I highly recommend a genuine guy called Daniel. I called the store to ask if I could bring my son’s toy rechargeable range rover ride-on (not bought at Halfords)as it wouldnt move when stepping on gas pedal. They said technicians could take a look and diagnose issue. The blonde guy at counter was quite unhelpful and said its NOT something they could help with and couldnt be bothered to ask anyone. Fortunately Dan was standing next to him and told me to bring in and he’d check out. He checked wires going to pedal and said there was almost 12 volts running through but suspected the gas pedal was damaged through pressing too hard. I bought a new pedal from the online company and fitted today. This fixed the issue thanks to Daniels diagnosis..top man!!

Never go to this Halfords. Paid £5 to get the right brake light fitted and some kid called Anthony messed up my right signal in the process. I had to drive all the way back to Halfords and was told to wait another 10mins. He tried to tell me firstly he hadn't done the job the manager did it, secondly he was rude and telling me it wasn't related to the job he had done when clearly I had no issues with my right signal prior to the visit to Halfords. I explained that I'd only used the signal not working as the dash was flashing faster which was nothing to do with the back until he fixed it which went back to normal. He tried to tell me he did me a favour and fixed it free of charge when he didn't need to do it. Basically don't go here unless you want to have another job needed doing and also if you are a female as they try to mug you off!

Pretty unhelpful, I had come to return a bike accessory and was made to feel like I was in the wrong when clearly the product was below in quality standard. They really didn’t want to help.... not coming here again.

Just not happy with the 2 hours parking time. In that Retail Park are 5 big stores. Dividing the time for each store it make it very difficult tu visit all of them. The only winner of this situation is JUST THE PARKING MANAGEMENT COMPANY.

Went here a few weeks ago and received the worst service I have ever received from a company. There was barely any customers in store so can’t really understand the hold up. Apart from the young girl serving at the till and a young boy who also works there discussing their plans for the weekend. There was a customer in front of me who had been trying to explain to the girl how he required a refund as he had not been given a discount on a trade purchase. Even I can understand what he was asking for. She then told him she doesn’t know how to do it “sorry”. The staff were shouting across the shop to each other discussing their social lives. I then wanted a part for my car, I asked her can we wait to pay so the person who installs it can see if the car is fixable. She then did not understand this simple statement. So I paid for the part. After almost 45 minutes of the staff talking amongst eachother the person who installs the part FINALLY came out to take a look. Who said sorry no can’t fix it. (He was polite-ish to be fair) So now as the part was no longer required I had to go back inside for a refund. The girl did not know how to refund !!!!!! I hope Halfords are not paying her !!!!!!! Finally did it and waited 5 days for a refund on a part I asked not to pay for until the car had been seen. I got home, where my 75 year old neighbour fixed my car for me within 30 seconds. I believe as it was nearing closing they did not want to fix it anyways. Absolutely pathetic the staff in here. Ridiculous.

When I think of Halford it's usually bikes that come to mind and yup they do good bicycles and good prices. The staff are very helpful and friendly and assist in installation of goods like GPS for cars.

Dont bother if you're relying on their online stock check system because it's all fake. Their site says they have an item in stock (can click and collect), i drive for an hour to get this specific item and they don't have it. No apology, nothing. An absolute joke! Wasted my time and journey.
