to accept the fact it's gonna be expensive to park! At Least in this car park you feel like you get something for your money, as you can be sure your car will be safe. The whole place is locked up and you can only enter with your parking ticket. Very good location as it's pretty central to everything in Brighton. And it's ideal if you are doing a lot of shopping as you can happily leave your stuff in the car without fear of your new stuff being nicked!

The NCP in Brighton is very expensive. £17 for under 3 hrs. It is in quite a good location but stinks. A drunk homeless man in a tent was shouting fairly loudly round the back. Car access to church Street and pedestrian access to Church Street and King Place and maybe (not 100% sure) to Bond Street, Jew Street and Portland Street. Around 5 floors and lots of spaces.

Beware! My car was broken into at this car park recently and there is no CCTV and poor lighting. Considering the price of the car park I would expect my car to be fully secure with ticket only access, good lighting and CCTV throughout. None of these are present at this car park which has now cost me a laptop and iPad so overall a very expensive few hours spent there. The homeless guy in the stairwell and the smell of urine were far from welcoming. NCP could learn a few lessons from QPark on how clean and secure their sites are. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Only 1 star because I wasn't able to leave 0 This is the worst NCP car park that I've ever parked in, when using the stairwell my son and I were confronted with 3 men injecting heroin! NCP up your game and make the stairwell only accessible to car park users clearly you have major issues with this car park based on the Google reviews, and you have the cheek to charge customers £6 an hour to use it. Disgusting!

Super expensive! Badly positioned signs, no info about how to park with the app. If you already took the ticket, you will pay full fare. There's plenty cheaper places in close proximity!

Crazy expensive. £17 and I was there for 2 hrs 10 mins. Get the early bird offer, of all day parking, arrive by 9am. Or I would reconsider parking here.

It's a car park like many others: designed to fit as many cars in as possible meaning spaces are a little tighter than you'd like. The USP of this one though is the pricing. It's one of the few places where paying the parking ticket is as memorable as the outing itself. Somewhat cheekily the NCP describes itself like this: "National Car Parks is the largest parking provider in the UK, providing value parking for cities, airports and events near you." However it is the closest parking to the theatres in the North Laine so if you don't want a 10/15 minute walk this is the best option. I just try to relish a financially masochistic shock as I shove my visa card into the machine.

As has been mentioned by other reviewers the parking tariff in this car park amounts to nothing more than theft. The sign with the tariffs on is no bigger than A4 and positioned at your cars wheel height so that you will definitely miss it. To save others the trouble, the prices are as follow. 1 hour - £6.00 1 - 2 hours £12.00 2 - 3 hours £17.00 3 - 4 hours £22.00 4 - 24 hours £32.00 If that doesn't put you off, perhaps the strong stench of urine throughout the corridors and lift will! Don't make the same mistake, find somewhere else.

More than ripped off. Pre-booked and paid £32 for 24 hours parking, giving my times as 8am-8pm. Left a bit later and had to pay a further £6.50 on exit despite the fact that I had already paid for 24 hours and actually stayed less than 12. Don't worry, the nice NCP man said at the exit, just go online and they'll refund the extra as you've already paid for all day. Went online and their online chat operator Megan flatly refused to refund. Terrible, terrible customer service.
