Disappointing service. Was quoted a price for removal and re-fitting of a bass box from my car. Initial contact was good and the bass box was removed from the car on the condition I paid half for the total job which I did.
After sending pictures of the car it was going back into , communication slowed down to the point where I didn't get a reply to messages. I got overcharged for removal and I am now left in situation where I need to find someone else to re-install it. Extremely unprofessional.
Re the reply below. There is certainly no mistake in which cartronics it was as there is only one in West Byfleet. I was offered the 'out of workshop' price hence the reason I can't sue you for a breach of contract right now. I suggest you speak to your staff !!

Great service by Andy and Mark. I had a Pioneer Avic fitted in my 911 997 after reading positive reports about them on the 911 UK forum. The Pioneer has transformed the car allowing me to use handsfree Bluetooth to make calls and brought me up to date with Apple Car play. The price was competitive and the service first class. Highly recommended.

Great service. After making the error of using a well known chain car parts store and having issues with them I called cartronics and my new radio was fitted perfectly in just over an hour. They helped set the radio up and tweaked any issues before I drove off. Very happy customer and will use them again and reccomend to everyone.

I snapped off my car antenna by not removing it in the car wash - yes very silly! Went to get a quote and nearly fell over when I'm told that it would be £140 plus vat ! Ok so it has to be fixed from the inside. Came home had a look at YouTube and there was how to do it through the light fitting and it's literally a ten minute job . I will do it myself. I hope this is not because I am a woman who came in on my own and I don’t know how a screw can cost that much money . Avoid

In response to your reply i didn't go back to the original installer nor did i say in my review that i did, once again lacking attention to detail.
need a Ariel fitted to an aftermarket car stereo. they wanted to refit it and do a diagnostic on the cars electrics when all that was required was a Ariel to be fitted. was quoted either £95 for diagnosis then fitting or £125 for refitting, so went to Dynamic sounds in wandsworth who helped fast efficient service and done in mins and all for £20. Would not recommend cartronics as even though i didn't use them they didn't really take in to account my requirements or what i had requested needed to be done to make the radio work

I love this place! Fantastic looking shop, great staff and top class workmanship.
I recently had them replace my old Mercedes stereo with a Bluetooth unit and iPod connectivity. They walked me through the whole process to pick the right setup for me and carried out all the work in a time that suited my schedule.
I’m over the moon with it. Great sound quality, phone and iPod connectivity for me and DVD player for the kids!!
The whole experience is worth every penny.

Price was quoted but didn't include vat. Only found this out when it was too late. They wanted to charge me 891gbp plus vat to repair my amp yet a new amp was only 1200. Place just felt like they couldn't be trusted. They were far from open honest and upfront. With hidden charges and inaccurate estimates for work

Massive thanks to Cartronics for great service and workmanship.
I brought my fully custom Subaru Impreza P1 in to have the factor alarm replaced. It came to them as non runner with rubbing bodywork and no brakes.
The vehicle is particularly difficult to work on as it has been so heavily modified with a full roll cage and a fresh interior paint job. It also has a non standard wiring harness that has been chopped about on more than one occasion by other garages over the years.
They were very accommodating and helped me get the car on off the trailer as it is not road legal etc.
They did a top notch job installing the new Sigma Alarm as a direct factory replacement which includes altering the factory wiring harness to suit the new control module.
Thanks a lot guys and hope to see you again in the future.

I had a code error problem come up on my dash on my X5 e53 model which said Code____ This made the ignition not start and making the car go into shutdown. (Only way to start it was bypassing the starter motor with ignition turned on which is what I had to do)
After seeing my mechanic he advised me that Cartroincs would be able to help resolve the problem recoding the car and disabling the fault . I called them that morning they said pop down and we will try and fit me in ! After Cple of hours they had the problem resolved and I was off on my way. Friendly staff clean workshop .. These guys wouldn't be around for this long if they didn't know what they are doing. Highly recommend them and if you have the same vehicle and this fault comes up and live in the Surrey area you know where to go.

I used Cartronics to retrofit front PDC and a reversing camera to my BMW and am delighted with the result. Their installation was faultless being indistinguishable from the factory fitted product and included all necessary programming. Certainly worth the 400 mile round trip as I could find no one locally with the same level of expertise.

The guys at Cartronics are frankly brilliant. I don't say that lightly. I drove my car 450 miles and took a boat to bring my car from Belfast to London.
I had a bad sound distortion issue in a Porsche that even the official Porsche Belfast dealership couldn't resolve. I had replaced the head unit, the amp, the speakers and still the problem persisted and I was no closer to a resolution.
In total I had wasted 5 months going from auto spark to auto spark to auto spark only to be told to "live with it" in the end. Speaking with Andy and Mark filled me confidence that they could fault find the issue and they did so in just 40 minutes. I was amazed. Not only did they fault find it quickly, but it was a fix while U wait service.
A 900 mile drive and 1 fixed car - FINALLY.
The modifications they then proceeded to do with my old extremely dated car stereo has given the car a new lease of life.
This is one very happy camper and can't recommend Cartronics enough!

