Amazing place and very nice auditorium... Well organized events... When you are visiting this place do not carry any metal stuffs such as keys, mobile phones... Bcoz before entering the auditorium you need to deposit it and there are chances it might get misplaced...

A unique building that combines ancient and modern architecture. Easily accessible from two entrances/exits. Within a walking distance of Metro lines 6 and 10. The ground floor lay out can be a bit daunting though.

I have always admired the work of UNESCO, since my childhood. The building is not the most beautiful, typical mid 20C concrete. But the work they do is beautiful. Inside you will find the boring corridors hung with tapestries and sculptures in the lobbies. The bookshop has an excellent collection.

Lofty goals of peace and enlightenment in an increasingly shabby office building. Even the Picasso mural seems in despair. But critically necessary in today's world.

Cultures of the world are constantly looked into in this building, as its seal of "world heritage site" gives local spaces much more global influence. A nice building from the 1950s and you can tell the UN doesn't spend a whole lot to modernize as basically everything is still like it was. You could say it's historical in that sense ????

Architecture is a nice example of 1950's with the use of materials such as concrete and glass. The exterieur and interior of the building hasn't changed a lot. The Japanese garden of Peace is a marvel! The square of Tolerance donated by Israel is worth a visit. "Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that the defenses of peace must be constructed." Also a must are the pieces of art inside, such as a huge wall covering Picasso and a Miro, and in the garden the moving sculptures by Calder.
