I am dell engineer I fix laptops I went to a lady in 2017 who was a fosters rep she miss sold me a pension she phoned me every day till i put my life saving in I complaint and got 2k compensation and agent was let go I sidnt get a call form new agent for nearly 2 years to tell me. I was told I could keep pension till 55 and have all my money back. Just been told by my adviser I am not aloud to have it for several more years i called office today and spent some time explaining only to be laughed at i am thousand of pounds out of pocket and have no answer to when i will get it. I am starting legal proceedings now please beware caused me great anxiety for some time now

Had a complete and utter shambles of an experience with them, trying to retrieve money from a matured ISA with them. Customer service was utterly terrible: misunderstanding my emails, sometimes not even reading them, giving me bits of information in multiple emails rather than just one email with complete information. Their whole system is set up to waste paper and your time. Took me over a month and 15 emails to actually receive my money.
Just don't bother. They're a backward company, not moving with the times and not wanting to either.

Stay away from this so called financial company, forget about investment growth but will be lucky to get all your money back, even for a long term investments. Not sure how this company allows to run this business, Especially when they put your children's money at risk.

Really helpful, quick and easy to set up. Matt visited me on my lunch break in Bath and talked me through all of the options and we looked at the best investments for me - couldn't have been easier and Matt was happy to answer my questions a few days later. Top notch customer service!

Brilliant service. Had a an advisor come out to see me and that service was free. helped me with children’s savings and my own. The funds are performing better than I had expected in the time I’ve been with them. Would recommend to anyway. Professional and friendly

Have been trying to switch from this company to a better investment platform. I have been waiting for almost 3 months to transfer £5,500 from my grandsons account !! I have never known something to take this long. they are unhelpful to the point of being obstructive. Transferred £6500 from Scottish Friendly .It took 2 weeks from start to finish.

I have had various policies with Forester Life for over 20 years and all of my dealings with them have been good - I am most puzzled by the negative reviews? I am aware that they acquired the Children's Mutual a few years ago as I was written to by the Company and I wonder whether the policies held by the negative reviewers are Forester Life plans or Children's Mutual as my plans with Foresters have performed really well including periods of financial uncertainty.

This is a poor company to be investing in and you get minimal returns back. Unfortunately I read reviews after I had taken out a policy and then since cancelled when I was made redundant as I needed to fall back on savings. I had lost 18% of my investment. Foresters blame a volatile market and say investments are better over a larger period of a minimum of five years. I don't certainly believe them on this. There was no issues in getting payment from them. Certinly not a company I would go back to in the future for investment needs.

Awful awful company.
The advisor who came round my house just used crude sales tactics and lied to my face to try to sell an investment package.
She went as far as to ask me how much i wanted to invest each month to type in to her investment calculator and told me this amazing figure! I would be rich!
Except when i asked to see her screen she hadnt used the figure i said... she had typed in a figure 4 times that....

Appalling customer service experience when dealing with a child’s ISA. Never known bureaucracy like it, transferring the ISA virtually an impossible process. How did they get to be the default go to from the child trust fund?? A law unto themselves. Avoid.

We were very disappointed with the investment returns provided by this company and their complaints procedure were not satisfactory either. The funds invested over 17 years barely grew at 1% per annum after their charges were taken into account. I cannot recommend this company at all.

Stay away they are unregulated all advisers are not qualified and cant give advice. Check the FCA register... get advice from a QCF LEVEL 4 Adviser who is registered with the FCA...

ME and my wife have bought a trust fund 10 years ago and we have paid th 40 thousand plus pounds. since then they have paid less than 2000 bonus pound only( ten years+).It was a big mistake buying this fund. forester life is cheating us, i contacted the company to cashin the fund .they said that iwill loose 5000 pounds from the principal a mount plus no interest will be paid for the last 10 yrs 8mos. thank you for keeping our money thieves

15 years in a child policy saving £10 a month. Total £1800 put in. Just matured and received £1876. Equivalent to 0.01 p per day. Disgusting. Avoid this company at all costs.
