Lovingly cared for site with superb staff. The 700 Coastliner bus stops by the pub next door making Chichester, Portsmouth, Hayling Island and Emsworth an easy option. This site is so much more than a ferry stopover, loved it.

This site is up to the usual high Camping and Caravan Club standards. Facilities are very clean and having separate toilet and shower areas is a nice idea. This is the third time we’ve used this site and every time the staff have been very friendly and helpful. Local farm shop and Co-Op are a short walk away. Bus stop not far from the site entrance and Southbourne rail station less than half a mile away. A pub (The Travellers Joy) is just outside the site, very handy for a pint and a bite to eat. Although there may be some noise from the building site next door it does look like it is nearing completion (this is well publicised by the site so I’m sure they’ll inform us when it’s finished), that said we haven’t found it a massive problem either last year or this. Being hyper critical there is a little noise from the road and the railway at time, not enough for us not to want to return here to what we think is overall an excellent little site. Thoroughly recommended!

Great campsite for caravans or motorhome s on bus route to Chichester or Portsmouth with local pub 2 min walk with food, farm shop 5 min walk away and a vets next door but one, animal friendly, WiFi can be bought on site, nice toilets showers and washing machine facilities, run by friendly staff always willing to help... Had a great week parked up on site.

“Not the friendly caravan club as their logo says ! Don't go here !”
We were literally shouted at in front of other guests for parking our van in the wrong place whilst waiting to be checked in. A very abrupt greeting. Another lady was brought to tears by the management team saying she had measured her van wrong in her initial booking and because she now had a bike rack on the back there was no room for her. They even got a tape measure out to see how wrong she had been with her measurements. !
We had prebooked and left deposit, which was not refundable, or else we would have left after the first 10 minutes. We contacted Caravan club customer services and left over 10 messages for them to get back to us, as we were not expected to be treated with such rudeness. They came back to us after 48hrs and said because we had actually stayed there there was nothing they could do as far as a refund, These managers of the site spoiled our holiday and we were on tenterhooks every time they strode around. We are a couple in our 50's, professional working people with a decent van. good manners and friendly. Why should we have to put up with some sit e manager being extremley rude, nasty and very unhelpful . Its disgusting.We were paying over £30.00 A night ! Needless to say not re-joining Caravan club.

we stayed at this site for the first time in september - came down to attend goodwood revival - could not fault at all - excellent pub 50 yds away - bus stop nearby - did not have to use the car at all - would recommend -
