During COVID-19 pandemic, they're not issuing paper receipts, which is understandable. They promise not to use your email address for anything other than an electronic receipt but in reality they pass your details, including receipt number and total spend, onto a third party.

so disappointed that your Stevenage branch was unable to build my son's cycle as promised the 'free-build' offer. All the store staff were interested in was stuffing the cycle in it's box in the back of my car. Poor service.

Bike took over 3 weeks to get seen to and despite requesting the tyres be replaced as well as the gear cable all they seemingly did was charge me £22 to pump the tyres up

Twice yesterday I purchased a bike and paid only to be told an hour later that they had sold my bike. On two occasions! I cant get my head round why it would be available on the website if they had sold the bike instore. The guy that wrong me the first time was rude and not very apologetic considering they STILL have my money.

On Tuesday I had a memorable shopping experience at Halfords. The service was excellent from gentleman on the floor and the lovely cheerful lady on the till. Jacko fitted my tyre rims perfectly and I was blown away by their helpfulness.

Can't speak for all staff but the lady that helped me with my car stereo was very helpful. Knew all the additional wires I'd need (and was spot on). Didn't push the removal tool on me even though by right they could have - just let me use theirs. Had a quick Google in store and their's was the same price as elsewhere. Successful trip all round.
