The only campsite we've visited more than once. Lovely location for pubs and brilliant scenic walks. Great for dog owners.

Does what is says on the tin. Ideal base from which to explore the area and attend events/festival. Has all the basic amenities, is clean and well maintained and managed by efficient and friendly staff/management.

Reviews state “nice and quiet”! Inconsiderate dog owners allow theirs dogs to relentlessly bark for extended periods. No consideration of others or neighbours but as long as “not on their doorstep”. Dogs barking for attention and are being ignored by owners.

Peaceful, small campsite. Great for dogs as there is a walk across the road to the coastal inlet. Pub & co op very near too

Nice clean, quiet site. Handy for all towns nearby. Good bus service right by the camp, and farm shop across the road.

Small well run site. Good location for exploring West Sussex or Hampshire. Short walk to railway station for train to Portsmouth or Brighton. Site is surrounded by new housing estate, so its not an escape to the country but still quiet.

Good area for walks. Site well organised with very helpful staff. Units have to use own facilities.

Very well run, pleasant and convenient site. At present there are no toilet facilities, but no reduction from the highest, group 7, price band. This has led me to drop 1 star

A nice little site, we visited just a couple of weeks after reopening after the Covid lock down, unfortunately for us the toilet and shower facilities were closed but we knew this before we arrived. We had a pleasant welcoming from the warden who showed us to our pitch, our pitch was by the very busy road so was noisy all day and was only quiet after about 11.00 at night but busy again from 7.00 in the morning, the pitch was quite big but the hard standing erea could have been tidier, there were a lot of weeds and dust which after a three month closure I would have thought the pitches would be in good order. I would stay there again but would request a pitch at the other end of the site which would be quieter.

This campsite was very pleasant. The staff were really friendly helping us set up and the toilets were clean. Although it was a bit cramped, we had enough space to get by.

Not family friendly and rude!! CHICHESTER club (main road) My children were told not to play and not to ride their bikes around! My daughter had concussion and needed an ambulance in the night because she couldn’t see properly which the owners were aware of and we didn’t get back until 4am which meant the start to our very first camping trip to leave the site was delayed as we overslept. We were packing up as fast as we could and a lady with short blonde hair who worked there came over and was very rude about us hurrying up. Even though it was 11:30. I explained what happened last night and her response was very rude and said yes well you still need to be gone by 12 in a very rude voice and I said I’m going as quick as I can. It’s our first ever trip in the van and it took us longer than expected as one of the steadys came off. As we were hooking up the caravan at 12:30 (yes we were late but with extenuating circumstances) she came over and was so rude and started having a go at us saying we should have been off and 1pm people want to come in. ( Even though it’s 12:30) two other campers witnessed this and were also disgusted with how we were treated. We will never ever go back to such and unfriendly place! The club motto is the friendly club!

Great place and very welcoming and helpful warden. There is plenty of room to make the pitches just a tiny bit bigger. Very difficult to get on and off ours.

Small friendly campsite with good transport links, trains to Portsmouth, Chichester, Brighton are a ten minute stroll from the site. Bus stop next to site entrance. Fullers pub The Travellers Inn is 50 metres from the site entrance and serves a selection of Fullers ales and good quality food. There is a little bit of noise from the main road and you can hear the trains when the wind is in the right direction, however this site is a good base to explore the local area and further afield if you want to.

Clean site well cared for rather felt we got in the way though...... no gas kept on site another week before that's delivered. Good job it was a spare...nothing to do on site at all....lovely walks off site towards the estuary though...nothing to complain about but nothing exceptional either .

As a child I didn't find it fun because there wasn't a park and you couldn't play any ball games, allowed dogs but they have to stay on a lead. I found it cleen in the toilet and shower block. The man was helpful with my mum as we haven't had the caravan for a long time.

A small, immaculate site run by friendly and efficient people. Lovely dog walks opposite and easy transport links. Several pubs and takeaways nearby. Some road noise (can't be helped!) No play facilities makes it a site more suited to adults.

Ideal situation for visiting the Sussex Downs and coastal area. Friendly and helpful staff plus clean toilet/shower facilities. Initially there does not seem to have enough facilities for the size of site but we stayed 5 nights and never had a problem getting a shower, toilet or washing up space.

Small but nice & clean & well maintained. Also well spaced out. Nice dog walking routes down to the ocean through public footpaths of farmers. I'd advise phoning B4 arriving as was full on Goodwood Rivival weekend.

Very friendly welcome and helpful. A clean campsite. We felt very comfortable and like to thank the staff on this way. A small drawback: There only one pub nearby, which is reachable without a car. But this pub is highly recommented. Greetings from Conny and Hansjörg from Germany

Lovely compact site with clean hot showers and toilets. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Coastliner 700 bus available to Brighton and Portsmouth . A good base for Chichester. Unfortunately a large new housing estate, within a few feet of the site's boundaries currently being built will mean the site will be overlooked and potential noise levels could increase.

Quite a cramped site - the people opposite were very close. I would imagine in summer that you would be disturbed by your neighbours. The hardstanding pitches weren't really hard standing - they were grass growing up through a plastic frame. However, there was practically no grass so the pitch was soil and moss which meant it was muddy with all the wet weather. Shower and toilet blocks were fine although I didnt like the push button showers - seems very cheapskate-ish considering how much the site cost. Staff were friendly enough though. Station is 5 mins walk away and then 5 mins on the train to Chichester. Prob wouldn't stay here again unless I specifically needed to.

Welcoming staff. Toilet and showers etc clean and tidy. There is only one water tap close to the entrance which could be inconvenient if there were a couple of vans booking in at the same time all requiring to take on water. No MH service point. There is a bus stop to Portsmouth and Chichester close to the site entrance. Co-op shop 5 minutes walk from site and I believe there's a Tesco Express close by.
