I am very sorry about this company "The Laptop Shop" and I do not recommend it because they have repaired my daughter's original model Huawei P20 Lite smartphone (year 2018) for breaking screen and display using no-original parts without notifying the customer. The only information was the total price to be paid. Then they did not accept payment by credit card, so my daughter had to pay cash with additional commission costs to go withdraw the money at cash machine. I conclude and confirm that this company was not very serious. In fact it was obliged to inform the customer that he used no-original pieces. Now I'm having the smartphone repaired in Rome (Italy) because the colors of the display are clearer and more blurred than the original, while the screen is devoid of the writing Huawei.

I had a deep clean on my macbook. Someone recommended it to me. I left it for a couple of days and had to keep chasing when it would be done. When I picked it up I asked what they had done or noticed and it had some dust cleared off the fan. Not long afterwards it was getting quite hot so I went to the Apple store for a diagnosis. There was a problem on the CPU. Left it for repair and it was still under warranty. I had a call from the engineer asking if my computer had been tapered with. It seems that the Laptop Shop had done something and applied some paste which was not Apple certified which was causing the problem and invalidated my warranty. So now I have to pay 350 GBP to get that sorted out. No reply from the shop regarding compensation. They are not Apple certified so would not take Apple devices there

Save your self the hassle and money and avoid this shop. The people are conmen. I Took my iPhone 6 in there to fix the screen which first of all cost me £100 rather than the usual £80 for a brand new, immaculate screen. The problems started as soon as I looked at my phone. The screen didn't sit in my phone properly. The next thing I noticed was when I turned on my phone there were marks on the LCD and the screen was faded. All this aside I was happy to have my phone back the same day... Until my phone got stuck in bootloop and started freezing. I took my phone back to the shop as soon as was possible and explained the problem, they said they were happy to fix it and to come back later that day, which I did. The next day I found myself back in the shop explaining that they had not fixed the problem for them to try and blame me to the screen not fitting in the phone! Anyway they said that they would look at the problem "as a favour to me" at that point I was fuming but I let them get on with it. When I went back they told me that it was a problem with my battery (which was absolutely fine before I took it too them) and that it would cost me a further £40 to fix. So for anyone looking for a quick repair absolutely do not go here! Save yourself the time and money and use a better service (my best recommendation is IPhone fixer)

I bought my high end Asus gaming laptop via them. I had my previous laptop died and I needed a new one quickly. I ordered one via another shop but it couldn't get it for another 3-4 weeks. So first the laptop shop promised me they could have it within a week, My laptop was also coming with a gaming mouse, a laptop rucksack and a headset. I asked the manager to ensure that the laptop was coming with all the accessories. He gave me the guarantee that it will as he had spoken to his supplier. My laptop then didn't turned up before 2 1/2 weeks later. So only a couple of days before the other shop. Then it didn't arrived with the accessories. Now it has been 2 months that I am chasing them and they keep pretending that it was was a limited edition only and that they can't do much more than to ask Asus if they have any spares. Also my laptop was not an official British laptop but an American import. Then my laptop was coming with a bluray player. I noticed that there was not stickers anywhere about it on the laptop or on the drive it self (which is very unusual). So I checked the code under the laptop. I discovered that it was actually the code for the model without the bluray player. So the only way for the laptop to have the bluray drive was that somebody replaced the drive. When I confronted them they said that they had no idea and the manufacturer might have made a mistake with the labeling. So all this make me suspect that their supplier is from a dubious source in the US. As friendly they looked before the sale, they became as unhelpful and didn't care as soon I paid and they delivered me the laptop.