I cannot rate Cartronics more highly. Mark dealt with me personally, and was always quick to reply when I had a query. They even arranged a Skype call to help me correctly install and set up my equipment. Phil was also extremely helpful and spent time on the phone to me talking things through. At one stage before contacting Cartronics I had started to lose hope and began thinking I would never get my new head unit installed in my Japanese import. Cartronics changed all that and I am very pleased with the results. No need to go anywhere else. Wherever you are in the country, Cartronics will sort it.

After scouring the Internet and alot of car audio companies in the UK it took one enquiry via email to cartronics, they could not help any more than they did offering all alternative stereos to suit my vehicle, once I had decided which one to go for they were on the ball straight away sending all the information I required, once the system had arrived there was a bit of head scratching and they were only to happy to help over the phone and by email. Stereo now fitted all working the way it should and would definitely recommend Mark and his team to anyone.

Contacted Cartronics to upgrade my Bluetooth to allow me play audio in my BMW 1 series and had just purchased. After a series of checks they confirmed they are able to do it so paid a deposit to book an appointment. Throughout the process, the team at Cartronics were quick to respond to any questions I had. I contacted them to cancel appointment on day of appointment as I had to return the car to the dealers following a fault on the car. They were happy to refund even though they didn't have to.
I will certainly use them again.

I phoned the team at cartronics as my own local specialists had failed to install my.mobridge correctly and said they had exhausted all outlets . After 2 minutes on the phone myself to ( andy I think it was ) ,I realised they basically knew exactly what the issue was . Gobsmacked to say they then arranged to telephone call my.local.fitter when I next dropped off the car and talked him through a successful install remotely within 15 mins ( been charged 2 hours by my local compsny the day before for nothing really ). Offered to pay cartronics for their time and they were having none of it, just happy to help . Outstanding , good old fashioned business principles . I only wish they were local to use personally . Bose Sound system on my Mazda completely died.
Didn't want to wait a week to get main dealer to look at it so entrusted car to this company. They assured me they had the relevant service documentation for my model and would be cheaper than main dealer.
Charged a diagnostic fee (and not told like others have said, that VAT not included. They then charged extra to fix the amp - calling it a factory re-set which I later found out actually means withdrawing a fuse and putting it straight back in again - £150!! Failed again soon after so took it to main dealer who did the "reset" on the spot free of charge, I had also asked them to check the alarm system which was randomly set off for no apparent reason. They couldn't find anything wrong but it still has the fault which to be fair has defeated Mazda techs as well.

If you are considering adding Bluetooth connectivity to your mid 2000's Porsche, VW, Audi or Mercedes then Cartronics is the place to go. Mark has been a tremendous help, extremely knowledgeable on Mobridge products, unbiased advise and undoubtedly the best after sales support I have ever experienced. I can't recommend Cartronics highly enough and know if I ever want products or assistance in the future Cartronics will be my first call. 10/10.

I was tempted by their offer of a 1 hour diagnostic service (£70 + vat) for my car's sound & sat nav system, so I made the booking 3 weeks beforehand for a designated time slot & arrived on time for the appointment. I then waited around in the showroom for 45 minutes for them to start. It was only when I asked why there was a delay that I was told that they wouldn't be able to start on mine for at least another hour as they were busy working on another car! by which time I was hoping to be back home (15 miles away).
At no point while waiting was I told there would be a delay or even offered a drink while I waited, I was just left sitting there while other customers came in, waited & walked out again. I was in the position of being able to spend a considerable amount of money on a new system if it were needed - not now though! Sorry guys, but you badly need to sharpen up on your customer relations skills "massively" to keep in business - there are other companies out there who will now get my money. I think if I wanted a high spec system from the start they would have been all over me, but please don't offer a service you're not prepared to fulfil. It was a 3 hour waste of time. Highly recommended. Had a dead screen on my Mercedes Comand NTG4 unit. Sent to them for fault diagnosis, 2 days later received fully functioning screen back. Excellent comms from them throughout, and full layout of charges provided before they commenced any work. Cheaper than alternative car tech engineers offering similar service for my fault.

Great job! Not the cheapest one, but you have to pay for the quality. You can have a cheap job from halfords, and you can call the firebrigade next day :) The Cartronics is the most professional company in the UK !

