Saddened to say I recently spent over £21000 on a used car at Paynes and at the moment its the biggest mistake of my life! these guys are quick to promise you the world and take your money, but sadly not interested in resolving the handful of issues they promised to rectify prior to delivering the vehicle, I spoke to them and then emailed them two weeks ago and I'm still awaiting a response?, shocking customer service!!!
I've just emailed them again and hopefully once they finally get in touch I'll be able to update with something more positive but for now i feel totally let down having spent my hard earned cash with them...
Just a couple of the pic's of the condition of the interior of my new vehicle as it was delivered, yet they're adamant its not bad as they've valeted it twice? £21000?

I always like to take my car here. When you send it in for an MOT, you get a narrated video inspection, so that things make a lot more sense to those of us whom are not experts with all things on a report. This idea of a narrated video is trully inspired. Well done Paynes, and keep it up !!

Great customer service, contact and information from the salesman (Chris). Deal was good and my Puma was delivered today to Leeds with a full tank of fuel. The delivery man was also really helpful and friendly. Thanks to all at Paynes. I would definitely recommend.

I'm not surprised to read other reviews of poor treatment, my case was no different. Great at taking your money, no proof of the aervice being donw properlly, just a print out. Some garage staff that just look at you without so much as a hello. Maybe they're just unhappy there, which I can understand.
I feel they spun me a story just to maximise the amount they could justify charging me. Almost £600 later I'll take my business elsewhere!

Absolutely lost all faith in Ford as a company, my Van I have owned from new and was just out of warranty when it broke down received no help or goodwill from Ford and the problem was misdiagnosed into a major problem when I’m reality could have been and was solved much easier by a competent local independent mechanic at a fraction of the cost quoted at my local Ford agent. Absolutely unbelievable how wrong they were and the arrogant condescending manner in which we were treat, would NOT recommend Allen Ford Nuneaton and Payne’s of Hinckley At All AVOID at all costs.

I have my work van serviced here and have dealt with commercial sales and car sales. Sales side are excellent in cars and commercial vehicles and extremely helpful, whilst commercial service is getting better it can be difficult to deal with. All in all i would recommend them.

Paynes just delivered my new Focus Estate Active X Hybrid today, with a full tank of petrol. We got a great deal and the sales experience was no hassle, and the delivery guy was great too. Very polite, friendly and helpful. We'll DEFINITELY use Paynes again.

Ford ranger booked in for recall and to have new spare wheel fitted where it has been stolen. Dropped off 4.30 yesterday and booked in for today.
Arrived at 4.30 to collect to be told it would run into tomorrow. Basically it has not been looked at. No recall carried out and not spare put on. I had to take a day off work as it’s a work vehicle to be fobbed off. Last time ever I use them for service.
Do not use their commercial service department go elsewhere

Having the most dreadful experience with this companies service department. 3 week old Transit Connect gone in for warranty repair power steering failure. Service receptionist attitude disgraceful, laughed at me on the phone. Refused to put us through to management evidently they are all at lunch. Told us if we weren't happy to take it somewhere else , formal complaint has gone into Ford Head Office. This person has absolutely no empathy or idea on how to deal with customers who already experiencing a bad enough situation. Evidently they might get to look at it next week,.

Went up to look at cars on the forecourt when the showroom was closed and was rudely asked to leave via security camera system. I think it’s a bit extreme. Treated like a thief. Car snobbery from Ford... apparently AMG Merc drivers aren’t welcome ????
I had my car repaired at Paynes repair centre once. I asked for an auto courtesy car but got manual. The repair was pretty fast and they even cleaned my car which was nice. The lady at repair centre was very friendly and helpful.
Had a chat with one of the sales guy and got my car valued before the lockdown in March. No fence but lack of knowledge about other car brands. Last month I got it valued by the garage I bought it from and they valued it for 3 grand more that Ford did 6 months ago!! It’s a shocker.

We have been running a business for many years and had a number of vehicles but I have to say Paynes Garage was the best service we have experienced over the years. Alex was fantastic, he went out of his way to meet all our requirements and the service he gave was knowledgable, professional and extremely enjoyable, for once we felt like we were dealing with real person. I can honestly say that I would recommend going and having a chat with Alex, you won't be disappointed.

Rude and Snotty Receptionist Ann Sharky. Very rude and condescending when I phoned for help. I know the car didn't get serviced last month as I didn't have the money, no excuse to be rude and nasty about it when a customer of 20 years is in need of help after a 1 year old car breaks down and still under warranty! Very angry. And to top it off it was clear that she was annoyed to answer the phone, sorry to disturb you! I've bought 8 cars from you, and my family has bought cars off, and have always used paynes for parts and servicing, and accident repair and bodywork. I expected to be treated better.

Good and courteous service. Got my Galaxy serviced and under warranty repaired by them. Tried to help with most cost effective service and work. Although I did not agree with couple of seat belt buckle covers which seem faulty and broke and I think should have been a warranty repair. However rest of work done very well. Generally very good and decent service. Huge and significant improvement from Allen Ford in Coventry and Nuneaton. Would definitely go back again and recommend it.

Mainly use parts dept. Friendly, helpful staff. Prices always better at Paynes, compared to other Ford dealers. Often have engine oil on offer. They did a fuel system service a while back on my Transit. All Ok, good communication from service dept.
