Excellent venue for an event, the river room has a great view over the Thames and the theatre is a good size for a corporate presentation. The screen can lift to reveal a further events space idea for an after-party. Blackfriars station is a short walk away.

Had a conference there last week. The auditorium was big and comfortable fit 600 people. The location is great and easy to get to. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the food was very poor. Maybe had to do with the budget of the conference but I remember my school lunches being much nicer.

Located on the embankment in London
The Mermaid is a great theatre and conference centre for able bodied people.
However for disabled customers it is not ideal as it's very spread out and nothing really flows so it's very confusing as to where to go.
Also some corridors are very narrow.
So possibly bear this in mind.

Just attended The Great Debate 2012 and it was great! Staff very pleasant, accommodating and professional. Toilets clean and well accommodated.
Auditorium is nicely appointed and BIG! Good views from every seat.
Only let down was the seats are HARD! Tough after a 9+ hours and then 6 hours sitting!

Went to a conference. Staff were poorly trained, in the wrong places and not enough of them to man the drinks at the refreshment area. It seemed like management was the issue as the staff were trying their best. Management was running around looking very unpleasantly at staff.

Authentic conference and special events space. It's pretty customizable for your needs. There's a load of smaller branch rooms. If you're not a fan of stairs, this could pose an issue. They also have a beautiful wall of windows over the Thames.

Went to see friday night is music night recorded. Staff at venue were welcoming got us in early because it was raining. Bar staff helpful and efficient. Drinks were reasonable and the whole place was clean.

One of the better conference venues I've been to. Comfortable seating in rooms with very little intrusive noise from outside. Decent food. Staff were professional. Just a shame that, being just behind Blackfriars Station, it's such a pig to get to a lot of the time.

Good centre.
Terrible toilet facilities, expected to have 1000 people to a conference, ended up being one available toilet for men 3 urinals and 2 stalls.
Otherwise good and clean. Overall space was good and excellent views.

I attended a tech conference at the Mermaid and I thought the facilities were very good. Spread over a few floors with plenty of space and a good auditorium. Definitely a good venue if you are looking to book a conference.
