I had my bike booked in for repair on the Blake's it took the store four days to tell me what was wrong with the bike. Came into the store and the was no staff on the desk which took 20minutes for someone to attend
I have come to this store many time and the service has been better so I can't understand this time why it so poor

I went there on a Sunday morning and the place was half empty of things. Didn't have tyres for a hybrid bike, inner tubes, handles, etc... Half of the stuff was missing from the shop. Then, to pay for a couple of things took nearly more than an hour... Very poor management....

Went in to buy a headlight bulb for a Smart for two. The bulb was quoted at £12 (twice the price in Amazon) - which was fine, because I do not mind paying the extra price in a shop. I was offered a fitting service for £8 and decided to go for it as I though it would be better to leave it to the "professionals". The bulb fitting that they did can be described by one word - APPALLING!. While fitting the "prrofessional" managed to pull the bulb holding clip out, which is again not a big deal if one knows how to put it back. Then this another "professional" was called, who inserted the clip the wrong side in, left the bulb uncliipped and loose and the headlight as a result completely misaligned, pointing very very low. I had to redo the whole thing again, clip and all. It could have turned out very dangerous for me as I was driving that evening and had I not decided to take a look at how badly it was fitted, I could have been a traffic hazard,. It is SHAMEFUL of Halfords to have this level of service. In the end I ended up paying £14 extra and redoing the whole thing myslef anyways.

If you come here post lockdown you can expect the following:
- Long lines that start before the store opens, and move incredibly slowly
- Stressed, angry and abusive staff
- That Halfords will use every opportunity to upsell you on items/repairs you don't actually need

Very poor service from start to finish. Told me bike would be ready by a certain date. Bike wasn’t ready by date given, no courtesy phone call. Had find out in store after leaving work early that bike wasn’t ready. Given another date, then expected date was delayed twice, again no phone call. Had three wasted trips. Very unprofessional and disorganised service from store

If your here for bikes you came to the right place never go cycle king their staff approve problems without having to take it back or take it apart so they don't charge you and they don't brake your bike so you pay for them to repair it!

A pathetic customer services I ordered my bike it was delayed 3 times changing the order making me go to the store one 2 occasions without notifying me they do not have my purchase
I ordered the bike was told to collect twice I went on the day I was told to collect and when it wasn’t there I became upset asked to speak to the manager Ray who instead started to yell at me for coming close to closing time he has to go home when in fact they told me to come at this time
Pls I urge you use another store not this branch and certainly not this bully in management

I came to this branch after having issue with customer service manger and staffs in chingford branch after fitting my radio which was appalling fitting with glue all over it i filed a complaint to the head office who were quick to assist i explained i didnt want to go back to them first waited ages to have it installed then terrible staff left me hanging there for hours the head office arranged for me to in to chadwell heath branch where i met dan who had excellent customer skills and was ever so polite quickly changed new facia of the vehicle refunded my fitting and also gave a free gifts such polite staff cant praise him enough i will not ever be going back to chingford but will definitely go back to chadwell heath 5 star to this friendly welcoming branch

Very poor customer service at Chadwell Heath branch bike repair service. When you bought a bike from them they surely persuaded you to buy bike care plan but when you go up there for a repair, they only interested in selling the products and not repairs. We were told there was no storage avaiable to take our bike in for a repair and asked to come back in about 2 weeks time.When we went there in the morning to get bike tool kit & mentioned about the problem with our bike & were told to bring the bike over any time to get it checked up and can pick up in few days time. When we went back again with our bike, we were asked to wait there for about 20 mins while they were serving other customers in selling items. And the same guy came up to us, didn't even look at the bike properly and said he knew what needs to be done on the bike it may cost appox £50 to buy materials but no repair cost to pay as I took out a care plan when bought, and asked to bring the bike back again after 24th July as they were busy and theres
no room to keep our bike in storage. I said I dont care about buying materials and can wait until it get fixed but wanted to leave the bike there at same time however they refused take the bike in at there store and asked us to go to different halfords. I rated 1* for the service I received today.

Very helpful staff. Disabled parking slots right outside the shop front and the shop is largely accessible too. Just a few corners that are too cramped to get to, but the staff are there to assist if needed.
