I contacted Amanda Ellis from Reed regarding a job I had seen on the Reed website. Amanda was quick to respond to my application via a phone call and after a conversation regarding the role to ensure it was a position that would suit me, my CV was forwarded to the recruiter. I was offered an interview and was then lucky enough to secure a 2nd interview after which I was offered the role. Amanda was encouraging and professional at all times and I am sure her support throughout the process helped me secure the role.

Recruitment consultants do not always have the best reputation and many are primarily interested in a hard sell and high commission. I have been pleasantly surprised by the integrity of Dan Kennedy of Reed Brighton. He is genuinely seeking a good match for candidates and clients, is excellent at keeping in contact even if there is nothing specific to report and is highly professional and trustworthy. I went to the Brighton office and met Faye Davies . Faye was fantastic, she listened to what i wanted (unusual for a recruiter who are usually driven on commission) and got me an interview within 24 hours for a role that was perfect for me. I've never had very good experiences with recruitment agencies but this place has changed my view. From the start my recruiter Ryan was friendly , helpful and great at keeping in contact with me. The sign up process was easy and it wasn't long before he found me a job (which by the way is hands down the most enjoyable job I've ever had!) and just because hes found me a role doesn't mean I'm off his radar, If I send him an email about my time sheets or with random questions he replies straight away, which is the complete opposite I'm used to from other agencies. I just wish Id tried REED sooner!

I dealt with Amanda Ellis and she was there 99% of the time everytime I called or if it was at lunch I got a call back as soon as she was back at her desk!