Very little customer service no advice or help and ordered me the wrong loom.
When I ordered the wrong CD/Radio they were not willing to make a small charge for my mistake and order the correct CD/Radio so I could have that fitted. So they kept the £50. Deposit and I left empty handed. Never to return.
Its OK but may be I got it wrong.

I turned up out of the blue as the Mobridge Bluetooth unit wasn't working in my Porsche that I had just bought. Even though they hadn't fitted the item, they quickly diagnosed the problem, re-programmed the car and the mob ridge unit and had it all working within an hour and then assisted with getting my iPhone to connect and run through what they had done. Good work guys!

I went to them today for a quote to fit a Alpine CDE-174BT to my BMW 320d (2010) and was quoted £800 + VAT as labour charges + the cost of CD Player. I was taken aback by their big appetite and asked them for detail. They gave me all lame excuses and started explaining me how many different parts they would need and the amount of time it will take them to do the job. I cant believe how dishonest these guys are as i already had 3 other quotes in range of £300-£350.
Avoid these idiots at any cost for any fitting or diagnostics.

Disgustingly overpriced. Went and got a stereo harness with facia and aerial converter and got charged £60. I was shocked but didn't think much about it, but that's over 6x more expensive than online. Don't go here.

Sent car Bose amplifier to them for testing. They charged me £90 and said it was fine. Took car to Porsche specialist who tested system and said amp was faulty? Reluctantly ordered new amp to discover it solved the problem. Contacted Cartronics who refused to accept that amp was faulty after their extensive testing?????Absolute rip off !!!!!!

Mark was very helpful in helping me with my Mobridge device on a car that I recently purchased which already had bluetooth installed. I managed to unpaid devices, re-pair new devices and even get audio working over bluetooth following an update to firmware and the default settings. Really happy to have it working now and would strongly recommend these guys.

I used Cartronics a few years ago, so it was a first choice for my BMW 430i for a dash cam install. Great advise and such a neat, clean install. So then I decided to upgrade my Jeep's uConnect radio, for the latest Kenwood....and at the same time they advised on and replaced my front and rear dash cams. Very impressed. Both cars were done in good time and I can't recommend them more highly. Thank you Cartronics.

The guys at Cartronics carried out a Pioneer upgrade install to my Porsche Boxster S fitted with bose whilst I waited. They were very helpful with there advise/ recommendations on the system fitted, quick and efficient install! The system is a 110% improvement over the standard PCM nav fitted. Will highly recommend them!

My item (HK enabler for Mini Cooper with Harman Kardon sound system) was dispatched from UK and received in Malta the next day! They used DHL. Hats off, it was unexpected! HK enabler was packed in a box full of paper shred so it doesn't move around.
I must say that the item is plug and play as advertised and it works like a charm!
I would prefer it to be not only in a air sealed bag but also you should regulate the humidity in the place you store them in your premises because the ISO connections have already tiny signs of rust. It's really minimal but for sure it will affect the product in a few years.
Another thing is the lack of communication after the order. I had to ask 2 times through email 1. when my item is going to be dispatched and 2. to provide me with the tracking number. I am selling on ebay myself and the first thing after dispatch is to provide my customer with the tracking number.
I am sure these 2 issues can be fixed easily and I happily recommend you. I will definitely buy or use your services again!

I brought a Mercedes E350 to Cartronics West Byfleet at first to have the speakers upgraded. The work was completed less than two years ago and when completed I felt the sound could be improved. Cartronics recommended I install a focal amplifier and subwoofer. I had the System installed and for the first month there were consistent issues with the unit shutting down. The issue became so consistent the shop installed a special fuse so I could reset the system. This was less than two years ago and cost roughly £2000. Ten days ago the system just quit while I was traveling. I brought it in to Cartronics and was advised I would have to pay £95 to have them diagnose the issue. I was advised it was a failed unit and that there was nothing they could do because Focal didn't make the unit any longer. It cost me £200 additional to have the car re-wired back to original without the subwoofer and amplifier.
I expressed my displeasure that the system they recommended didn't even last two years and didn't receive as much as an apology.
I'm disappointed to say the least. I feel at a minimum they could have re-wired it back to original at their cost since the system was their recommendation and proved to be a poor one.

Had Rav4 ECU problem, Got help all the way from Mark. Initial diagnosis correct, confirmed on test vehicle, repaired, returned and then I refitted it. Marvellous. The Rav4 might have 4 security screws that need to come out. These are 5 point star security (not 6 point) and hard to get the bit. Got a set from Amazon for about £8, removed and replaced them dead easy. Cant believe that I could have spent over a £1000 on a transmission overhaul.
Would definitely use Cartronics again (but hope I don't have to!). Cheers guys, Frank
