In the circumstances, COVID-19 pandemic, I think that the store is managing pretty well and ensuring that their customers get a good service yet maintaining good social distancing.
My only suggestion would be to have two separate queues to separate those with pre-orders and returns et cetera separate from those with other enquiries.

Warning. At the moment, you can only buy online and pick up from here or buy something if you know what you want before going. YOU CANNOT ENTER THE STORE to,say, see anything before buying anything. This is not mentioned on the website nor is it obvious when you are queuing.
