I got my new stereo fitted in my car. It's really amazing with all the required features. Halfords really did an excellent job to fit this in my car. I also opted for their wefit service , which is very much useful. Just order the stereo of your choice and add wefit, that's it, rest is taken care by Halfords. I would highly recommend Halfords for car audio.

Very busy, 3 tills 1 member of staff on till. Then a customer in the queue asks the lady on the till for a bulb for his car. So she goes and gets it, when there were lots of other stuff on the shop floor serving. But he obviously didn't want to wait. The shop itself seemed well stocked, easy to find what I needed. Good signage in Isles for the different areas.

I just find the customer service in the retail shops doesn't match the service centre ones. When ever I have some work done to my car or have an m.o.t etc the staff are super friendly & helpful, but if I need to purchase a bulb or a wiper blade the staff behind the tills always seem to have a chip on their shoulder. I went to the Dagenham store straight after visiting here (due to one of the items being out of stock). Both customer experience was the same, no hello or sorry to keep you waiting, did you get everything you needed today etc. Nope just an attitude & body language that's screams "I don't want to be here so I will put in the minimum amount of effort until the end of my shift".

Aggressive & poor service Sadly, All Halfords does is generate a standard response to every concerns. No effort by the company to provide a genuine feedback. Hope there is a competition so Halford will wake up or be wiped out. Your cycle call centres provide more grief than help customers. They have poor knowledge on what the store/centre can provide and more interested in getting a positive feedback on their service than giving a positive experience to customers. My cycle chain was coming off, so wanted to get this repaired. Organsied to get it repaired on 7th April 2021 at the Dagenham store. I insisted it has to be repaired as I can't use it and this is not for cycle check. On the day, the technician took lots of measurement and told me to come back. The next availability was some 3 weeks later. So, I then contacted Halfords over phone for another appointment for REPAIR with Beckton on the 22nd April. I insisted that this should be a repair. On the day they checked and said the fly-wheel needs repair and that I should buy them from elsewhere so they can replace the damaged part. I then brought the part and made another appointment, the earliest was with your Chadwell Heath store for the 1st May 2021. I insisted that this should be a repair. Immediately I get a email message which states "Free Bike Health Check". When inquired with the person on the phone, she absolutely stated that it was for repair and made necessary notes for the centre to repair my bike. Yesterday, the Chadwell Heath store manager was not helpful (least to say) and said there was more damage to the cycle which the previous store should have picked up (the damage may have been caused because of the number of times I had to put the bike at the back of my car, which incidentally have damaged my car leather seat) . Moreover, he doesn't have a slot to repair my cycle. He said the issue I was facing was not his problem, and said “you have not spoken to me have you?”. Annoyed with the aggressive treatment I have received from all of your stores/centres, I have left my bike at the store, which I assume your store would have binned/discarded. Helpless HALFORDS, please do not provide or publish a service which you are unable to deliver. See below picture of me leaving behind my cycle at the centre, which your centre would have binned/discarded by now.

Daniel from the Chadwell Heath branch is an asset to the Halfords business. From the moment I walked in to the store early morning one day, Daniel greeted me with a "Hello" and a polite smile. He left everything that he was doing and was extremely helpful in initially trying to find a colour match paint for my father's car, followed by ordering it for me in an extremely professional yet friendly manner. The paint arrived the same evening and was collected by me the following morning. I had the pleasure of meeting Daniel again and the experience was top quality once again. Halfords should feel extremely proud to have such amazing employees as Daniel representing their brand.

Forgot to place this review when this service messed up my car, but never is to late to help other people. I took my car for routine service and MOT to this service centre, but when I got to collect it, my dash board was like a Christmas tree. I owned the car for some time, and never had any issues with it until this point. Not sure what they did, but when I challenged them, they came with different excuses and not take responsibility of what they have done. They offered to fit some parts as free labour, but me to pay the parts, which I declined and asked them to fix it. The car was taken to them in good working order, and picked up damaged. The back and forward talks and emails last for some time with no outcome. I took my car to another garage which confirmed that when Halfords service they lift it, they have damaged some suspension sensors (not sure the terminology) or how they managed to get that done. In conclusion, be aware! It looks like they do this on purpose, so they can charge more. I will never take my cars to any Halfords service, and I will make sure that my family and friends are aware of how this company operates.

Thank to the staff at Telford, chadwell heath, who was helpful on the phone and tell me what the best car battery to buy, also a good price. When up in arriving , they were quick to bring out the car battery and had it installed, the guy who did that, was great and happy to help, we had a chat and a laugh, made me feel welcome. I would go back there again to use their services. Well done Halfird staffs.

Went in for a collection I ordered online still had to queue with everyone else buying off the shop floor most people not wearing masks even staff they keep asking people for there email address for a receipt at the till just time consuming especially when the people at the till can't hear the customer through the plexiglass it's just such a slow process in this place.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service Went to the cycling click and collect to pick up some bike accessories. I was standing like an idiot for 10minutes while 3 members of staff ignored me. I tried to get their attention on several occasions and they continued to ignore me After talking to the manager he led me to the motoring click and collect to collect my goods- signage was below standard!! It was the most miserable experience, I WONT SHOP THERE AGAIN!!!

I had a Goverment Cycle Voucher I called to find out if I can use it to replace current tubless tyres with the new ones I purchased. I was told by the call centre they can do it & confirmed with Halfords at Chadwell heath & we can do it & all I need to do is book a appointment. When I arrived the 2 technicians starting making excuses first we cant do it today, I said not a problem I can come back at a later date, Then he told me we dont have any syringe's for the sealant. I told him I can get a syringe & sealant just book a date for me to return at a later date. He told me to call a different Halfords who can do it for me. He didnt even bother doing the basic bike check which he should of done with the voucher. It seemed as though changing tubless tyre was too much work for them & they simply couldnt be bothered. Pathetic customer service never will I return for any bike service with Halford incompetant & lazy.

The bike staff is really rude and unhelpful, I purchased bike and cover of bike from them but they did not even fixed very simple wear and tear, I booked time and appointment three times and they turned me away three time with no help. Don't go to them and waste your time please. AVOID.

Came in to store with my sister to have our bikes checked, we were booked our end of year silver service for cycle care. We arrived on the date and they turned us away because there was no mechanics available even though they booked us in that day. Because of this I lost my silver service as my cycle care just ended the day before ( i was unable to redeem it before because of corona). In the end my sister was the only one who ended getting her service at another store. I just cant trust this store now to carry out any service, since then I am travelling further to tottenham for better service.
